Sally: Nick.

Nick: Hey.

Sally: Hi. How are you?

Nick: I’m good, how are you?

Sally: Good.

Nick: I, uh, I got the latest progress reports from my financial team. Seems like your new business is going very well.

Sally: Yeah, I’m– I’m excited. The website is up and running, all systems go. I actually have my first real assignment coming up.

Nick: I love hearing that.

Sally: I couldn’t have done it without you. All your support and encouragement. Not to mention the funding.

Nick: Well, sally, I, uh, I always knew you could accomplish whatever you put your mind to.

Sally: Thank you. How’s your father? I’ve been thinking about him.

Nick: Why is that?

Sally: Adam mentioned that victor’s health– just that something’s been off. And I can imagine that would be upsetting.

Nick: So, you and adam were talking about my father’s condition?

Adam: Dad.

Victor: Yes, son. What is it?

Adam: Um, I was wondering if we could grab a drink after work. There are a few things that I wanted to run by you.

Victor: Oh, yeah. Good idea. Looking forward to it. There are a few agenda items I want to discuss with you. You know, let’s figure out a way to streamline kirsten incorporated so it would be most beneficial to newman media.

Adam: Dad, you– you remember that sharon took…

Victor: Remember what?

Adam: Nothing. Um, we– we can touch on all that.

Victor: All right.

Adam: Thanks, dad.

Victor: Yep.

Nate: Everything okay here?

Kyle: Is there an issue I don’t know about? I got a sense earlier you were aiming to confront me.

Billy: We’re gonna talk directly, kyle. Because jack has been playing the go-between for a while now and I don’t think it’s fair.

Kyle: Well, you seem agitated. What exactly are you accusing me of?

Billy: Coming after my job? You made it clear to jack that you won’t return to jabot unless it’s in the co-ceo position.

Kyle: Yeah, that– that’s right. I have. I’m guessing you don’t think I deserve it.

Billy: Whether you deserve it or not is irrelevant.

Kyle: Why is that?

Billy: Because it’s my job. I am the co-ceo of jabot. Jack trusts me and I am loyal to him and to the company that my father built. And I’m doing a damn good job and I’m not going anywhere.

Ashley: Hello again.

Tucker: Hello.

Ashley: Is that seriously all we have to say to each other after everything we’ve been through?

Tucker: What else is there?

Ashley: I don’t know. It seems like there should be much more, right? I mean, uh, don’t we deserve better?

Tucker: Well, there is something you should probably know.

Ashley: Oh?

Tucker: Yeah, I’ve started annulment proceedings. So, you’ll be hearing from my attorney soon.

Ashley: Wow. I don’t know why I’m surprised. I guess I should have expected it. I guess I should thank you for taking care of it.

Tucker: There’s no point in waiting, right?

Ashley: Right, right. Yeah. An annulment, huh?

Tucker: Yeah, I figured it was the best thing. We were married all of five minutes.

Ashley: True. Boy, did we have some fun in those five minutes? Didn’t we not have fun in those five minutes? Anyway, I know I’ve said it before, but I am sorry for my part in how this all didn’t work out for us and, uh, it just seems like such a waste that we have to act like strangers now, tucker.

Tucker: Do you want to be friends now?

Ashley: Oh, I don’t know. We, you know– can’t we be two people that have been through a lot of stuff together and then maybe there can be some kind of commonality? I don’t know.

Tucker: I don’t see that happening.

Ashley: Okay. Well, then maybe we can be two people that can be in the same room with each other without causing each other pain. I mean, we do share a grandchild, remember?

Tucker: I don’t trust you anymore. I don’t trust your motives anymore.

Ashley: And what could I possibly do to change that?

Tucker: It’s ironic, isn’t it?

Ashley: How so?

Tucker: Well, now the shoe is on the other foot, isn’t it? You gotta be the one to convince me we have any kind of future. Sometimes, the lows of bipolar depression feel darkest before dawn. With caplyta, there’s a chance to let in the lyte.

Announcer: Additional sponsorship provided by…

Ashley: You know, in spite of your atrocious, truly, truly atrocious behavior in paris, I still can envision a future where the two of us can actually be civil with each other. And maybe down the line, like far down the line, we could actually be friends. I don’t know.

Tucker: Fun. Maybe we could go shopping and get manicures.

Ashley: Do you want me to get on my knees, tucker? Did you want me to get on my knees and beg and plead with you so you could just say no to me?

Tucker: No, it’s probably a waste of time for you to even try.

Ashley: Why? Because you admit that you would just be setting me up or because you don’t think I can convince you that it’s possible?

Tucker: No, I think you can convince me. I believe in your powers of persuasion, but your motives? Not for a second.

Ashley: So, why would I– I waste my time and energy trying to convince you that I think we could have some kind of a friendship?

Tucker: Because what you really want to know is what, if anything, I have planned against you and your family.

Ashley: I’d be a fool not to wonder.

Tucker: Oh, indeed.

Ashley: So, if you hate me so much and you’re so angry, then why don’t you just admit it? Wouldn’t it feel really good just to admit that you’re going after jabot?

Tucker: Has it ever occurred to you maybe there’s nothing I want from you or your family?

Ashley: No, no, nope. Uh-huh. I know you too well. I do. I’ve got this bad feeling that you are out for vengeance.

Tucker: Yeah, maybe. Or maybe I just like watching you squirm just like you and your brother did to me when I first got back to town.

Ashley: Gosh, you worked so hard, didn’t you? To become a better man? This doesn’t sound like the new and improved tucker at all. Are you telling me he’s gone for good?

Tucker: Yeah, I left him in a hotel room in paris. Broken heart.

Ashley: Oh, jeez. Unbelievable. The man that I left in paris was a monster who terrified me with his anger because he didn’t get what he wanted.

Tucker: And– and I’m, you know, I’m not going to justify myself to you anymore. In fact, I’m not sure I care at all what you think anymore.

Ashley: So, just like that, you just– you went from loving me so deeply to hating me so completely. I mean, I can’t help but wonder if you ever really loved me.

Tucker: What difference does it make? You wrecked it.

Ashley: Oh?

Tucker: Yeah, and I’m not about to go back for seconds, I’ll tell you that.

Ashley: I wrecked it. It’s all ashley’s fault, right? So, why don’t you just admit it, now you want payback.

Tucker: Yeah, that’s right. I want payback. Or maybe I’ve let the whole thing go.

Ashley: But you’re not gonna let me know for sure.

Tucker: No, I don’t think I will.

Kyle: Sure, billy. You’re doing a good enough job at jabot, for now. But how long will that last? You always implode.

Billy: And that makes it okay for you to make a play for a job that isn’t yours?

Kyle: It was my job.

Billy: It was, kyle. It’s not anymore. You walked away.

Kyle: To work with my wife.

Billy: Ex-wife.

Kyle: That’s right. And I was forced out of that job.

Billy: It’s not like jack’s not inviting you back to jabot. I mean, he’s offering you the coo position.

Kyle: I don’t want it.

Billy: Let me guess. You think you’re too good for that job?

Kyle: Jabot hasn’t had a coo in years. It’s a token position. I deserve something better.

Billy: Wow. You always been this entitled?

Kyle: Billy, I just want respect, the same thing as you.

Billy: Oh, well, from where I’m standing, kyle, you’re acting like a spoiled brat.

Kyle: Somehow, your opinion doesn’t mean much to me.

Billy: Do you have any idea what this is doing to your father? It’s tearing jack apart and you seem to be having fun with it.

Kyle: No, I’m not trying to hurt anyone, billy. You’re ignoring the other half of the scenario. That when I was forced out of marchetti in favor of summer, my father chose her over his own son.

Billy: It’s her company, kyle. She hired you to work with her. Why wouldn’t she get that in the divorce?

Kyle: Okay, you know what? My mistake. I don’t know why I would expect any understanding and sympathy from you.

Billy: Oh, okay. So, you feel slighted? Is that what this is about? Kyle, you’re spoiled, all right? You’re seeing this whole situation one way and that’s how it benefits you. As long as you’re happy, you don’t care who you hurt. Does that sound about right? Well?

Kyle: You’re right.

Billy: And what am I right about?

Kyle: All of it, actually. I have been being selfish and spoiled. And I’ve been acting entitled to a job that I haven’t earned.

Billy: Really?

Kyle: And you’re not wrong. I don’t want to be breaking my father’s heart. It kills me. It’s the last thing I want to do.

Billy: And you figured all that out just now?

Kyle: Mm-hmm. I did. So, guess what, billy? You win.

Nate: Victor was talking as if we’re still gonna merge kirsten and mccall with newman media? His condition seems to be getting worse.

Adam: Yeah. Well, I’m hoping that we can change that.

Nate: How?

Adam: I actually spoke to a specialist and there’s various treatable scenarios that could be causing his memory loss.

Nate: I didn’t realize you had taken that step.

Adam: Mm-hmm.

Nate: Does victoria know you’ve been talking to a doctor?

Adam: Yes, I informed her and nick.

Nate: And what were their thoughts?

Adam: Uh, they dismissed me. They made it clear they don’t want me anywhere near this. They think I have ulterior motives.

Nate: You can’t really be surprised.

Adam: Nope.

Nate: Still, that must have been hard to hear.

Adam: No, I’m used to it. You know, they have a version of me inside their head. But I can’t worry but I can’t worry about that right now. My focus has to be on my father.

Nate: I can talk to victoria if you want.

Adam: I know you guys have something special, but don’t give yourself too much credit on this. There’s nothing you could say to victoria that’s gonna change her mind about me. So, I’m gonna move forward without them. I’ll take care of victor on my own. Sorry.

[ Nick sighing ]

Nick: Thanks for letting me come up here. Talking about what’s going on with my dad in a public place can be awkward.

Sally: Yeah, of course. I understand. I’m really sorry for everything that you and your family are going through.

Nick: How much did adam tell you?

Sally: Just that victor’s been having some issues with his memory. Forgetting things and getting confused.

Nick: Yeah. Uh, we’ve been trying to keep it quiet. You know, whatever’s going on with my dad, we just want to deal with it as a family. I was hoping adam would be more discreet.

Sally: Even though you just told me about it yourself.

Nick: Yeah. Difference is, sally, I’m not looking for sympathy. I’m sure adam was.

[ Nick sighing ] I’m sorry. Can we just forget I said that? Sorry.

Sally: Look, adam just needed someone to talk to and I just happened to be there. But I will not say anything to anyone.

Nick: Okay. I hope you know, I’m not upset with you. It’s adam I’m mad at.

Sally: Well, it’s scary and stressful for all of you.

Nick: Uh, yeah, for some. Um, for others, they might see it as an opportunity.

Sally: If you mean adam, nick, I really don’t think that’s true. Okay, can we just not please talk about him? We’re here about you.

Nick: Truth is, I’m scared as hell for my dad.

Victor: Uh, who was just here? Was it nicholas or adam?

Nate: That was adam.

Victor: Right.

Nate: I overheard you talking to him about the kirsten, mccall, newman media merger. Saying it was still in the works.

Victor: Well, that’s not in the works anymore. I– I gave the company back to sharon.

Nate: Correct.

Victor: Did I say otherwise?

Nate: You did.

Victor: What’s happening to me?

Billy: Just like that, you’re– you’re not gonna come after my job.

Kyle: Yes.

Billy: Two seconds ago, you were ready to fight me for it, kyle.

Kyle: Yeah, and you wanted to make me feel bad about what I was putting my dad through. Well, congratulations. I do. I’m embarrassed. I mean, you want me to beat myself up some more for your entertainment? Come on, take the win, billy.

Billy: I’m just trying to figure out what you’re actually saying. Are you coming back to jabot, but as the coo?

Kyle: I am saying, I am no longer going to be A… now, what were your words? Oh, yeah, a spoiled brat. I need to accept the situation for what it is.

Billy: And how are you going to do that?

Kyle: Dad feels he needs to be loyal to you and that isn’t going to change. So look, I need to accept it.

Billy: No, you’re missing the point, okay? Because it’s not about loyalty. I earned my position and I’m doing a good job.

Kyle: Fine. Yes, you replaced me and everything is great without me. The point is I’m no longer gonna force the issue. In fact, I’m not gonna return to jabot.

[ Door shutting ]

Jack: What is this? What’s going on?

Ashley: I find it so amazing that you are this bitter and this angry that you can’t even give me a little peace of mind. I mean, really?

Tucker: I’m not angry. It’s just– I enjoy letting you think that I’m out to get you.

Ashley: You’re definitely still angry. Even though, I mean, how many times have I apologized to you about my part in our failed marriage? How many times?

Tucker: How many times did you make me apologize to you? How many times did you make me grovel at your feet? How many hoops did you make me jump through to win you back?

Ashley: Okay. All right. I don’t even know what I can say anymore.

Tucker: Did you ever really love me? Seriously? Or was this whole thing just a setup so you could eventually rip my guts out as a kind of revenge for whatever I did to you all those years ago?

Ashley: I loved you. Completely with my entire heart.

Tucker: Yeah, that entire cold, cruel heart. Gimme a break. You never felt anything for me.

Ashley: You’re saying this because I didn’t give you the life that you expected?

Tucker: Yeah. The life where we were partners. That belonged to just you and me. Where I was as important to you as you were to me.

Ashley: You wanted me to give up everything for you. You wanted me to give up my family, my father’s company, my identity. You wanted everything from me.

Tucker: Isn’t that what people do for the ones they love?

Ashley: No, I would never– look, I would never force you to choose between me and your family, but that’s the price I had to pay to be with you. And you know what? If you could just acknowledge, sincerely, how you treated me in paris was wrong, and it was bad and it was awful, then maybe we could find some way back from this.

Tucker: There is no way back.

Ashley: So, did you ever really love me?

Tucker: Well, you are playing this absolutely beautifully. I couldn’t have coached you any better. Brava.

Ashley: What are you talking about?

Tucker: You’ve got just enough remorse in your voice to make it believable, but not so much that I might get suspicious.

Ashley: And yet you are.

Tucker: Damn right, I am. I’m never going to be anything but suspicious of you from here on out. I– I’ve got no more trust in you. Congratulations, ashley. You’ve managed to push me away completely.

Ashley: You never answered my question. About loving me. I guess that’s my answer.

[ Tucker sobbing ]

Jack: Everything all right?

Billy: Kyle just had an interesting epiphany. Why don’t you go ahead and tell your dad what you just decided?

Kyle: Yeah, billy and I just had a frank discussion about my pursuit of the co-ceo role at jabot. He pointed out that I haven’t been fair to him, or to you. So in light of that, I have decided to head in another direction.

Jack: And what new direction would that be?

Kyle: I’ll let you know when I’m ready.

Billy: You got something lined up? Is that why you folded so easily?

Kyle: I had a feeling that dad would ultimately choose you. So, I made some inquiries, pursued other options. It sounds like a smart backup move, right?

Billy: Yeah, I suppose so.

Kyle: And dad, I owe you an apology. Um, I never should have put you in a position where you had to choose between me and billy. I’ve been acting selfish and entitled and I’ve been wrong and misguided to put that kind of pressure on you.

Jack: Well, I appreciate you saying that. I wish that also meant that you would reconsider the position of coo.

Kyle: You’d basically be creating a position for me as a consolation prize with nothing much to do.

Jack: I assure you that would not be the case.

Kyle: No, I think it would and I don’t want a position like that. I need something meaningful. So, I think it’s time for me to move on. To find myself elsewhere.

Jack: Fair enough. I wish that you could find yourself within the family, within jabot.

Nate: I think there’s something you deserve to know.

Victor: About my condition or what?

Nate: Adam confided in me that he had been speaking to a specialist about what’s been going on with you to get some advice.

Victor: He’s building a case against me. Don’t you see that? He wants to remove me as ceo.

Nate: I’m not sure that’s true.

Victor: Oh, yeah? What did I tell you? My kids are power grabbers. They’re after me. That’s what this is all about.

Nate: Look…

Victor: What?

Nate: I don’t want you to take this the wrong way. Given what’s been happening with you, the struggles you’ve been facing, maybe you need some distance from all of this.

Victor: What the hell does that mean?

Nate: I’m saying, just for the short term, maybe you should consider a leave of absence.

Victor: What?

Victor: I’m not going anywhere. That’s what they all want. This is my company.

Nate: Of course, it is.

Victor: And I need to maintain stability in this company, okay? If I left now, that would look like weakness.

Nate: We could cover it. Make up an excuse.

Victor: That would never work. The stability of newman enterprises is what matters most.

Nate: Your health is what matters most. And it’s being compromised with you being here.

Victor: Nate, I will not let adam or victoria steal my company from me.

Nate: Taking a leave of absence is a safe move. It will protect you, for now.

Victor: How do you figure?

Nate: It takes away any chance that adam could exploit a possibly worsening condition, while you’re in a position of control. And therefore, have the tools at his disposal to remove you permanently.

Victor: Let me ask you something. If I stepped down suddenly, what difference would it make? How can I find a way to beat this?

Sally: So, whatever’s going on with victor, you think it’s serious?

Nick: At this point, I just– I don’t know. But I know I hate the uncertainty.

Sally: Well, I told adam that I thought maybe he should be open with you and victoria about his concerns. Maybe the three of you can work together to help your father.

Nick: Yeah, I think your faith in us might be slightly misplaced.

Sally: You never know. A family crisis can sometimes bring people together.

Nick: With this family, it’s always a toss-up. But, whatever’s going on with my dad, we’ll make sure he gets the treatment he needs, no matter what.

Sally: I have no doubt.

Nick: I am surprised that adam brought this up to you. Makes me think…

Sally: What?

Nick: Well, uh, either my brother’s working you…

Sally: He’s sincere. Whether you want to believe it or not.

Nick: Well, then you and adam must be back on closer terms. Close enough to discuss something so private with you. I’ll take that as a yes.

[ Nick sighing ] Which means you took my advice. And you’re trying to figure out what your relationship to adam really means.

Kyle: Yeah, I need to do this, dad. Myself. I need to take these next steps on my own and see where things take me.

Jack: If this is what you need to do, I’ll find a way to accept it.

Kyle: It’s a way for me to pay my dues. You know, become a better kyle abbott. And who knows? Maybe it will ultimately lead me back to jabot. But I’m not ready to say that’s the case.

Jack: Fair enough. I wonder what changed your mind about replacing billy. You were pretty hell-bent on that.

Kyle: It was billy, actually. He threw it in my face, how self-righteous I’ve been.

Jack: Well, that’s pretty harsh, but perhaps deserved.

Kyle: It was a wake-up call.

Jack: Well, I’m glad you came to these conclusions.

Kyle: Yeah. I’m just sorry it took me so long.

Jack: I wish you’d give me at least a hint as to what these new possibilities are for you.

Kyle: Dad, when I have something more concrete in the works, you and mom will be the first ones to know. Thank you, billy, for helping me see things so clearly.

Billy: Don’t mention it.

Kyle: Yeah, I’ll see you both later. Bye, dad.

Jack: Son. How the hell did that just happen?

Billy: I don’t know.

Jack: I suppose I should be relieved that kyle has finally come to his senses.

Billy: Yeah. Look, jack, I don’t like saying this, but I don’t think he’s being sincere.

Billy: Kyle and I almost got into it at society and we decided to come here and hash it out. He admitted that he’s been coming after my job. I told him that I wasn’t going anywhere and that he was acting like an entitled jerk.

Jack: Yeah. I suppose a confrontation was inevitable.

Billy: It wasn’t fair to you, jack. Forcing you to choose between us.

Jack: And then he just saw the light?

Billy: Well, he defended himself for a minute and then he had a complete about-face.

Jack: Well, he claims that you convinced him. Why would you think he’d lie about that?

Billy: He’s been confrontational with you for weeks. For months even. Trying to get you to push me out.

Jack: Yeah, he’s been relentless about it.

Billy: Yeah. With no signs of backing down. Then I lay it out for him and he has a complete catharsis? It doesn’t add up to me.

Jack: Is it possible he’s just upset? Trying to save face with you and me?

Billy: Oh, I don’t think he’s lying about moving away from jabot. But it just doesn’T… I don’t know, it feels like he’s trying to throw us off.

Ashley: Who’s throwing you off?

Billy: Hey, ash.

Jack: Hey.

Ashley: Hey. Did you hear from tucker?

Billy: Why would we hear from tucker?

Jack: Yeah. What’s he done now?

Sally: I hope everything works out with your father. And I promise, I won’t say anything to anyone.

Nick: Thank you. I appreciate your discretion.

Sally: Of course. You have my word.

Adam: Hey.

Sally: Hi.

Nick: All right, I’ll leave you two to talk.

Adam: I– I– I actually, I need to speak with you for a moment.

Sally: I have a meeting to get to, so best of luck with everything.

Nick: What?

Adam: I just came from the office and dad had another one of his moments.

Nick: What was it this time?

Adam: He was talking about merging kirsten and newman media. Okay, we cannot sit here and keep talking about this. You, victoria, and I, we have to take some action. And we have to do what we can to figure out exactly what is going on with him.

Nick: Yeah, I don’t think so, adam. Because I can’t ever trust that you have our father’s best interests at heart.

Nate: I can’t make any promises, but the sooner you receive medical attention, the better chance we will have to know whether we could stop this before it gets worse.

Victor: Worse?

Nate: You’ll need testing to get to the root of what’s going on. That’s the only way to ascertain if the condition can be reversed or at least treated.

Victor: And you can make this happen?

Nate: I heard back from a medical contact. Arrangements can be made.

Victor: To put me away?

Nate: No, victor. Medical assistance, voluntary treatment and only for a few days. A few weeks at the most. Just enough time to assess the situation thoroughly.

Victor: So, what will be the cover story?

Nate: An extended business trip as you have many times before.

Victor: Hm.

Nate: But it’s your call, victor. You’re a man of action. And this is the way to handle your condition head on.

Adam: Look, I understand that you don’t trust me. How you probably hate my guts at this point.

Nick: Can you blame me?

Adam: Do you really think I don’t care about our father’s health? That I– that I wouldn’t do something to fix it?

Nick: Well, you’re you, adam, and that’s all that matters. The only thing you care about is what you want and what you feel like you need.

Adam: Okay. Well, not in this case.

Nick: You messed with our father’s medication when he was sick. Do you remember that?

Adam: That was a dark moment for me.

Nick: Well, you’ve had a lot of those. More than you can actually count.

Adam: I did not want to kill our father, okay?

Nick: Well, that is nice to know. It’s really comforting.

Adam: Okay, look. You want to focus on the past. I’m trying to help our father. Now, I’ve arranged for him to meet with me here for drinks and the specialist that I talked about is gonna casually stop by.

Nick: You’re gonna ambush our father with some random doctor? That’s a smart move.

Adam: It’s better than nothing. Now, I’m going to steer the conversation, uh, in a place where the doctor can observe and he can do an initial assessment.

Nick: And you don’t think our father’s gonna pick up on that?

Adam: Nicholas, I hope he picks up on that. That means he’s still victor newman. That maybe he just needs some rest or some vitamins or whatever. But if he doesn’t pick up on it, that means it’s just another symptom.

Nick: Yeah, I don’t like it.

Adam: Will you just give this a shot? Okay? Sit down with dad and me. You can observe firsthand. Just let it play out until we know something, one way or another.

Nick: Okay. Sure. I’m in.

Ashley: Well, I just came from seeing tucker, so I thought maybe he reached out to you.

Jack: Actually, we were just talking about kyle.

Billy: Yeah, just to fill you in. Kyle has been trying to get jack to kick me to the curb so he could take over the co-ceo position. I confronted him about it and ultimately, he backed down.

Ashley: Well, that’s good, I guess.

Billy: Gee, thanks.

Ashley: I’m saying I can’t believe that he would put you in that position to choose between your brother and your son. That wasn’t fair of kyle.

Jack: No, that’s definitely not like him.

Ashley: Right. Well, since he backed away from it, why is it throwing you off?

Billy: His turnabout seemed a little, uh, you know, abrupt to me.

Ashley: Well, couldn’t he have realized that he was wrong? It happens.

Jack: Is that the way you felt when you saw tucker?

Billy: Yeah. What’s going on? Did you find out anything more about his plans?

Ashley: He doesn’t trust me.

Billy: Well, he’s got a scheme in mind. There’s no doubt about that.

Jack: It is not like tucker to walk away gracefully.

Billy: You know, ironically, the closest person to tucker right now is kyle because of his relationship with audra. I don’t think I told you this, jack, but I– I asked kyle if he would, you know, use audra to spy on tucker for us a while back.

Jack: When was this?

Billy: It– it was a while ago.

Jack: You didn’t think it was important to tell me?

Billy: It was a spur of the moment and, uh, you know, kyle refused to use audra in order to spy on tucker for our benefit.

Ashley: Wow. Maybe he was being loyal to his girlfriend?

Billy: I told him that the company and the family was on the line and he still refused. Look, I don’t think kyle is really too concerned about us or the company. I think he’s watching out for himself.

Jack: Now kyle, I know, feels rejected and disrespected and wants to prove me wrong for not giving him what he wants.

Billy: I don’t know, maybe there’s a connection here that we’re missing.

Ashley: What’s that?

Billy: Tucker is coming after jabot, which we all ultimately think he’s doing. He’s gonna need someone on the inside. Kyle is feeling boxed in, ultimately think he’s doing. He’s gonna need someone on the inside. Kyle is feeling boxed in, knowing that he’s not going to get what he ultimately wants.

Jack: I don’t like where this is going.

Billy: Well, neither do I. But I think tucker may have got his claws into kyle and turned your son against us.

[ Knocking on door ]

Tucker: Hey.

Kyle: Hey, I got your text. You wanted to see me?

Tucker: Yeah, it’s time you prove yourself to me. Show me you’re ready to take the next step.

Kyle: I’m ready. I won’t let you down.

Announcer: Next week on the young and the restless…

Mariah: Ever since aria got fitted for her hearing aids, we’ve been waiting on pins and needles for them to come in.

Tessa: And now that they’re here and aria can have them put in…

Mariah: We’re terrified.

Victor: The time has come to tell you all the truth.

Nina: The hospital. This is nina webster. Yes, I’m his mother. How bad is it?
