Chelsea called Leslie out for trying to interfere with her wedding. Leslie brushed off her claims. They got into an argument about it. Leslie declared that she wasn’t obsessed with the Duprees. After the argument, Leslie went to the hospital to meet with Lia. While she was there, she was rude to Shanice. She got into an argument with Anita too, Leslie found Lia, but she blew her off. Ted saw Leslie after getting rejected and wondered if she needed someone to talk to. Leslie admitted that she made mistakes in the past, While they were talking, they realized they’ve come a long way since the past. Their close moment was short-lived when Shanice interrupted them. Leslie said that Ted couldn’t keep his hands off of her and walked out of the office. After Leslie left, Ted explained what happened between them. He felt responsible for the way Leslie turned out. Shanice didn’t care what he had to say. She told him to call her when he decided to stop being nice to his ex. Later Smitty tried to get information from Ted. Ted wasn’t helpful. Ted was left with questions.
Martin discussed Smitty’s story with Vernon. They talked about Joey implying that he could reveal the family’s secrets. Joey could reveal Martin’s secrets in particular. Vernon advised him to focus on his current race and not the one in the future. Lia informed Madison that she had to stop seeing patients because of the lawsuit. Madison had to take a sabbatical or get suspended. Madison called Chelsea to talk about it. Chelsea had something that would make her feel better. While they were hanging out, Madison’s mother called. Chelsea put her in her place for what she did to Madison.
