Eric: Our marriage is over, quinn, but– but what you have with carter doesn’t have to be.
Quinn: He’s getting married to paris right now as we speak.
Eric: Not if you hurry.
[ “Here comes the bride”]
Charlie: Dearly beloved. I love saying that word, “beloved.” It, uh– now I know why you like doing these things, I mean, it makes you feel kind of powerful, right? I’ll try to do you proud.
Carter: You already are.
Charlie: So I’m sure some of you are wondering what the heck is charlie webber, head of forrester security, doing up here? Well, I’m taking time off from my official duties to help out a friend. And carter, it is my sincere pleasure to help you do this. And you too, ms. Buckingham. Future mrs. Coo. So welcome all, to the wedding of paris buckingham and carter walton.
Eric: We had a wonderful marriage.
Quinn: We did.
Eric: We were meant to be together, but there’s no going back now. There’s still time for you and carter, though. He’s getting married right now. Just down the beach. You can stop him. Quinn. Go.
Quinn: I have to go. I’ve gotta stop a wedding.
Charlie: Before we proceed, there is a little bit of unpleasantness we have to get out of the way. Is there anyone present who has reason to believe that carter and paris should not be married? Any objections at all? If so, speak now. Or, as they say, forever hold your peace.
Donna: Eric? I, uhm, saw quinn, running out. I– are you okay?
Quinn: Hey! Hello? Valet! Come on! Okay.
[ Door rattling] Come on! Yes, always works in the movies.
[ Pin rattling ] That doesn’t work! Hey! Ah, oh. Shoot! Okay. And now please welcome ana montoya.
Donna: Eric. Are you sure about this? It– it’s definitely over between you and quinn?
Eric: Just aout as definite as it can get. But you knew that. I told you that before she came in. I’m ready for this. I’m ready for us.
Donna: I am too, I– I mean, I have been for– for an embarrassingly long time.
Eric: I’m glad I caught up.
Donna: Yes. And I– I’m glad that quinn didn’t– didn’t come after me on the way out there.
Eric: So am I. But she was more– she was upset, but– but, more hurt, and angry, yeah. But she has other things on her mind. Like stopping a wedding.
Donna: What? Uh, I– I saw quinn running out on–
Eric: Yeah, I never doubted her love for me, I never did, but– from the moment she had this affair with carter, I knew that she was falling in love with him. He’s at il giardino right now, down the beach. Getting ready to get married, and– and I just hope, I hope she gets there in time to stop it. I hope she gets there in time to tell him what she feels.
Quinn: Ow! Okay, okay.
[ Phone ringing ]
Quinn: Ugh! Carter, I– I know, I know you probably don’t have your phone with you, because you’re getting married. You’re getting married to pa–
Man: Hey!
Quinn: Sorry! You’re getting married to paris. But please, carter, don’t marry paris. I have to tell you what happened. Something huge just happened. Just do me a favor. Just check your phone, it changes everything, and I need you to just call me. So don’t marry her, call me.
Host: Ma’am.
Quinn: Huh?
Host: Do you want to take out a bike?
Quinn: Bike? Yes. I wanna take out a bike.
Host: Then can I just have your name?
Quinn: Uh, my name is, uh, ooh! Charge it to eric forrester.
[ Bike bell ringing ]
Charlie: Well, seeing and hearing no objections. Not that I expected to. We may proceed. Hope, the floor is yours.
Hope: Thank you, charlie. And thank you to paris and carter for asking me to speak here today, in this moment, this, um, rather unexpected moment for most of us, I believe, but, that’s the beautiful thing about love. It can be rather mysterious, and unexpected, and you might not even notice it at first, when it sneaks up on you. But when it hits you, when you realize that you’ve met the person that you can’t stop thinking about, that feels impossible to be without, then you have to go for it. When true love arrives, you know. And I think I not only speak for myself, but for all of us here today to say that we are thrilled that you have found that within each other. Charlie: Yeah. Well, uh, you– you know, I’ve got an agenda here, ridge, I’m trying to run a tight ship, okay?
Ridge: I get that, charlie, but uh, it– it’s only going to take a second.
Charlie: Okay, fine.
Ridge: I wasn’t going to say anything, but I kind of feel like I need to. We’ve been friends for a long time.
Carter: Very long time. You know me better than just about anyone.
Ridge: Probably do. I know who you are. You’re strong, you ‘re solid. Methodical. Not impulsive. Never been impulsive until now. This is– this is impulsive. And if you’re going to do that, I guess you should do it with a– with a beautiful, amazing woman like paris. She’s charmed all of us. She’s a– she’s a great asset to forrester. And she deserves… what did you say earlier? True love? You’ll know it, right, when it–? Yeah. We all deserve that. That’s what I was thinking. We need someone that’ll love us, completely. We all deserve that. We shouldn’t settle for anything else.
Carter: Thank you, ridge. Your friendship, your loyalty, it, uh, it means a lot.
Charlie: Yeah– thank you, uh, ridge. Where did I lose control here?
[ Paris laughing ] Where was I? I– uh. Oh, prayer. Uh, let us bow our heads.

Charlie: Carter and paris have written their own vows, which they will make to each other now. Paris. Would you like to begin?
Paris: Oh, well, I didn’t really have anything written. I thought I’d just speak from the heart.
[ Exhaling ] Oh, boy. I– I’m not a nervous person, until now. Okay, I’ve heard a lot about how this wedding is happening very fast. Believe me, I was surprised too. This all is very unexpected. But I’d fallen for you. I mean, how could I not? You’re this attractive, confident, magnificent man. And did I mention attractive?
[ Carter chuckling ] I knew I wanted to be here with you. And I wasn’t even thinking about marriage until you proposed. Oh, my god. You know when everything just feels like it’s falling into place. That’s how it feels right now. Standing up here with you. It all just feels like it makes sense.
Carter: It does, doesn’t it?
Paris: I’m excited for this adventure with you. The good, the bad, the better, the worse. The richer, the poorer. Bring it on.
Carter: Mm hm.
Paris: I’m ready for us.
Carter: I am, too. More than you can possibly know. I’m ready to do something with this deep, abiding love I’ve been carrying around, and paris, you’re the answer. You’re my way out. I honestly don’t know what took me so long to realize what I need.
