Michael tells Lauren that Phyllis came by for a surprise visit before she arrived, so Lauren wants to know everything Phyllis told Michael. Lauren is confident Michael can get Phyllis out of trouble and Phyllis will get a fresh start to her life. Lauren and Michael have a romantic evening together that Michael worked so hard to plan.
Summer finally tells Nick, Phyllis faked her own death and that Phyllis killed Jeremy Stark in self-defense. Summer also tells Nick that her marriage is in trouble because she protected Phyllis.
