Vanessa overheard Kat and Tomas talking about Lynette and Lia. She warned them to let the police do their jobs. Vanessa ended up talking with them about Lynette and Lia working together. While they were talking, they talked about Deanna. Deanna showed up and heard them talking about her. Vanessa didn’t want to cause a scene in public. Joey tried to convince Donnell that he wasn’t involved in the warehouse shootings, but he didn’t believe him. He was getting upset with Donnell’s accusations, but he was willing to answer any question he asked him. Joey informed Donnell that he loved Vanessa and would take a bullet for her. His comment scored brownie points with Donnell. Donnell wanted to talk to Joey about the night his father died. He asked him one more time if he had anything to do with his father’s death. Grayson arrived at Vanessa’a apartment and heard Jan tell Ashley that she always wanted Derek to be her son-in-law. After Jan left, Grayson wanted to come clean with her. Grayson explained how he ended up working with Lia and the plasma ring. He told her that he couldn’t get out of it. Grayson called her the same nickname that Derek called her, and she became enraged. She yelled at him and blamed him for Derek’s death. Deanna was at the club and got a shock when she saw Doug.
