Cane refuses Phyllis’s job offer and he tells her that he doesn’t want to be involved with her professionally or personally . Cane tells Phyllis that he has a plan to get back everything that was taken from him.
Stephanie tells Malcolm that Lily isn’t a viable option for a donor because she had chemotherapy and radiation to treat the cancer she had years ago. Lily finds out the bad news when she calls her doctor to find out about how to get tested. Cane overhears Lily’s conversation with her doctor.
Stephanie shocks both Holden and Malcolm when she tells them that they are father and son. Holden also finds out that Lily is his half sister. Holden and Malcolm are both upset with Stephanie for keeping the truth from them all these years .Stephanie tells Holden and Malcolm they can discuss all that later, right now they must concentrate on getting Malcolm healthy. Stephanie asks Holden to please get tested to see if he is a match because he is the only hope to save Malcolm’s life.
