Alexis calls Chase to the stand and, while he is being questioned, he admits that he investigated Willow’s case on his own time because he thought the police didn’t have any solid evidence against her. Dante later suspends Chase for making the PCPD look bad in court. Dante is also upset when Chase accuses him of not investigating Michael as a suspect because he is his brother.
Alexis also calls Portia to the stand and, while being questioned, Alexis gets her to admit that she was at the Metro Court Hotel with Dr. Gannon. Portia also tells the court during her testimony that she altered Heather Webber’s test results in order to protect Trina because she feared that Heather would hurt Trina. Portia admits that Drew found out what she did and was blackmailing her with the information.
Alexis wants to call another witness, but the judge calls a two week recess so everyone can enjoy the holidays. Drew is angry with Alexis for calling Portia to the stand and exposing his extortion that he tells her she can’t see Scout for the holidays.
Curtis tells Kai to take Trina home while he talks to Portia. Portia tells Curtis that she doesn’t know if he or Isiah is the father of her baby.
Alexis is still in court when a messenger hands her a letter that says “Michael was outside Drew’s house the night he was shot and Tracy Quartermaine saw him there. Merry Christmas.”
