Tony and Johnny talk about who should run DiMera Enterprises. He felt like Johnny was the only one who could do it. Tony didn’t want to do it, and Johnny was enjoying it. Anna found Tony at the hospital and ran into his arms. She wanted to know how everyone was doing. He told her that they were meeting at Peter’s bedside to decide if they should keep him alive. Anna was willing to put Peter in the ground to save them the trouble. Tony felt like the betrayal brought the family together. Chanel told Trey that he was going to be a big brother when Johnny came home. He told her that he was staying the CEO of DiMera Enterprises. Chanel wasn’t happy about his decision. He promised her that he was staying CEO until Theo recovered. Johnny talked to her about the big check that he would be getting. He shifted gears and told her that he was sad that she didn’t tell him that her cancer might have returned. Kate went into Xander’s office and talked to him about the company. She felt like they were the only two left who would play dirty to save Titan.
Kate wanted him to keep Maggie out of the loop. Xander didn’t like the idea of that. Kate told him about the plan and how they could take advantage of Johnny. She gave him Bonnie’s new book. Gwen ordered Leo and Javi’s wedding present when EJ returned home. She told him that she wasn’t invited to the wedding, but she weas working on it. Gwen wanted to know what he and Rita were talking about when he was kidnapped. She didn’t want him to take Leo out. Gwen didn’t care about him. She had her own plan of revenge. Gwen had a way to keep him distracted. Leo and Javi were getting ready for their wedding. Javi was worried about EJ hurting Leo. Leo was determined to find out what EJ was up to. He got confirmation on what EJ and Gwen were talking about at the gala. Leo thought about inviting Gwen to the wedding to get more dirt from her. Javi talked him into inviting her to the wedding. Gwen arrived at the town square, and the couple invited her to their wedding. She agreed to go. Javi asked Gwen to make sure that EJ got off Leo’s back. She would do that if Leo stayed out of his business.
