Sarah sat with Amy and told her that Sophia had to do inpatient treatment at a mental health facility. Amy wasn’t thrilled about Sophia being sent to Bayview. Sarah tried to talk to Amy about parenting and protecting their kids. The conversation worked. Amy went to see Sophia and told her that she had to go to Bayview to get better. Maggie talked to Xander about not making more mistakes when it came to Sarah. She wanted him to promise her that they could trust him this time. Sarah couldn’t get hurt again. Maggie still felt like he was lying about something. She loved him, but she knew him very well. His puppy dog eyes weren’t going to work this time. Sarah walked in the room when Maggie asked him to look into Sarah’s eyes and tell her that he didn’t attack Philip. Brady talked to Marlena about possibly not staying at Titan anymore. Marlena felt like John would support any decision he made. The family was enjoying time together for Belle’s birthday. Brady accidentally knocked over Rachel’s milkshake, and she flashed back to dropping EJ’s paperweight. Rachel started staring so Marlena took her outside to talk. She assured Marlena there was nothing else bothering her.
Holly found out that she got probation for the fire she started at the dorm. She thought she deserved the time she got. Arianna thought she would be okay. They talked about what happened to Sophia. Holly wanted her to get better so she could face the consequences of her action. Tate arrived when Arianna walked out. Holly wasn’t really feeling Tate at the moment because he didn’t take the time to find out what happened and wanted to make out. She gave him the cold shoulder until he left. Amy apologized to Sophia for being so hard on her. Sophia started crying. Amy told her that she loved her. She tried to reach out for Sophia’s hand, but she snatched it away. Sarah wanted a minute alone with Xander. Xander tried to get out of telling the truth again. She kept pushing until he admitted that he attacked Philip.
