Sally has a video call with Jill and asks her to invest in Abbott Communications because she thinks it might be a first step in reconciling with Billy. Jill tells Sally she will think about her proposal and talk to her again when she arrives soon in Genoa City.

Tessa tells Sharon that she and Daniel are going to find out what happened to Mariah when she took that business trip so they can help her heal and get on with her life.

Claire tells Nikki and Victoria that she is going on vacation to Los Angeles with Holden. Nikki and Vi Toria decide to ask Nick to check in on Claire since he is going to Los Angeles to help Noah open his new club. Kyle asks Claire if she broke up with him because she wants to spend more time with Holden.

Sally asks Billy to choose her or his plan to get Chancellor Industries back to prove to Jill that she made a mistake selling the company to Victor. Billy tells Sally that he chooses her and that they will get everything they want, and they will do it together.

Michael tells Lauren he is working as Cane’s Fixer so Cane doesn’t take over all the companies in Genoa city.

Victor tells Cane that, if he teams up with him to take down Jabot, he can keep Jabot and all the other companies he owns. Cane tells Victor that, if he teams up with him, he wants Victor not to go public with the story that Colin stole the seed money for Arabesque from a rich older lady. Victor agrees to think about it and Cane agrees to think about teaming up with him.

Jack thinks he should team up with Victor to take Cane down, but Diane doesn’t think that is a good idea.

Lauren asks Michael to tell her the truth about what he is doing or she will never forgive him. Michael tells Lauren that Cane wants to destroy Genoa City and he is the only one who can stop him.

Jack and Diane are worried about Kyle who is drunk and arguing with Audra at the Athletic club. Jack gets Kyle away from Audra and gets some coffee into him. Jack, Diane, and Kyle talk later about Cane ‘s AI program and how dangerous it could be but they aren’t sure they can trust Billy to help them stop Cane.

Billy tells Sally that she was right all along that Cane’s plan is dangerous and he needs to be stopped. Billy asks Sally to forgive him because he loves her and he never should have taken her for granted.

Danny talks to Daniel and tells him that Mariah asked him to look after Tessa and Aria while she leaves town for a while to deal with something she has done. Danny tells Daniel that he knows that he has feelings for Tessa and that if Tessa’s relationship with Mariah ends, then he should give himself a chance to find love again.

Cane calls a meeting with Amanda Michael and Phyllis and tells them his original plan is back on again. Cane tells everyone that Billy is out of the plan because he has too much baggage.

Sally goes to tell Jack and Diane about the AI software that could take over any company and make it seem like the company had been mismanaged and was in finical ruin. Sally also tells Jack and Diane that Cane wants Billy to do all the dirty work and put the software into any company’s computer system that he wants to own. Sally asks Jack to try and talk sense into Billy, but Jack tells Sally Billy will have to take responsab8lity for his own decisions even if he goes to prison.

Billy tells Cane that he is all in on his plan and asks Cane to give him the software.

Holden apologizes if he caused any trouble between Kyle and Claire. Holden tells Claire he is going to Los Angeles to help move Cane’s company to Genoa City. Claire gets a call from Victoria and, when she leaves to talk to Victoria on the phone, Kyle tells Holden that he knows the apology is only for Claire’s benefit.

Sally tells Billy that she quits Abbott Communications because she doesn’t want to go down the path of hatred and revenge with him. Sally also tells Billy she doesn’t know if she wants to continue their romantic relationship.

Michael agrees to spy on Cane for Victor but makes it clear that he is doing it to protect the people that they both love. Kyle tells Holden to stay away from Claire because he is a player who is trying to break up their relationship. Claire arrives and gets angry with Kyle for trying to control who she can have for friends.

Claire later talks to Holden in the park and tells her he doesn’t want her to think the worst of hm and that is why he doesn’t want to tell her what happened in Los Angeles with Audra. Claire tells Holden that nothing he can say can change her opinion of him. Holden tells Claire that he has feelings for her and he doesn’t want to hide it anymore.

Cane cancels the Abbott Communications launch party at Society so he can talk to Billy, Sally, and Phyllis alone. Cane has Phyllis explain to Billy and Sally that the AI program that he has can get inside any company’s financial records and make it go bankrupt. The program can also blame anyone it wants for the bankruptcy and then the program disappears from the computer. Cane tells Billy, Sally, and Phyllis that Victor is blackmailing him because he wants the program for himself. Cane tells Billy, Sally, and Phyllis he will give them the program so that they can take down Victor together but he has to keep his hands clean for the sake of his kids.

Tessa tells Daniel they should sing the song they wrote together at Danny and Christine ‘s wedding. Daniel doesn’t feel he is ready to share the song with anyone. Daniel thanks Tessa for writing the words she wrote for the song and he says the words to the song are beautiful just like her.

Mariah tells Tessa that she is going to Boston because her therapist thinks she needs more therapy. Mariah once again tells Tessa she is sorry for hurting her and Aria. Mariah finally tells Tessa that she tried to kill a man and she has been trying to deal with it.

Nick tells Phyllis to get away from Cane because the AI program is put into the computer system of any company and it takes all the money from the company until the company has no choice but to be sold to someone else to keep from going bankrupt. Nick tells Phyllis that he has consulted lawyers who told him that anyone involved in this scheme could spend ten years in prison. Phyllis agrees to spy on Cane for Nick and let him know everything Cane is doing. Kyle tells Claire that he signed a contract with Victor that if he broke her heart he would pay him five million dollars and leave Genoa City.

Kyle tells Claire that it was the only way he could think of to prove to Victor how much he loves her. Claire tells Kyle that she knows that he loves her but she needs time to decide if she can trust him.

Victor talks to Victoria, Nick, and Adam at the ranch. Victor tells Victoria, Nick, and Adam that he has proof that Colin conned a woman out of her money and used the money to start Arabesque. Victor also tells Victor, Nick, and Victoria about Cane’s AI program that he intends to use the program to take over all the companies in Genoa City. Victor wants to force Cane to give him control of the program.

Michael tells Victor that Cane offered him a job and Victor wants Michael to take it and tell him all of Cane’s plans.

Claire tells Audra to go away but Audra continues to tell Claire about her time in Nice with Kyle. Claire calls Audra a selfish vicious b word and Holden holds Audra back so Audra doesn’t slap Claire.

Holden takes Claire to Crimson Lights to get coffee. Claire asks Holden to tell her what happened in Los Angeles with Audra so she can have something to make Audra leave her alone. Holden doesn’t want to tell her what happened in Los Angeles. Claire apologizes to Holden for putting him on the spot.

Cane asks Michael to be his Fixer but Michael tells him he has retired. Cane shows Michael what his salary would be and Michael still refuses the job. Michael wants to know what Cane needs fixed but Cane doesn’t want to tell him the problem until he decides to take the job.

Nikki surprises Victor with a romantic evening showing him how special he is to her.

Cane later tells Amanda that he is taking a break from his plan so he can focus on his family but, when nobody is watching him, he will take over all the companies in town including Winters Inc. which he told Lily and Devon he wasn’t going to touch.

Nikki promotes Claire to junior executive in the publishing division which Cole used to run and, when she is ready, Claire will run the division too.

Kyle persuades Claire to have dinner with him. Kyle plans to propose to Claire even though Jack and Diane advised him not to propose to Claire right now because it might seem manipulative to her and like he is trying to ignore the fact that he made a mistake not telling Claire as soon as he got home that he kissed Audra in Nice.

Cane records a long video on his phone explaining to Mattie and Charlie why he assumed the identity of Aristotle Dumas. Cane explains to his kids that he wanted to build a future for them. Cane tells his kids he shouldn’t have lied to them or Lily. Cane tells Mattie and Charlie that he has made a lot of mistakes, and he hopes someday they can forgive him.

Cane later talks to Phyllis and shows her the evidence that Victor has that proves Colin conned an old rich woman out of her money. Colin gave Cane that money to start his company Arabesque. Phyllis tells Cane it doesn’t matter how he started his company; nobody will care about that because everyone lies. Cane remembers that his dad Colin told him that after he has done all that he needs to do, he should bury the identity of Aristotle Dumas and become Cane Ashby again and get back his family.

Nate interrupts the drinks that Holden, Claire, Daniel, and Tessa are having to ask Claire how Victoria is dealing with Cole’s death. Claire takes the opportunity to tell Nate that Victor paid Audra to seduce Kyle so they would break up but, her plan failed, so Victor stopped funding Vivrante.

Audra later tells Nate that Claire is lying because she believes that Kyle is telling her the truth. Nate believes Claire is telling the truth but he has some doubt until Audra slips and tells Nate that Victor is right, Kyle will break Claire’s heart. Nate wonders how Audra knows what Victor thinks about Claire’s relationship with Kyle.

Tessa thanks Daniel for being a bright spot in her life and helping her believe that she could be happy again. Daniel tells Tessa he feels the same way about her.

Phyllis advises Cane to forgive himself for his mistakes and then explain to Charlie and Mattie why he became Aristotle Dumas. Phyllis tells Cane that Charlie and Mattie will eventually forgive him. Cane tells Phyllis that they are not partners, he is her boss.
