The episode is based on Hayley’s plan to steal Bill from Dani. Hayley talked to Randy about their plan working and that she would be rid of Bill soon. Naomi and Chelsea talked about their parents’ marriage while they were eating dinner. Bill thought about Dani and how he didn’t notice the way Mike was acting around her. Andre arrived home from his trip. He comforted Dani while she beat herself up about the past. During the flashback scenes, Hayley arrived in town. Hayley’s original target was Joey. Randy knew that Joey wouldn’t fall for it so he thought she should go after Bill. He thought he was the perfect target. Randy thought Hayley should use Naomi to work her way into his life. There was a flashback of Hayley meeting Naomi for the first time. Dani confided in Andre and told him that she wanted to ask Bill to forget his marriage to Hayley and come back to her. She thought that she needed more pain in her life. Dani was the one who introduced Bill and Hayley by having him pick her as his assistant. Hayley flirted with Bill by letting him see her wardrobe. He liked what he saw. They became close after that moment. Bill and Hayley gave in and had their first kiss at the office. In the present, Hayley told Randy that the hardest part was pretending to be guilty.
Chelsea and Dani walked in on Bill and Hayley in a compromising position. Dani yelled at Hayley. She got the shock of her life when Bill told her that he was in love with Hayley. Chelsea thought she saw her mother’s soul leave her body that night. Naomi shifted gears and talked about Jacob. She was glad that Jacob was home safe again. Naomi would never take her for granted. Bill kept thinking about Dani begging him to leave Hayley and go back to her. His thoughts were interrupted when Hayley brought him food to eat. They were about to leave the office, and Bill wasn’t being as affectionate as he usually is with Hayley. Hayley wasn’t happy about that and gave him a cold look. She was ready to kill him immediately. Dani and Andre snuggled in the bedroom. She forgave herself for her moments of weakness. Dani said that Hayley’s betrayal was rough because she thought of her as family.
