Ridge, please. The last few months have taken a toll on us, on our relationship. I just feel like you gave up on us and on me. But now we have a chance to change things. And I just don’t wanna live one more moment without you. I’m hoping you feel the same way. I want you to come back to me. -[both giggling] -BOTH: Cheers. We really should get some champagne. All in good time, mon cherie. For now, let’s just savor the victory. Forrester Creations is finally ours. No sweeter words, are there? None of this would have happened if it weren’t for you. You helped bring Carter around. Yeah. Carter’s a wonderful man. I think he would have gotten there eventually on his own. I really don’t think that. I mean, Hope–she was in his ear steering him in the wrong direction. Well, in the end…didn’t work. Hope’s out of the company. Mm-hmm. And possibly out of Carter’s life. Mom! Just in time. The LLC papers are being refiled. Forrester Creations is ours. Fabulous, n’est pas? Yes! I’m so happy for you, honey. -Aw. -And your father. I bet Ridge is ecstatic. Look, I know you’re hurting, but I’m not giving up on us. What we have is worth fighting for. Your words mean nothing. Your words are so hollow when your actions today proved otherwise. You caved! You bailed when I needed you most. I didn’t bail on you! I’m right here. -I’m trying to fix this! -You can’t fix this! You broke it! You broke our relationship, and for what? Your empty friendship with Ridge? A seat at the Forrester table again? Really, I wanna know– what makes you think that they’re going to buy anything that comes out of your mouth -after what you did to them? -They probably won’t. But I couldn’t go on with the way things were. Right. And so then Ridge and Eric played on that guilt, and they manipulated your vulnerabilities and got you into tearing up those LLC papers and tore us apart at the same time. Again… I’m sorry… but if you think this is gonna be the end of us, it’s not. It’s not. We’ll come back from this. [emotional music plays] Our relationship is being tested, okay? What we mean to each other. What’s done is done. You made your choice– the Forresters over us. That is not true, Hope. I love you. Don’t close the door on us. Okay? Just… just please try to understand, try to forgive me. Please. [somber music plays] So Hope for the Future’s been suspended? Not only that–Hope walked out. Steffy said it was quite a scene. Well, Hope’s a Logan. They’re big on dramatics. All that matters is that we’re finally rid of Hope. Well, didn’t have much choice after what she did. And what about Carter… and Brooke? Are they gone too? No. And I have mixed feelings about it. I’m guessing you do too. So you wanna turn back time. I want things to be the way they were before this all happened. And they can be– at least between you and me. I mean, Hope, on the other hand– Hope made some extremely bad choices. You know, pushed me, Dad, Steffy out of this company and that’s… caused a lot of pain and a lot of misery for a lot of people. Yes, I know, and I’m sorry. I’m sorry for what you and your family had to go through. But…we need to… put that in the past and we need to look forward with our lives. And I think we can do that, you know, find that loving, happy couple that we once were, celebrate every magical moment… for the rest of our lives. You want that too? [moody music plays] [mellow instrumentals] So Carter’s in, Hope’s out. That’s where things stand. There’s no way I was gonna let Hope stay on, not after what she did to my family. I agree, but she didn’t do it alone. Carter did play an instrumental role in setting the whole thing in motion. Instrumental, yes. Carter was an instrument for Hope to get what she wanted. Daphne, like I said, if it weren’t for you helping out… like, you really helped save Carter. You saved Forrester. You give me too much credit, my friend. I firmly believe Carter would have gotten there -eventually on his own. -So do I. I’ve come to respect Carter very much. I would have respect him even more if he had sent Hope packing. Well, I would love a ringside seat when that happens. Well, given how you said she left, you have to wonder if this is the end of Hope and Carter. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to forgive you for what you’ve done. This destroyed us. Look, um… I know it feels that way. You’re hurting. But if you– But…what? But what, Carter? What are you hoping for, that I’ll just miraculously wake up one day and forget that all of this ever happened? I lost everything! You didn’t! I am right here! You went there! You abandoned me! -You sided with the Forresters! -I didn’t side with– I had no idea Steffy was gonna get Ridge and Eric to go against their promise to me! Oh, really, their promise that Steffy was just going to let bygones be bygones, and she was not going to take her anger out on me– are you kidding me, Carter? Are you kidding? Like…Steffy blames me for orchestrating the entire takeover of Forrester Creations. She has it out for me. Of course… she wasn’t going to let me stay on. Look, this just happened. It just happened. The wounds are fresh. If we give it a few weeks, I’ll go to Steffy on your behalf. I’ll convince her to change her mind. That would be pointless -because Steffy hates me. -No. No, no, no. No, she doesn’t hate you. She hates what you and I did. And she should. It was wrong, Hope. Why can’t you see that? Why can’t you see that the only traitor standing here is you? It was your idea… to take over Forrester Creations, to expand it into an international luxury brand. You are the lawyer who knows about LLC papers, not me! I just… I just supported you. [laughs] I supported your dream. -My mistake. -Mm. You did. You supported me. We made this happen. And it was wrong. We launched a takeover, Hope. We stole their company. That wasn’t right. And unfortunately– Unfortunately what? What, you let me influence you? Is that it? That I manipulated you into signing those papers? No. I’m the one taking responsibility for his actions. You need to see the error of our ways. Your mom sees it. I see it. And when you see it, we can move on and not let this tear us apart! [dramatic music plays] Well, seems that we’ve been here before, huh? One of us trying to forgive the other for… something or someone. I know you didn’t turn to Taylor to hurt me. You were in pain yourself. But it did hurt. It hurt a lot…and still does. Just thinking of you living there at Eric’s with Taylor and building a life with her… I mean, it’s a lot to take. But you know what’s gotten me through… is our love. ‘Cause our love is still there, Ridge. It is. And I believe in our love… to get us through anything. Even this. [soft music plays] [somber music plays] “The error of our ways”? I’m not attacking you, okay? I love you. You say you love me, but I think you need to admit to yourself that you love your job and your brother Ridge a little more. That’s not true. That is not true, -but I do love the truth. -Oh, the truth! Oh, okay, great. Uh, like how you cheated on me with Daphne. Yeah. That might have been just one kiss, but I’m not naive. I’ve been down this road many times before, and you’ve developed feelings for her, haven’t you? Yeah. Ever since she breezed into Forrester Creations smelling like a dream, right, putting doubts and questions in your head. Doubts about me. One of the people that supported you the most. If this is the end of Hope and Carter, Hope has no one to blame but herself. Hope used him. Carter deserves way better. What about Brooke? Well, honestly, I was hoping Brooke was gonna resign when I gave Hope the boot, but she didn’t. She didn’t come to her daughter’s rescue. Yet. What do you mean? Brooke wanted a moment alone with Dad. I’m assuming she’s gonna try to… salvage Hope’s job. Hmm. She thinks she’ll have a better chance if she appeals to your father. Still, it is possible that Brooke wants something. Something that doesn’t have anything to do with Hope. Getting her destiny back. [edgy music plays] I never doubted your love for me, not once. But what you did here, taking the CEO position– that-that was a betrayal on a whole nother level. Because you didn’t understand why I did it–I did it for you and Eric, to get the company back for you! Oh, please, come on. Look, it doesn’t matter. The fact is, Forrester Creations is back in your family’s hands. You’re back where you belong, running the company. But you’re not back somewhere else. You’re not back home, our home, in our bed. I really want you there. I do. I miss you. Tell me you miss me too. [edgy music plays] [knock on door] Wow. What’s going on here? Or do I have to ask? Daphne, have I told you how grateful I am to you? -That’s not necessary. -No, but it is. You put your life in Paris on hold when I needed you most. That’s what true friendship is about. You would have done the same for me. Plus, I like a challenge. [laughs] Well, getting Forrester Creations back without Hope and Carter knowing, that was a big challenge. But we did it. We accomplished what we set out to accomplish. With one unexpected twist. For me, at least. I do have one favor to ask. Anything. Carter. He can never know about our plan. Wow. You’ve really fallen for the guy, haven’t you? Hope, listen– Daphne kissed you, and you allowed it. -Yes, she kissed me, and– -And what is even worse is that you defended her when I insisted that she pack her bags and leave. So why is that, Carter, huh? Tell me, why? Or do we both know the answer to that question? I cannot believe I trusted you with my heart. -Hope, you can still trust me. -[scoffs] My feelings haven’t changed for you. My love, Hope, has not changed. I love you. I love you. I don’t want this to end. So just give me a chance to fix this. -Let me make this right. -Right? You want to make this right after I have been…humiliated, disgraced, fired yet again… and you just stood there as they slandered my name. That is a betrayal that I can’t even begin to wrap my head around. So you keep talking about us and talking about the dreams that we shared. Whatever that was… it’s over. It is over, Carter. Heard the wonderful news. It’s amazing for you and Eric and our daughter. Congratulations. You know, thank you, it’s– w-we’re all… very happy the company’s back where it belongs. That how you feel, too, Brooke? Of course I’m happy. For Ridge especially. It’s been an unfortunate time, but it’s over, and now we can all move forward. And you’re moving forward by making your last… desperate appeal to Ridge? That is what I walked in on, right? Well, uh, Ridge and I— we have said things to each other that we didn’t necessarily mean. Maybe, but… doesn’t change anything. Ridge and I have recommitted to each other… -in every way. -Oh, yeah. Ha. You love reminding me of that. Actually, I don’t really wanna think of you and Ridge together. Absolutely not. But I fought too long and too hard to give up on my relationship with Ridge, and I’m not about to now. My love for you will always be there… always be so strong. I believe you feel the same way. You can’t have both of us, Ridge. So what’s it gonna be? You’re gonna have to choose. Who do you wanna spend the rest of your life with? [emotional music plays]
