Daniel: I can’t tell you how great it was to see you spending the holiday together. It’s — it’s just what I needed.

Danny: It meant a lot to me, too. Before I go, a little fatherly observation.

Daniel: Lay it on me.

Danny: You’re going through a really tough time with heather and lucy. But you owned your mistakes. You realized you had to pull yourself together. And I think, now focusing on your daughter, that’ll help carry you through. And I say this from personal experience, I think, because the most powerful motivator of all is the desire to do right by your child.

Daniel: There’s nothing i wouldn’t do for lucy.

Danny: I’m proud of you. Not just for what you’re doing but for the man you’re determined to be.

Daniel: Thank you. You know, no one inspires me the way you do. And I am very excited that we’re gonna be working together.

Danny: The feeling is mutual.

Daniel: [ Chuckles ] Can’t wait to hear what you come up with for my “finding princess louisa” game.

Danny: And I can’t wait to hear it myself.

Daniel: Mm.

Danny: I’m gonna get back and I’m gonna start recording right away. Now, listen, I welcome any notes you might have. I mean, I may be the musician, but this is your show.

Daniel: I appreciate that. Something tells me it’s gonna be a great collaboration. Communication is key, right?

Danny: Right. Glad to hear you say that, because there’s something I need from you.

Daniel: Yeah. Name it.

Danny: Promise me that you won’t bottle up your feelings when it comes to your family again. Right? You call me. Better yet, just come visit. I’m always there for you.

Daniel: You have my word.

Daniel: You have got a lot of work to do, and I’ve got to hit the road soon, so I’m not gonna say goodbye. Just…see you soon? Come here. I love you, daniel.

Daniel: I love you, too, dad.

Danny: [ Sighs ]

[ Sniffles ]

Daniel: [ Sighs ]

Danny: [ Sighs ]

Mariah: I cannot believe that this is happening.

Tessa: Want me to show you the plane tickets again?

Mariah: Thank you for getting on that, by the way.

Tessa: Good thing I booked everything, ’cause we will be flying out in a few short hours.

Mariah: And then, tomorrow, we will meet delphine face-to-face and show her why we are the ideal parents to adopt her baby.

Sharon: Well, I am so glad she got back in touch with you, even though I know it took longer than you expected.

Mariah: I know that I’m not supposed to let my feelings run away with me, but I’m just gonna say it. Meeting this woman tomorrow could change our lives.

[ Door opens ]

[ Footsteps approaching ]

Christine: Danny.

Danny: Cricket?

[ Chuckles ]

Nate: That takes care of the updates to our development slate. Next up, social-media campaigns. I know nick had some thoughts on the budget, if you’d prefer to wait until he’s available.

Victoria: Oh, he knew we were meeting, and he chose not to come, so I’m not inclined to accommodate his personal schedule.

Nate: Look, uh, I don’t mean to overstep, but I know nick wasn’t too thrilled when you hired me. I’m sure he would have preferred to keep sally in this position.

Victoria: Well, none of that matters. It was not his decision to make.

Nate: Even so, is my being here causing conflict between you two? And if so, is there anything I can do to help?

Lily: Nick. Happy new year.

Nick: You too. It’s great to see you.

Lily: How was your holiday?

Nick: Pretty great, actually. How was yours?

Lily: Uh, it was fine. Just, you know, kept it low-key.

Nick: I was just wrapping up a lunch meeting here. Are you meeting someone right now, or do you have a minute to talk?

Lily: Um, yeah, sure. What’s, uh, on your mind?

Nick: Well, I was hoping we could finally get a chance to talk about nate joining newman media. Like chancellor-winters, newman is a family-run business. It can be volatile at times, working so closely with the people who can push your buttons the most. They can say that it’s just business, but it’s difficult to not take it personally sometimes. I guess what I’m trying to get at is, I wanted to apologize specifically to you on behalf of newman enterprises if it had any part whatsoever in your family’s conflict.

[ Door closes ]

Chelsea: I didn’t expect to see you.

Billy: Uh, yeah, I have some important business.

Chelsea: Oh?

Billy: I want to find out how connor’s project went at school.

Chelsea: Well, connor’s not home yet.

Billy: Oh. Right.

Chelsea: But I highly doubt that’s the real reason you’re here.

provided by… doesn’t your family deserve the best?

Christine: I knew you were in town. I just didn’t know if we’d cross paths.

Danny: Talk about timing. I was just about to call you.

Christine: You were?

Danny: I wasn’t sure if you were still away. And I — I just wanted to at least say hello.

Christine: Well, [Chuckles] Paul and I got back last night. How long are you staying?

Danny: I leave today.

Christine: Uh…

Christine: Um, I’m — I’m meeting sharon’s daughter, mariah, and her wife, tessa. They’re adopting a child. I’m helping them navigate the process.

Danny: Oh, that sounds incredibly rewarding.

Christine: Yeah, they’re great, and they’re gonna be amazing parents. Mariah and tessa have a tremendous amount to offer a child.

Danny: Plus, any kid would be lucky to have sharon as a grandmother.

Christine: [ Chuckles ] Yeah, well, times like these, I’m glad I became a lawyer.

Danny: I entertain people for a couple hours, and you transform their lives.

Christine: Yeah. On a good day.

Danny: Yeah. Well, I, um — I don’t want to hold you up, so I…

Christine: I-if you don’t have to rush off, I don’t have to be anywhere afterwards.

Danny: I’ll be here when you’re done.

Christine: Okay.

Lily: Thank you. I really appreciate you saying that, because, yes, it was very shocking how everything went down.

Nick: Yeah, I was, uh, shocked, as well.

Lily: I mean, look, devon and I have no proof that it was newman that was trying to take over chancellor-winters or that it was victoria who was getting information from nate. But I think we all know what happened. And then, of course, you know, nate is now rewarded with a top spot at newman media.

Nick: [ Sighs ] I cannot confirm any of that.

Lily: Wow. You’re not denying it either. Look, I understand why you can’t say anything, but I can clearly tell that you had no part in it. And I thank you for that. Because, yes, it was a painful issue during a complicated time. A lot of people I thought I could rely on have let me down. But, um, you know, I roll with it because I have to. But it doesn’t change how much it hurts.

Nick: Are we talking about nate… or billy?

Billy: I’m not sure why you would doubt me. I’m deeply invested in the success of connor’s contraption. Never thought I’d care whether an egg would break or not, but I do.

Chelsea: Would you stop? I know something’s wrong.

Billy: I’m not sure why you would think that.

Chelsea: Well, for starters, you showed up, alone, downstairs on new year’s eve when you should have been with lily. There was a sadness in your eyes. It’s there now, too. So please stop pretending everything’s okay, when clearly it’s not.

Billy: I didn’t come here to burden you with my problems, chelsea.

Chelsea: Billy, you are not a burden after everything you’ve done for me. This can’t be a one-sided friendship. You have to be able to talk to me, or else I’m gonna feel like a pity case you only hang out with ’cause you feel sorry for me.

Billy: I don’t think that way about you.

Chelsea: I’m not gonna fall apart because you share your problems with me. Okay? Come on, I mean, you keep insisting that I’m — I’m so tough, I’m so strong. So let me support you the way you’ve been supporting me.

Billy: [ Sighs ] Okay, fine, since you insist. Lily thinks we might be done.

[ Inhales deeply ] Hey… it’s me! Your dry skin!

Victoria: You are a huge asset to this company. Full stop. Nothing beyond that matters.

Nate: I appreciate you saying that.

Victoria: Well, I’m simply stating the truth. And as far as nicholas goes, he shouldn’t be a problem, unless has he treated you unprofessionally since you had that prickly conversation when you first started? Or has he implied that he doesn’t want to work with you, moving forward?

Nate: No, no, not at all.

Victoria: That’s good. You know, I’m glad that my brother is back at the company. But when I put you at the helm of newman media, he should have stepped back. He shouldn’t have blended his work life and his personal life. But instead, he let his feelings overcome his objectivity.

Nate: Yeah. Kind of like devon and me. We each fell victim to the same mistake. But I won’t repeat that here.

Victoria: I know. I have utter confidence in you, nate.

Nate: And you and nick?

Victoria: We love and respect each other. We’re not always gonna be on the same page, but we will manage to get through this disagreement. We always do. We always have each other’s backs when it really matters.

Nate: Good. I’m glad we discussed this. Is there anything else on your mind? Something that’s bothering you?

Victoria: Why would you think that?

Nate: Well, I feel like I’ve gotten to know you pretty well, and you haven’t seemed like your usual self since you walked in here. Would you like to talk about it?

Victoria: [ Gasps ]

Nate: Uh, tell you what. Let’s clock out for a bit. I can grab us two coffees from the break room, then the personal won’t encroach on the business.

Victoria: Okay, I’d like that.

Nate: [ Chuckles ]

Christine: I’ve spoken with the birth mom’s representative. Delphine has considered other couples. She’s doing her due diligence, but she hasn’t responded to anyone as enthusiastically as she did to your profile and that lovely letter you wrote.

Tessa: You are doing a lot of writing from now on.

Mariah: Well, hopefully, if everything falls into place, we won’t have to send another one.

Sharon: I love how you’ve made it a joint effort. You two make a great team.

Christine: And I second that. So, did I understand the voicemail right? Is tomorrow the day you’ll be in delphine’s hometown? Your first get-together?

Mariah: Yeah. My stomach is doing flip-flops all over the place.

Tessa: Yeah. I mean, yes, we all agree that this is just a meet-and-greet. It’s very casual, but, I mean, it’s so much more than that.

Tessa: Try, the most important interview of our entire lives. There’s so much at stake. We have to make a flawless first impression.

Tessa: I mean, this woman is deciding whether to entrust her baby to us. I mean, she’s gonna have a million questions.

Mariah: Who we are as a couple, where do we live, how are we planning to raise the child, because we both have demanding careers. And even if we nail all of the questions and delphine likes us, if there’s no chemistry, if we don’t form an emotional connection, then that’s it. And we’re back at square one.

Tessa: And it’s easy to say that we would be prepared for that, and that we’re managing our expectations, but in reality, it would hurt.

Christine: Just don’t get ahead of yourselves.

Sharon: Yeah, christine’s right. Remember what we talked about from the very beginning. Adoption is a process, it’s not an event. You need to take things one step at a time, right?

Christine: And just be yourselves. Answer her questions as honestly as you can, and maybe go there prepared with a few questions to ask her, so you feel like you’re on equal footing.

Sharon: That’s excellent advice.

Christine: Above all, speak from the heart, okay? Help her understand how strong your relationship is and what an amazing and loving, stable home you can provide with an incredibly supportive, extended family. You know, paint a picture of who you are and what life would be like together with the baby.

Danny: I’m danny romalotti.

Christine: I can’t believe it. It’s really you.

Danny: Well, you know, uh, I could say the same thing. I mean, you’re pretty much a very big celebrity in this town.

Christine: But not like you.

Danny: Are you kidding? Those jabot junior ads are my favorite.

Christine: You mean that?

Danny: Of course I mean it. What do you say we get better acquainted over a soda?

Christine: [ Chuckles ] Well, sure, I’d love to.

Danny: I don’t know how long I’ve loved you.

Christine: You don’t?

Danny: No. I was trying to remember the first time, the first day, the first moment I realized I was in love with you. And I can’T. I can’t, because I’ve always been in love with you.

[ Waves crashing ] I can’t imagine my life without you. I don’t even want to try.

Christine: I don’t either.

Danny: You’re really nervous, aren’t you?

Christine: A little. But I figure, hey, it’s a joint effort. Any screwups and you take half the blame.

Danny: Well, that’s what husbands are for, dear.

Christine: Well, no matter what happens, I know one thing’s for sure. I’m happier than I ever imagined.

Danny: So am I. It’s pretty sickening, isn’t it?

Christine: Completely.

Danny: Mmm.

[ Soft music plays ]

Danny: It was the last thing I expected to do.

Christine: What, destroy our marriage vows?

Danny: I paid for it.

Christine: No, danny, I paid. Your little slip turned into quite a fall, didn’t it? An innocent little backstage party. You got to drinking. And I bet phyllis was right there refilling your glass. Then, before you know it, off to bed. Well, now the two of you have a child together, and you’re stuck with her. And believe me, from everything I have seen of phyllis, the word “stuck” really fits.

Christine: Are you okay?

Danny: You know, some good has come of the past few months that you and paul have been apart. I realize how much he means to you.

Christine: He’s changed my life, danny. And I love him.

Danny: And he loves you.

[ Soft music plays ] I wish you the best.

Christine: Thank you.

Danny: All I’ve ever wanted was for you to be happy.

Danny: [ Sighs ]

[Coughing]

Victoria: You know, as much as I love being a mom — i really do — there are, you know, certain challenges that come up.

Nate: I have yet to be a parent. However, I was a child once and vividly remember some of my more colorful years.

Victoria: [ Chuckles ] I’ve already been through all of this with my older son, reed. I had some pretty turbulent times with him, but he’s doing good now. I mean, we’re in a really good place.

Nate: Good to hear.

Victoria: Meanwhile, [Sighs] Johnny is at that stage where it’s natural for him to want to pull away. But there are just these other complicated factors.

Nate: How complicated are we talking?

Victoria: Extremely complicated. And the situation — it’s a lot tougher than I ever anticipated it would be.

Chelsea: Billy, you have to fix things with lily. I am so sorry for taking up so much of your time, but it’s a terrible price you have to pay for helping me.

Billy: Chelsea, that’s not what this is.

Chelsea: This is what you’re gonna do. You go to lily, you bring her a ton of flowers or — or, um, you play her her favorite song on your phone — anything to help make her listen.

Billy: Stop, please. Okay? This is not about me spending too much time with you.

Chelsea: Are you sure about that?

Billy: I am sure about that. It’s actually the one thing we agree on. And I knew that’s what your assumption would be, which is why I didn’t want to bring it up in the first place. So can you please just get that out of your head?

Chelsea: [ Sighs ] So, what happened? Why would lily want to call it quits?

Billy: Because of me. Because of who I am, you know? I’m self-centered and I’m restless, and it’s the same reason why I quit the podcast, ’cause I thought I needed to focus on my corporate gig. But that didn’t work either. I’m just constantly in need of the next best thing, the next — next thing that’s gonna give me a rush to make me feel alive. It’s — it’s, you know — it’s who I am. It’s my track record. I am less than an ideal long-term partner.

Chelsea: I’m not gonna let you talk like this. Tearing yourself down. There is so much more to you. There’s a reason lily loves you so much, and you love her. You two are great together. Are you really willing to just give up?

Lily: Why would you ask about billy?

Nick: You didn’t bring up his name when I asked you about your holidays. I know he recently quit as your ceo. You know, billy was my brother-in-law. I had a front-row seat to his and victoria’s relationship, so I have a pretty good sense of what it must be like and how challenging it is to get involved with someone like him.

Lily: Hmm. Yeah, I suppose you do know him pretty well.

Nick: So, uh, I’m more than willing to give you my perspective if you want. I could also just sit here and listen, because I get the feeling a friendly ear is what you could use right now.

Mariah: We know that this trip might not turn out like we hope. We know that it could not lead to us getting a child. We’re aware of everything that could go wrong.

Tessa: Because some of them have already.

Mariah: Yeah, exactly. But each step we take in this new journey, I think that eventually it’s gonna lead to our baby.

Christine: [ Sighs ] Well, I wish you the best.

[ Chuckles ] Let me know how it goes.

Tessa: We will.

Mariah: Yeah.

Sharon: You better get packed up. You don’t want to miss your flight.

Mariah: Yes. We have to get moving.

Tessa: Well, we will be in touch.

Christine: Alright.

Mariah: Alright. Bye.

Tessa: I’ll see you.

Christine: Bye.

Sharon: [ Sighs ] Thank you so much for shepherding them through this.

Christine: It is one of my favorite parts of the job — creating new families.

Sharon: Yeah. I remember that well.

Christine: Yeah. I mean, now it’s up to them and the prospective birth mom.

Sharon: I’ll be on pins and needles the whole time.

Christine: I know, waiting is the hardest part, for sure.

Sharon: I’m gonna get some work done, try to do anything to distract myself. Can I get you something?

Christine: No, no, no, I’m fine, but thank you.

Sharon: You’re welcome.

Christine: Thanks for waiting.

Danny: It was worth it to have some time with you. Flu symptoms hit harder than the common cold.

“The young and the restless”

will continue. Dry skin is sensitive skin, too.

Danny: I assume that you’re still glad to be in private practice.

Christine: Yeah. I like taking on cases that are meaningful to me. I mostly do pro bono work.

Danny: Putting good out into the world.

Christine: [ Chuckles ] Where I can.

Danny: Some things never change.

Christine: Well, like you and your flourishing career. Come on. Still making music and selling out shows?

Danny: I’ve been fortunate, to say the least. I’m — I’m really blessed to have some amazing fans.

Christine: Are you still enjoying touring as much as ever?

Danny: Yes, um, but it does have its downsides. I — I get it now, why being on the road so long isn’t for everyone. But I do enjoy traveling the world and visiting some of my favorite places, seeing new ones, meeting people. And gina flies out on occasions and, yeah, we get her onstage. She does a couple songs. Yeah, that’s always the best.

Christine: Gina’s doing well?

Danny: Yeah, she’s great. I spent thanksgiving with her, and christmas and new year’s with daniel, and, yeah, it’s — it’s turned out to be a really wonderful holiday season for me. I assume you know daniel’s back in town.

Christine: Yeah, I-I do. I haven’t seen him. Paul and I found out what happened from heather. So, you know, we’re just hoping that she and lucy and — and daniel are okay.

Danny: Yeah, so am I. Phyllis and I, we’ve been, you know, rallying around him and, yeah…

Christine: I know. I saw the photo. She tagged you, and that’s how I knew you were in town.

[ Chuckles ] Genoa city’s very own rock star returns for a limited time only, glad to spend time with the people he loves most.

Danny: Social media at its finest.

Christine: For daniel’s sake, I’m glad you’re all together. I just hadn’t realized that you and phyllis had stayed in such close touch over the years.

Billy: Look, it’s not like i just put my hands up and said, “okay, fine, we’re done. No problem,” alright? It’s not — not at all what I did, and I want to — I want to work on this, but I — it’s just not enough.

Chelsea: Okay, listen. You always want to paint yourself as this screwup who’s destined to fail. And right now, I’m sure you’re feeling a little defeated and maybe a little scared. But you are strong and you are loyal. And you are relentless when you want something. So go make this right.

Billy: I would love to. I really would, believe me. But I don’T… look, lily was very calm and rational when she laid out the reasons why we should take some time apart. And you know just as well as i do, you start having that conversation about taking a break, 9 times out of 10, it’s done. That is someone trying to let you down easy instead of making you feel like you just got dumped.

Chelsea: You don’t know that. Stop trying to convince yourself that you do.

[ Sighs ] What you need to do right now is go find lily right away and very calmly and rationally lay out all the reasons that you need to stay together. But not too calm. Hold your ground. Be as passionate and sincere as you know how to be. You helped me get my second chance. Now it’s time for you to go get yours.

Lily: Thank you for the offer, but I won’t be needing your ear, no matter how friendly it might be.

Nick: Fair enough. I got to get out of here anyway.

Lily: Well, I’m glad that we had a chance to chat.

Nick: Me too. Before I go, I just wanted to tell you how impressed I am with what you’ve done with chancellor-winters. Lily, you lead with integrity and dignity. And it’s not always easy to do in this business world we live in. I’m impressed. I’m proud of you.

Lily: Thank you. Thank you. That, um — that really means a lot coming from you.

Nick: Well, I think that there isn’t anything you can’t conquer. And I wish you all the best in the new year.

Lily: Same to you. Bye.

[ Cellphone chimes ]

Billy: Can we meet? Your heart is the beat of life.

Danny: I wouldn’t say that phyllis and I are close. We’re more like teammates — you know, co-parents, grandparents. But you know how phyllis is. She always has to put a spin on things, making things appear shinier and brighter than they actually are.

Christine: Yeah, she always had an extraordinary talent for deceit and fabrication. We first saw that when she set her sights on you and injected herself into our lives.

Danny: I often… wonder… what my world might be like if phyllis summers had never been a part of my story. But then… I wouldn’t have daniel and lucy, and — and they’ve brought, um, such immense joy.

Christine: I know, you had to find a way to coexist with phyllis. I’m glad you got to that point.

Danny: It wasn’t easy.

Christine: I know.

Danny: Yeah.

Christine: Still, I will never forgive or forget what she did. Even after we were no longer together, she just kept coming after me. She literally almost cost me my life.

Danny: [ Sighs ] Hey, hey. I’m sorry for all the pain that phyllis caused you.

Christine: It’s not your fault. You were a victim, too. And look, we did our best to try and deal with the fallout of her actions.

[ Sighs ] I’m just glad we were able to — to move on and find happiness,

[Sighs] Even if we didn’t find it together.

Danny: [ Sighs ] Last time we saw each other, I-I, uh — I think it was, um, at your wedding.

Christine: Yeah.

Danny: You and paul are going on, what, 10 years now?

Christine: Yeah. Good — good memory.

Danny: The big-time lawyer and the chief of police, one of genoa city’s power couples.

[ Chuckles ]

Christine: I don’t know about that, given the players in this town.

Danny: But you guys are good, right? I mean…

Christine: Yeah, we’re — we’re really good.

Danny: I know that you and paul always had this deep connection and you know…

[ Chuckles ] I — I’m — I’m really happy that things are going well for you. I am.

Christine: Oh, is there someone special in your life?

Danny: Uh… wow. Um, yeah, I, um…

[Clears throat] Yeah, I’ve been seeing someone. It’s, uh — it’s, you know — it’s casual. I mean, you know, given my schedule, I — I don’t really know where it’s going. I guess time will tell, but, uh, I guess my life is full right now. But there’s always room for a dear friend.

[ Sighs ]

Nate: I’m not going to ask you about the details, but I can tell you from my own personal experience that your son will always love, admire, and respect you, even if he doesn’t always show it.

Victoria: Well, that’s a very nice sentiment, but you can’t know that for sure.

Nate: Actually, I can, because I know you. You’re understanding, forgiving. And you never miss a trick.

[ Chuckles ] Now, johnny might not be too thrilled about that last part for the next few years, but he’ll know he can trust you to be his compass no matter what. That is a gift.

Victoria: [ Sighs ] Well, let me see. When you put it that way…

[ Chuckles ]

Nate: So give the young man some space. Not so much that you start feeling anxious about what’s going on with him, but enough to give him some independence and feel trusted. Assuming you don’t have a reason to not trust him.

Victoria: That’s not the problem.

Nate: Okay. Well, then, giving him some space may be the best way to keep him from drifting too far away.

Victoria: Thank you. Thank you for this. It helped.

Nate: Anytime.

Billy: [ Sighing ]

Billy: Hi.

Lily: Hi.

Billy: I know we’re supposed to give each other some breathing room, but I really wanted to see you. Thanks for coming.

Lily: Yeah, yeah. Um, what’s this about?

Billy: Well, um, I know you’re busy, so I’ll just get straight to the point. We may be struggling badly, but I feel like our relationship is worth saving. And I want you to know that I’m gonna fight for you. For us. For everything that we have. I get bladder leaks.

Christine: We do need to stay in better touch.

Danny: Absolutely do.

Christine: Well, maybe paul and I can come to one of your concerts the next time you’re in town.

Danny: That’s funny you’d say that. I, uh — I have a concert tour date in chicago later in the year, and I already promised tickets to traci, lauren, and michael. We could, uh, make it a party?

Christine: Yeah. Sounds like a plan.

Danny: [ Sighs ] I got to get going, or I’m gonna miss my flight. I just wish we had more time.

Christine: [ Chuckles ] Is that your way of asking me to take you to the airport?

Danny: Well, I would never want to impose. But you did say you were free. And I — I feel there’s so much more to talk about.

Christine: So do I.

[ Sighs ] Looks like you’ve got yourself a ride.

[ Cellphone chimes ]

Connor: Pizza this week with johnny?

Chelsea: Connor just asked…

[ Cellphone chimes ]

Chelsea: Can I take johnny and connor for pizza one night this week?

Victoria: [ Sighs ]

Victoria: Johnny has too much homework. Sure. We’ll find a night that works for all.

Billy: I know I let you down. And our problems are more about my shortcomings than they are about us as a couple.

[ Sighs ] And I’m asking you for one more chance.

Lily: [ Sighs ] Anyway, I told you how I felt. You didn’t even put in the effort into trying to make things better. And I mean, that really hurt me. You know, it made me feel like my feelings didn’t matter to you.

Billy: I messed up, lily. And… I’m so sorry. And I’m going to do whatever it takes. I’ll go to couples therapy. I’ll go today. I’ll make an appointment today. Okay? I’ll do whatever I need to do, because I — I want to fight for our relationship. I want you with all my heart. We have come so far. We’ve been through so much. We can’t stop trying now.

Lily: [ Sighs ] You’re right.

[ Chuckles ] We owe it to ourselves to keep trying.

[ Sighs ]

Billy: [ Sighs ]

Lily: [ Sighs ]
