Sheila: And here I thought no one cared, and the woman that raised my son is checking up on me.
Li: I came to see you in the cage where you belong.
Sheila: Might not be five star. Could use an omelet station, but then, strong women like us we can handle a little temporary discomfort. In a cell for a few days, on the streets for a few weeks.
Li: You and I have nothing in common, sheila. That’s why I’m going to spend the rest of my life loving finn and hayes and you are going to spend the rest of your life behind bars.
Finn: Hey.
Steffy: Hey.
Finn: Are you okay?
Steffy: Uh…
Finn: What– what happened? I thought you’d call me on your way home.
Steffy: Yeah, I needed the drive to think.
Finn: So what– what happened? Did bill come to his senses? Did you get through to him?
Steffy: No.
Finn: What? Bill can’t possibly still be defending sheila.
Bill: Now, you’re going to be in jail for a bit. That’s a necessary step. I will then do everything in my power to get you out.
Sheila: You don’t know how much I’m counting on that. Oh, just get me out soon. I love you so much, bill. And don’t forget what this represents to you. The power. You take no prisoners. You win at all costs.
I’m yours for life.
[ Door unlatching ]
Katie: Oh, bill. Thank god! I’ve been calling you and calling you. I’ve texted. You haven’t gotten back to me. I just– I– I can’t believe what’s happened. Sheila has finally been caught and it’s all because of you.
Li: You’re even more delusional if you’re smiling at rotting away in here for the rest of your life.
Sheila: I’m sorry. Who’s delusional?
Li: This bravado may impress the criminals you’re locked up with, but it doesn’t work with me. I know you can be scared, sheila. I’ve seen it.
Sheila: Do I look scared to you?
Li: You think this is a game?
Sheila: No, I don’T. But if it is, it’s one that I am going to win in the end.
Katie: Are you okay after sheila was here?
Bill: I didn’t realize you were still concerned about me.
Katie: Of course I am. You caught sheila and– and turned her in. I– I mean, how did this happen? Did you trick her somehow? Lure her to the house?
Bill: She, uh– she showed up here. I called the police and that’s all.
[ Katie sighing ]
Katie: That’s all? That’s incredible. So brave. We’re all so grateful, bill. Everyone. Brooke. I mean, I’m sure that finn and– and steffy, they must be elated. But– but I still don’t understand how this happened. I mean, how did sheila end up here? And– and what did she want from you?
Finn: I don’t get it. Bill called the police. Sheila’s been arrested.
Steffy: Sheila’s locked up, but bill wants her out as soon as possible.
Finn: Well, then why turn her in?
Steffy: If not, then she’ll be on the run. This way, she’ll wind up free.
Finn: By blackmailing you. So, he’s still threatening to send your mom to prison for shooting him.
Steffy: Nothing made a difference. Bill is not backing down. If we testify against sheila, if she happens to stay locked up, my mom’s gonna end up in prison too.
Li: You may think you’re getting out of here, sheila, but that’s not happening.
Sheila: Such negative thinking.
Li: Your days of terrorizing my family are over. My son. My son… nearly died at your hands. I saved him, made sure he got home to his wife and children.
Sheila: I– I really don’t want to waste this visit with you arguing things.
Li: Because you know there’s no excuse for what you did. Inflicting violence and pain to those you claim to love? And then onto yourself so you can escape?
Sheila: If I really wanted to escape, I would have, but running away is only a temporary solution.
Li: No, this is a solution, sheila. You behind bars where you can’t hurt anyone else ever again. No more violence. No deception, no threats. You’ve done your worse to me, finn, steffy and her family, going all the way back to her mother and grandmother. How you attacked them and brooke logan too? What you did to them was disgusting, but it’s over. It’s all over. You will now pay for your crimes. All these traumas will be healed and forgotten one day. You see, I believe in right and wrong. I believe people like finn and hayes deserve a happy and free life. And people like you get what’s coming to them.
Sheila: This may surprise you, but I totally agree. I’m getting exactly what I deserve.
[ Katie sighing ]
Katie: Do you know how long it’ll take to prosecute sheila?
Bill: We’re not there yet.
Katie: Thank god she didn’t get away again.
Bill: Sheila’s days of running could finally be over.
Katie: Thank god. That woman has done nothing but cause our families pain and misery.
[ Bill sighing ]
Bill: Well hopefully, we can all move on.
Katie: Put sheila behind us. You don’t think she’s still gonna be a problem for us, do you bill? I mean, what exactly did she say? I can’t believe that she would come here, of all places, for help. Did– did she have a gun?
Bill: Katie, why do you want all these details?
Katie: Because I care about you. Because the idea of sheila harming you in any way or– or worse, it’s– it’s unthinkable. I know that we have been a little out of touch lately, a little out of sorts, but I care about you. We’re family. We have a son together. We’ll always be connected and it’s just– it’s terrifying to think that sheila could have harmed you in any way. I’m just so grateful she didn’t and that we never have to worry about that awful woman again. Because of you. You have eliminated sheila carter from our lives forever. Bill… you’re a hero.
Steffy: I really thought I was getting through to him.
Finn: Well, was it an act?
Steffy: No. No, he said he heard me. He understood our feelings about sheila. The pain that she’s caused and that I had every right to want sheila locked up, but he said that there was one thing I wasn’t taking into consideration: The emptiness inside of him. That he needed a woman who could handle him.
Finn: Okay, so what’re you saying? You’re saying that bill has seriously developed feelings for sheila?
Steffy: Oh, my gosh. I can’t believe this. I think bill has lost his mind and now we may all be paying the price. 3, 4
Sheila: Li, li, li. You– you amuse me. I think you’re confusing justice for retribution.
Li: Don’t worry, sheila. Your day in court is coming. Finn and steffy will testify against you. How you shot them and left them for dead. You’ll finally pay for your crimes. You may have given birth to finn, but god help him and hayes for even having a trace of your blood in their veins. But you will never be a part of their lives ever again. You won’t be discussed. Hayes will never know you ever existed. You will be erased from all of our lives forever. And there’s not a damn thing you can do about it. Guard, I’m done here.
Sheila: Yeah, well I wanna thank you for coming to see me, li. And please, tell finn and steffy that I’m thinking about them and we’ll all be together again soon.
[ Sheila laughing ]
Katie: You’re so quiet. Is this because you’re still shaken from what happened last night? You are a hero, bill. To all of us. We know that. You don’t need to wear that anymore. You can take the sword off.
Bill: Why would I take it off?
Katie: Because you don’t need it. I know you’ve been in a dark place, but that’s not who you are. You’re not that guy and what you did with sheila, it just proves it. You don’t need that anymore. You say you wear it for protection.
Bill: I do.
Katie: You don’t have to protect yourself anymore. Our greatest threat is behind bars and you put her there.
Finn: No, that’s great. I’m glad everyone is having such a good time.
[ Phone beeping ] Hey, the kids are fine. Amelia says they want to stay at the park.
Steffy: Okay.
Finn: Hey, we’re gonna figure this out.
Steffy: I just wish I knew what bill was doing. His motives are always so obvious. Money, power, prestige. I don’t understand what he expects to get from this.
Finn: Don’t you think that sheila might be blackmailing him?
Steffy: I was wondering the same thing, but he denied it.
Finn: You asked him?
Steffy: Yeah. He said that’s not what it is.
Finn: So, you’re saying that he really wants us to let sheila off the hook because he cares for her?
Steffy: Apparently, so much so that he’s willing to send my mother to prison if we don’T.
Finn: Honey, you’re right. He’s lost it.
Steffy: If sheila is actually blackmailing him, we’d be able to find a way out of this, but we’re in trouble if bill has real feelings for her.
I like to voost it voost it
Finn: But I thought one of bill’s redeeming values was his love for his family.
Steffy: It is.
Finn: But you’re saying that’s changed?
Steffy: I don’t know. I don’t understand any of this. Bill is threatening my mother, threatening her freedom so sheila could have hers? It’s absurd.
Finn: No, sheila belongs in prison. Taylor doesn’T. She’s a good person.
Steffy: She is a good person. My mom was a different person back then. Like I said, she thought bill was taking advantage of me.
Finn: Look, protecting your children is one of the most natural instincts there is. I mean, if I were in her shoes, I don’t know. I would have– the thought of bill hurting you? But now, he is. He is threatening our family and your mother. If sheila doesn’t stay locked up, there’s no telling what she could do to us. I mean, she’s already proven how depraved and murderous she could be.
Steffy: Bill swore he was never gonna say anything about my mom shooting him. And now, it could all come out because what? He’s– he’s lonely? This isn’t the bill I know.
Finn: Look, before he helped save me from sheila, I never thought much of the guy. He seemed very full of himself. But now, to defend sheila? To put us all at risk? Your mom, my mom, kelly, hayes?
Steffy: I get it. I know. Bill talks about not wanting to hurt another woman. Not cause them pain. But, he thinks with sheila, he doesn’t have to worry about that.
Finn: So, he’s fallen for her because she doesn’t have any real feelings? This is the most bizarre thing I’ve ever heard.
Steffy: Finn, it’s worse than that. It’s insane.
Officer: Rise.
Officer 2: Officer, step out. Give the prisoner time with their visitor.
Officer: Sir.
Officer 2: Did I not make myself clear?
Bill: Room clean?
Officer 2: Yes, sir.
Sheila: No one gets privacy in here.
Bill: I’m the exception to the rule.
Sheila: But why? What’s going on?
Bill: I had to make sure you were okay.
Sheila: I am now. But you shouldn’t be here, bill. This is dangerous.
Bill: Don’t worry. Everyone out there thinks I’m furious. I told them I had to look you in the eye and confront you for what you’ve done.
Sheila: Is that all you wanna do?
Bill: How are you doing?
Sheila: I’m hanging in there. Waiting for you to get me out the way you promised. Hey, you are still going to come through for me, aren’t you?
Bill: These last few weeks have been surreal for me.
Sheila: Yeah, for me too.
Bill: I’m working on everything to get you released. I can’t stop thinking about you.
Sheila: Well then, get me out of here soon so we can be together again.
Bill: Are you sure that’s what you want?
Sheila: Are you seriously asking me that?
Bill: I’m not talking about getting you out. I’m talking about whatever this is between us, whatever these feelings are that have arisen so quickly. Are they real? I’ve got to know, sheila. Are they real?
