Kat told Tomas that she recognized Lia’s name on the list. They wondered how Lia was connected to Lynette. Kat told him that she and Lia ran in the same circles so she should question her. Later on, Kat went to the hospital. When she saw Lia, she asked her about Lynette. Kat told her that she was a con woman who disappeared. Lia said she didn’t know anything and walked away. Tomas told Bill that Kat questioned Lia about Lynette. Bill was upset that he got Kat involved. At Ashley’s apartment, Grayson got a call from Jacob to meet him in the alley. Grayson told Ashley that he had to go back to his place. He went to meet Jacob in the alley. Ashley told Naomi that Grayson was stabbed. She told Naomi that she was going to find out what was going on with the hospital. Ashley told Naomi what she knew. They thought they could get info out of Smitty. When Grayson was about to tell Jacob that Lia was his contact, he got a message that someone was watching Ashley. Grayson realized Ashley was in danger and kept quiet. He ended up leaving.
Vernon went to see Bill. They talked about Martin. Bill told Vernon that Martin running for senate would expose the secret that they tried to cover up. Joey was also a threat. Bill said Vernon protecting Martin made him soft. Vernon said he would protect Martin until he died. They agreed to be there for each other if Joey decided to collect. Eva tried to convince Leslie to leave the club since it was the anniversary of when they ruined Nicole’s life. She asked Leslie if she had any shame. Leslie told her that she should know the answer to that. She told Eva why she did what she did. Martin walked in on Ted and Nicole hugging. They told Martin that they found a way to deal with the day. When Martin was alone with Ted, he let his father know that he was wrong to defend Leslie. Martin asked if he felt responsible for the woman who ruined his life. Ted reminded him that he kept Smitty in the dark about his senate run. Later on, Kat asked Nicole how to deal with Leslie. Nicole told her there was no easy way to handle Leslie. They ended up at the club and ran into Leslie and Eva. The ladies had a showdown with each other.
