Hayley drugged Bill’s drink, but she was interrupted by Tomas. He suggested that they start over. Tomas wanted them to be friends. Hayley apologized for allowing Lynette to manipulate her. After their conversation, Tomas met with a private investigator. The investigator informed Tomas that Lynette disappeared without a trace. Bill talked to Hayley about Lynette. Hayley distracted him by bringing up his slip with Dani. They got into an argument when he tried to change the subject back to Lynette. Hayley walked out of the room. After their argument, Bill called Caroline to get in touch with Natalia and have her check out his finances. He wanted to know if anything was wrong. Hayley went to Uptown and got a call from Randy. He told her that everything was taken care of with Lynette. Nicole went to see Joey to talk about Vanessa. She wondered if there was a way for them to play nice with each other. Joey suggested they get to know each other. She wanted him to stop making comments about Martin and the night he helped her son. Joey assured her that he would be the one getting hurt and not Vanessa. Nicole warned him that he had to deal with her if he hurt Vanessa. They agreed to be civil.
Vanessa and Dani talked about Joey for a while. They also talked about Bill calling Dani “baby.” Vanessa wondered if Dani liked it. Dani felt like her life was too good to rub it in Hayley’s face. Martin talked with Vernon about how to move on with his political career with his secret looming over his head. They couldn’t erase what happened which disappointed Martin. He let Vernon know that he was still haunted by what happened the night they were attacked. Martin carried that moment around with him for years. Vernon told him that they wouldn’t be there if Martin hadn’t helped them.
