Nick plays blackjack at the casino bar while he waits for Adam to talk to Riza. Riza doesn’t trust that Adam wants to go back to his card sharp days because he needs money since the Newmans lost Newman Enterprises. Riza tells Adam she will think about letting him back in the card games. Adam later tells Nick that Riza doesn’t trust him yet, so he couldn’t ask her if she knew Matt Clark ‘s. whereabouts.
Nick tells Adam that Noah called earlier and told him that Matt has been sending him text messages, so they need to find Matt right away.
Adam is worried about Nick because he doesn’t seem to be feeling well but Nick tells Adam that he is okay. Adam is unaware that Nick has been popping pain pills like they are coming out of a gum ball machine.
Daniel tells Danny and Christine that he told Tessa to try to save her marriage to Mariah even though it will break his heart. Mariah and Tessa talk. Mariah tells Tessa to be happy with Daniel because she is going to jail. Tessa tells Mariah that she can take the plea deal and get the medical help she needs and they could also work to save their marriage. Tessa tells Mariah that if she tells her to leave this time she will never bother her again but if she has the slightest bit of love for her she will stay and get through this together.
