Sheila is visiting Deacon, still wearing a robe, and they discuss her decision to stay in town after a recent event that she believes is fate giving her a second chance with her son, Finn. Deacon warns her of the consequences of staying, as it could jeopardize his relationships with others in the community. Nevertheless, Sheila decides to stay and makes a bold move to seduce Deacon.
Meanwhile, Wyatt expresses his concerns about Sheila’s presence to Liam and questions whether Liam wants another chance with his ex-wife, Steffy. Liam admits to having conflicted feelings since their recent encounter in Rome. However, he insists that his primary concern is for Steffy and their daughter’s safety, especially with Finn’s recent embrace of Sheila.
At the cliff house, Steffy confronts Finn about hugging Sheila and expressing her worries about him having a connection to his birth mother. Finn apologizes for his actions and reassures Steffy of his love for their family, blaming Liam for manipulating her feelings. Despite Finn’s apologies, Steffy decides to leave with the kids and seek refuge at her grandfather’s house, fearing for their safety due to Finn’s connection to Sheila. Finn pleads with her not to go, but Steffy remains firm in her decision.
