Theo and Abe sat by Lexie’s side when Kayla came into her room. She confirmed that the woman in the bed was Lexie. They knew it because they felt connected to her. Kayla assured them that she was okay. Theo wanted to stay with Lexie while Abe talked to Paulina. Lexie woke up after Abe left and was surprised that Theo was her son. He informed her that she passed away and that it was 2026. Paulina sat alone at the hospital when Marlena noticed her. She talked to Marlena about everything that happened with Lexie. Paulina thought that Abe was going to leave her for Lexie. Marlena tried to assure her that her marriage would be fine, but Paulina wasn’t sure about that. She knew Abe’s love for her was different from his love for Lexie. Paulina knew she lost him. Chanel arrived at the hospital to get Johnny and to get her biopsy. She noticed her mother, and she filled Chanel in about Lexie. Chanel realized that Lexie was the problem Paulina was talking about. She assured Paulina that Abe loved her. Abe arrived and wanted to talk to Paulina. Kayla went to Marlena’s office, and they talked about Lexie. They also talked about the chess set that Stefano left Marlena. Marlena turned it down. She was happy that Lexie was back, but she felt bad for Paulina. EJ wanted Gwen at the mansion to talk about their patient. He told her that she was awake. Lexie was in the hospital because of Leo. Gwen was upset, but EJ was ready for the next part of the plan. He told her that he already received offers for the drug. Gwen reminded him that he was offered billions of dollars for the drug already. EJ reminded her that he was taking the risks for the plan so he should get the majority of the money. Gwen was furious that he felt he should get more money. He told her that she didn’t have a leg to stand on. She had to take what she was offered or get nothing. Abe talked to Paulina about Lexie. He admitted that he was struggling with everything. Abe didn’t know what to do. Paulina told him to support his wife. He had to help her recover. Abe reminded her that she was his wife too. Paulina didn’t think she was since Lexie was back. He said he loved her too. Paulina said she loved him too, but she pushed him away. She told him to be with Lexie.
