Leslie was upset to hear about Ted and Shanice being in love. She barged into Ted’s office and told him to stop being foolish. Ted was tired of her antics and advised her to move on with her life. He sat her down and told her that they were never in love. Ted felt like she was a convenience for him. Leslie needed to find someone who could love her the way she deserved to be loved. She didn’t hear what he was saying. Leslie thought his relationship with Shanice was temporary. She warned him not to come running to her when it fell apart because she wouldn’t be there. After her conversation with Ted, Leslie went to the club for a drink. While she was there, she ran into Vanessa. Vanessa tried to advise Leslie to move on with her life, but Leslie didn’t want to listen to her. Leslie felt like her relationship with Ted was beyond love. Vanessa told her that she and Ted wouldn’t have lasted long even if they got married. Leslie didn’t want to hear her advice and called her out for ditching her husband and children to be with Joey. She thought Joey wouldn’t remember Vanessa’s name a year from now. Everyone else in town gathered for Anita’s party. She wanted to celebrate her successful radiation treatment.
