Hayley tried to convince Bill that they should go to St. Barts, but he said he couldn’t go because of a client. The client was Lynette. She was accused of embezzling money from the bank she worked at. Later on, Hayley told Randy that she needed to get Bill somewhere isolated. She said she couldn’t have the doctors trying to look into his collapse and finding the drugs. Randy said it was impossible. Later on, Hayley went to Bill’s office. Bill introduced her to Lynette. The women knew each other. Ted and Shanice were at Orphey Gene’s. He told her he didn’t like living in a hotel and how lonely his life has been. When he mentioned his friends being couples, Shanice didn’t mention setting Nicole up with another man. Tomas went to Kat to find out if she was avoiding him. Kat said she was struggling with what they were and what she wanted them to be. She said they were moving too fast. Kat said she wasn’t afraid. She told him it wasn’t him. It was her. Kat told him she wasn’t easy to love which was risky. Tomas thought he should be the judge of what was too risky. Kat said she refused to be pushed. She needed to be sure before she made a decision. Tomas let her do what she wanted to do. Leslie and Eva met with Vanessa. She thought Leslie and Eva were looking for places for the free clinic. Vanessa said they should work out the legalities first. Leslie said it was the perfect opportunity for Eva to reach out to Tomas. Eva said she was more interested in a relationship with Izaiah which would keep her from upsetting Kat. She told Leslie she had the perfect lawyer in mind.
