Sarah got a message that Sophia was missing. When she saw EJ, she told him about the lab being backed up and his staffing problems thanks to him not being willing to spend the money. EJ told her she was being insubordinate. While he was talking to her, he brought up Xander. He said he had to make tough decisions to fund the free clinic. EJ asked her to say something at the clinic’s dedication. At the pub, Brady and Steve went to the vacant room upstairs and were able to stop Sophia from leaving. Amy slapped Johnny and blamed him for Sophia running away. She said he was another lying DiMera and wanted to sue him. Johnny let her know that Sophia was with Brady and Steve. While Tate and Holly were on their way to the pub, they ran into Leo and Javi. Leo and Javi asked about Sophia. Tate and Holly told them that Tesoro was Sophia’s baby. Chanel showed up after Tate and Holly went to the pub. She said she was afraid that she and Johnny would lose their chance to adopt Tesoro if Sophia didn’t show up. Chanel spoke to Tesoro and let him know that she and Johnny were fighting to be his parents. When Chanel got a text from Johnny, she walked away.
At the pub, Sophia was scared when she saw Amy. Amy hugged Sophia and told her that everyone was lying about her. Sophia admitted that everything was true and that she wasn’t the person she thought she was. She blamed Amy’s controlling ways for why she gave birth alone. Sophia said she wasn’t going to let her or Tate know that she had the baby or they would have made her keep it. She said if Johnny didn’t bail none of this would have happened. Amy was hurt that Sophia gave birth alone. Everyone else wanted Sophia to give them answers. Leo and Javi came into the pub with Tesoro. Amy went over to Tesoro. Sophia hit herself in the head and said she couldn’t take this anymore. She ended up collapsing. Javi went over to help her. Sophia was taken to the hospital. Sarah took her to an exam room. Amy told Brady that she couldn’t understand how everything happened. Brady told her not to blame herself. Chanel and Johnny showed up at the hospital to find out what was going on. Sarah tried to talk to Sophia but it didn’t do any good. She left Sophia’s room to let everyone know that Sophia had a psychological break and had selective mutism. Amy went to see Sophia. Johnny and Chanel were worried that they weren’t going to get Tesoro.
