Naomi met with Chelsea and Kat at Uptown. Chelsea was upset at the backlash they received on social media for backing out of their deal with the Tokyo fashion collective. Naomi told them not to say anything until the truth came out about Takahashi. She would handle the statements if they needed them. Naomi left so Kat tried to make Chelsea feel better about what happened. Hayley brought food for Bill at his office, but he ate already. She told him about his health and wanted access to his tracking app until he snapped about it. He tried to make it up to her when Naomi arrived at his office. Hayley left them alone to talk. Bill asked Naomi about Dani. Naomi became irritated and reminded him that they weren’t together anymore. They changed the subject and talked about work. Naomi explained how they could take advantage of Mike’s mistakes in Madison’s case. She told Bill that she missed talking about cases with him. He was willing to listen anytime she wanted to talk about the law. Vanessa showed Joey the newly remodeled office. He liked what he saw. She thought it was a distraction from Deanna. Vanessa wasn’t sure how she felt about Deanna not going back to school. She thought Deanna wanted to hover over her. Joey felt like Deanna wanted Vanessa to stay away from him. He thought someone closer to her age could get through to her. Joey thought she could talk to Izaiah.
Nicole found Heather talking to her grandchildren, and she wasn’t happy about it. After she saw them together, Nicole went to the casino to confront Joey about his sister. Nicole let him know that she got a bad vibe from Heather. She felt like Heather was trying to infiltrate the Dupree family. Vanessa tried to defend Heather, but Nicole warned Joey to keep his sister away from her grandchildren. Later Heather arrived at the casino. Joey told her that the kids were off limits. He wanted her to go back to London. Heather let him know that she wasn’t just there for business. She told him that he’s all she’s got, but he wasn’t sure if he trusted her. Heather told him everything she did. Elon questioned Jacob’s integrity when he found out that Naomi represented Smitty while Jacob questioned him. Jacob said he wasn’t him. Elon didn’t want him to make the same mistake he did. Jacob was determined to make the family proud.
