Phyllis: Oh, my goodness. Look at you, showing up to work with a big basket for your bosses. It may look like you’re trying to get special treatment.
Jack: Wow. Beautiful basket. Are you giving or receiving?
Phyllis: Everybody knows that diane is a taker, not a giver.
Diane: I’m giving. Since we’ve decided to turn over a new leaf, I thought i would extend an olive branch in the form of pastries.
Phyllis: Sugary sweet.
Diane: [ Laughs ] I realize it’s not the most subtle peace offering. I didn’t realize how big it was when I ordered it. But, um, phyllis, you probably shouldn’t eat all of that by yourself. But you can look at the size as a symbol of my determination to win back your trust and forgiveness.
Phyllis: Your timing is impeccable, isn’t it? You just showed up with this huge, unmissable basket right as jack was coming out of his office. Yeah, that’s not subtle at all.
[ Chuckles ]
Diane: [ Sighs ]
Allie: What?
Noah: Nothing.
Allie: Am I drooling or something?
Noah: No, you’re just beautiful first thing in the morning.
Allie: [ Sighs ] I can’T. I, um — I have to get to the lab.
Noah: Come on. You could be a little late, right?
Allie: No, I can’T. I have to be on time today since I took yesterday afternoon off to help plan for summer and kyle’s party. Why didn’t you tell me what time it was, huh?
Noah: Guess I wasn’t in a rush to let you go.
Billy: Hey. I’m sorry. It, uh, took longer at the park than I intended.
Lily: Hey. No, it’s fine. Are you okay?
Billy: Just harder than I — than I expected. Um…what did I miss?
Lily: Um…uh, well, we, um — we met with audra. And she was amazing. We all agreed that jill made the right choice, having her guide us through the ipo process.
Billy: Good.
Lily: So, she, um, sent over preliminary numbers, which was very fast, I think because we had the books together for the merger. I think that helped streamline the process.
Billy: Okay, great. That all sounds — that all sounds good.
Lily: Yeah, and devon said that he was worried that, you know, maybe your heart’s not in it.
Billy: Well, I hope you told him that that wasn’t true.
Lily: I did. I did. I didn’t say anything about johnny. I didn’t think it was my place. And, honestly, by the look on your face, I’m really concerned with how things went. Tell me what happened.
Nate: Is now a good time?
Victoria: Yes. Of course. I’m sorry. Come in. Have a seat. Give me the update.
[ Door closes ]
Nate: Our strategy’s working. I’m on the inside, playing the secondary role my family thinks I should have played all along. As a result, everything’s going smoothly.
Victoria: You’re sure nobody suspects anything?
Nate: Positive. All it took was a complete absence of an opinion on my part. (Kid) why aren’t there any buildings out there?

Nate: As I mentioned on the phone, the decision’s official. Chancellor-winters is moving ahead with the public offering. And we met with an ipo advisor that jill sent in. Her name is audra charles.
Victoria: That name doesn’t ring a bell.
Nate: Everyone thought she was impressive. And she thinks chancellor-winters is in a perfect place to pull off an offering.
Victoria: You know, it’s risky bringing in an outsider. You’re putting a lot in her hands.
Nate: Well, she did her homework on the company and its principals. She hit the ground running, and her presentation hit all the major points. I was thoroughly impressed.
Victoria: Well, I would just say, keep your eyes open. You’re trusting this woman not only with chancellor-winters’ future, but yours and now mine.
Nate: Don’t worry. I’m not going to let our plans be derailed by her or anyone else.
Victoria: Are you sure that this is what you really want to do, that this is the right move for you?
Nate: Why do you ask that? You think I’m not up to running chancellor-winters?
Allie: Last night was fantastic.
Noah: Yeah, it was.
Allie: Okay, I’m not just talking about that.
[ Both laugh ] I’m also talking about the party.
Noah: Yeah. Yeah. It started a little rough, but I’m glad we can bring all of our friends and family together to celebrate.
Allie: At your club.
Noah: I know. You know, I’m really glad we didn’t have to put the event description on the invites.
Allie: [ Laughs ]
Noah: That would have been a tough one. You know, glam club’s soft launch/non-bachelor/bachelorette summer/kyle pre-vow renewal party, something.
Allie: Yeah. Yeah. That’s a little bit of a word salad.
[ Both laugh ] But I think the evening ended up flowing really organically, and kyle and summer seemed to love it. Also, baby, what a meaningful way it was for you to debut your club. I am so blown away by your vision, by your ambition, and by the ways that you showed your family how much they mean to you.
Noah: Yeah, I’m really happy you were there. You, uh… you mean a lot to me.
Allie: Okay. Okay. You — you are not playing fair. I have to go.
Noah: Okay, but coffee on your break. I don’t want to wait all day to see you again.
Allie: I have to get to jabot.
Noah: [ Breathes deeply ]
Diane: There’s nothing subtle about this situation. We both almost lost our jobs, jobs that we cannot and should not take for granted. We’ve been given an incredible opportunity not only to excel professionally, but to do so surrounded by the people that we love the most.
Phyllis: Okay. I almost lost my job because of your emotional outburst, alright? Let’s not get it twisted. And you walked in here on edge, and I was the recipient of your fury. By the way, what was that about? You had just seen victor. Did he tell you that nicki’s in L.A.? Oh, are you — are you worried that she’s going to uncover some secret about you?
Jack: Wait, what are you talking about? Is this something I should know about?
Phyllis: No, no, no! I mean, I’m just making friendly conversation. I mean, that’s what this basket’s about, right? Being friends. And I think that last night — I think that we came closer to achieving that goal.
Diane: Oh, oh, absolutely.
Phyllis: Absolutely, abso– hey, why did you leave so early? I was looking for you, and I saw you slip out. You acted like you didn’t want anyone to notice.
Diane: [ Scoffs ]
Billy: Johnny was rattled. He was angry, and he was hurt. I mean, he didn’t ask to know who his biological mom was, and now he’s thinking everyone around him knew this whole time and he didn’T. And I don’t blame him. I would be upset, as well.
Lily: Yeah. I mean, look, that was always going to be a consequence of telling him no matter when you did it. And I get why you chose to do it now, although I do kind of feel like it had to do more with the adults in his life than what he was going through. So I’m sure it was scary for him trying to process all that information out of the blue.
Billy: He’s my little kid. He’s just my boy. And he’s been through so much. And now I feel like I — I don’t know — I didn’t — maybe i didn’t make the right decision. Maybe I was too easily convinced by chelsea that this was the right thing to do. You know, when I told her that victoria and I were about to talk to johnny, she immediately jumped to inserting herself into his life, like this was step one in the bigger plan for the two of them.
Lily: What do you mean, exactly?
Billy: I think maybe she’s trying to figure out a way to be his mom. I get bladder leaks.
Lily: You think chelsea is trying to be johnny’s mom?
Billy: She didn’t say that outright. But I don’t know. There’s something about the way that she reacted when I told her that victoria and I had had the conversation with johnny. She immediately jumped into inserting herself into his life. She wanted to see him. She wanted to be there for him, support him in this situation. And I just think it’s completely inappropriate. She’s not his parent.
Lily: Yeah, no, I’m with you. I agree.
Billy: You know, victoria warned that this could happen — you know, chelsea could keep pushing. And I — I should have listened to her. But to be honest, there was a part of me that felt for chelsea, you know? She’s been in a bad place, and she’s right — johnny was going to find out about his biological mother at a certain point. And her arrangement made sense. But right now, I did not account for the amount of pain that it was gonna cause right in this moment, especially if chelsea keeps pushing.
Lily: Well, I mean, look, you could be jumping ahead, you know? I mean, this just happened a few hours ago. She could think about it and, you know, back off.
Billy: There’s a benefit to knowing who your biological parent is, but right now the only thing I can think about is the amount of pain that my son is in. And all I want to do is stop it.
Lily: Trust me. I know how hard this is. You know, I remember when i found out that malcolm was my biological father, and I felt the same. I was really hurt, and I was really angry. But at the end of the day, i always felt like neil was my dad. That never went away. And I know that, you know, I was a bit older than johnny was when he found out, but I think no matter what age you are, it’s a really confusing time.
Billy: My priority is protecting johnny at all costs.
Summer: I don’t know how we slept in that late.
Kyle: I guess the surprise party really wore us out.
Summer: And it has been one surprise after another for me lately. A few days ago, I didn’t even know that there was going to be a vow renewal ceremony, much less a bachelor/bachelorette party.
Kyle: Hey. Non-bachelor/bachelorette. You forgot you’re already married.
Kyle: And you better not ever forget it.
Kyle: Mm. You’re the best thing that ever happened to me.
Summer: Husband and wife forever.
Kyle: Remind to thank noah for last night.
Noah: You are quite welcome, sir.
Kyle: Hey. Your club did not disappoint.
Summer: It is going to be a huge success.
Noah: Okay, well, you might be a little biased.
Summer: I might be, but i also have a knack for predicting these things.
Allie: And I keep telling him the same thing.
Noah: Again, biased. But I will give myself some credit for trying out my club on something equally successful — your marriage.
Summer: We are so excited to renew our vows.
Kyle: Mmm.
Victoria: I am not backing out of our deal. I value your instincts and your ideas, and I think that chancellor-winters will flourish& under your leadership. However, this is a tricky endeavor that we’re venturing into, and if we do not do it right, there could be possible legal ramifications for both of us.
Nate: I can handle things on my end. I’ve taken all the necessary steps to be prepared to sell my shares to newman. And I’m sure you’ve taken all the steps, as well. Which makes me think that’s not what’s really on your mind. What is it that has you second-guessing now?
Victoria: I want to be certain that you’re willing to go the distance. You know, you’re risking the wrath of your family when they find out that you’ve betrayed them.
Nate: Betrayed them? What I’m doing is going to lead chancellor-winters to the next level of success. My family has continually told me that I need to prove myself. So I’m going to do just that. I’m setting the stage for them to witness my leadership and vision, as well as participate in the direction of the company moving forward. I am going to introduce a new way of doing things that will include and value us all. How can that possibly be betrayal?
Jack: I was actually wondering where you went last night, as well.
Diane: Phyllis has to turn every little thing into some big mystery. I did not sneak out. I was tired. It was a young person’s party. I’d had a long day. So I went home and I went to bed.
Phyllis: Oh, the old and tired defense.
[ Cellphone pings ]
Diane: [ Sighs ] You know, i am — I am trying so hard to bury the hatchet with you. So, let me just ask. What can I do to finally change your mind about me?
Phyllis: Um…okay. Uh…what? Oh. What can you do? Let me see. Well, the basket’s not gonna cut it. Um…what can you do? There’s absolutely nothing you can do to change my mind about you. -Fixed. -That’s my son.
Jack: Come on, phyllis. Give a little. You two cannot stay on this roller coaster of mutual destruction.
Phyllis: You didn’t let me finish. I have more to say!
Jack: Okay.
Phyllis: I have to finish. First of all, the basket’s tacky, okay? Um, but our constant fighting almost cost me my job here, a job that I love. And if I’m to be very honest, I, too, am so tired of this. I am so tired. But not because of the party last night. That was fun. I’m just tired of our constant battling.
Diane: I find that hard to believe because it seems like you enjoy it.
Phyllis: Oh, really?
Diane: Mm.
Phyllis: Well, maybe I come off aggressive sometimes.
Diane: Oh! And self-aware! Once a decade. Look at that.
Phyllis: Well, this feuding, if that’s what you’d rather call it — all of this feuding is just exhausting me. And it’s a burden I can’t carry anymore. And I figure if kyle and jack can move on from your manipulation and your lies and your betrayal, then I can maybe do it, too. I mean, they are flesh and blood.
Jack: Keep going. You’re doing great.
Phyllis: And I’m willing to do something. Listen, you’re never, ever, ever gonna convince me you’ve changed. You know why? Because I have to convince myself. I have to do that for me. And I am willing to meet you halfway, so…
Diane: [ Scoffs ]
Phyllis: Let’s figure out a way to make this work, diane. Okay?
Diane: [ Scoffs ]
Allie: I only have a few minutes before I have to get back to work.
Noah: And that is why i ordered ahead.
Allie: It’s perfect.
Noah: Yeah, well, you take your coffee black, so it’s pretty easy to remember.
Allie: Still. Points.
Noah: I didn’t think I could be this happy with anyone.
Allie: Same.
Noah: In the past, for me at least, there’s always been ups and downs and constant questioning how the other person feels, having to fight for love, appreciation.
Allie: Wait. Are you trying to say that we’re too easy?
Diane: I appreciate you making the effort.
Phyllis: Well, I appreciate your gesture. Hey, why don’t you take this home?
Kyle: Everything okay here?
Jack: Yeah, actually, it is. Yes.
Summer: Mom, can I talk to you for a moment?
Phyllis: Sure.
Summer: Jack, do you mind if we use your office?
Jack: Absolutely. Please.
Phyllis: Hey, I was doing my best to be civil out there. I was doing my best. Come on. I mean, if you don’t approve of what I was doing, then you’re gonna have to trade me in for another mom.
Summer: Thank you. I could tell that you were really trying, and that means so much to me.
Phyllis: [ Sighs ] Yesterday was a wake-up call. It was crazy. I can’t keep on feeling this way.
[ Voice breaking ] I can’t keep on doing it, summer, especially when you and jack and kyle have all moved on. I mean, you’ve forgiven diane. I don’t trust her, and I can’t be convinced that she’s changed. But I can’t harbor all of this hatred. You know what I mean? So, honestly, hey, if I’m wrong, then great for our family. But if I am right — and I know this from personal experience — secrets have a way of coming out. And I won’t have to do one damn thing to make that happen.
Audra: Victoria newman?
Victoria: Yes. Have we met?
Audra: Not in person, but I’m a huge fan. Audra charles.
Victoria: Nice to meet you.
Audra: I’m sorry if I’m being a little forward, but if you follow the business news and/or things happening in genoa city, then you know all about you. I happen to be tracking both because I’m in town doing some consulting for chancellor-winters.
Victoria: Welcome.
Audra: You know, I’ve been reading about newman enterprises’ latest acquisitions, and in my humble opinion, the company seems to be heading in a bigger and better direction with you at the helm.
Billy: This all looks good. I will send it out immediately.
Chelsea: Hey. Uh, sorry for interrupting. Do you have a minute?
Billy: I, um —
Lily: I’ll, um — I’ll give you two some privacy.
Lily: No. It’s okay. Stay. I just wanted to thank billy again for everything. I, um — I really appreciate you being in my corner and going to bat for me with victoria.
Billy: Look, chelsea, your reasoning for telling johnny — it made a lot of sense, right? I mean, he deserves to know the truth. He’s going to find out about his biological mother at a certain point. But right now, I have to tell you, I am definitely second-guessing my decision to tell him.
Chelsea: Billy, it’s a great thing he heard the news from you and victoria as opposed to someone else. And I’m really hoping going forward we can just go in a positive direction. I want you to know I’ve thought long and hard about what you said, that johnny is not ready to have me participate in his life. I heard you, and I’m not gonna try to force anything. But I was hoping you would give him something for me. I bought this when I was pregnant with johnny. And even after I gave him up, I kept it. I’m not even sure why. Maybe — maybe it was for a moment like this.
Billy: I think it’s a little too soon for that, chelsea.
Chelsea: Well, you know, i let connor play with it when he was a baby, but it never really felt right because it was always johnny’s blanket. And I’m hoping I can help him ease into a place of acceptance. And I feel like a gift like this could show him that I never stopped thinking about him. Billy, I do not intend to be a threat to you or victoria or johnny. I just want to be another person in his life that cares about him. And I want him to know that. Want your clothes to smell freshly
“The young and the restless”
will continue.
Lily: May I see the blanket?
Chelsea: Oh, yeah.
Lily: Thanks.
Billy: Look, I can appreciate this, and I know that your heart is in the right place. I just find it inappropriate. This will always be johnny’s decision, and he will make this decision on his own time. And if we keep pushing him, well, he could shut down from all of us, and that would not be good. We are adults. We have had years to process the choices that we have made. My son is now dealing with this for the last few hours, and it is something that he didn’t ask to be a part of.
Chelsea: I’m — I’m sorry you see it that way.
Billy: Look, chelsea, I don’t want to be harsh. I really don’T. But you’re overstepping. So, no more gifts, no more anything unrequested. Again, this will be johnny’s decision, and I will support him no matter what. If he decides to reach out to you as his biological mother or as connor as his brother, again, that will be his choice. But until he decides to do that, you need to back off.
Lily: Look, chelsea, this is difficult for everyone, but honestly, it’s even harder for johnny. He has no idea how to even fathom the adult decision making that’s going on around him. But I know that in time, you’ll find your way through this.
Victoria: I happen to be friendly with devon and lily over at chancellor-winters. What kind of consulting are you doing for them?
Audra: Due to confidentiality, I can’t disclose the nature of my work.
Victoria: Oh, right, of course. I’m — I’m sorry.
Audra: I mean, I can say that this assignment should keep me in town for a while, so I would love to get together some time, perhaps over lunch. I have every intention of getting to know all the players in town.
Jack: Looks like we all had the same idea for lunch.
Kyle: Ah! We should have texted you. Could have saved you the trip.
Diane: But I never mind a few extra minutes with my favorite guys.
Kyle: I was just telling mom how much summer and I appreciate her efforts to mend fences with phyllis.
Jack: And phyllis does get some credit for meeting you, well, almost halfway.
Kyle: [ Chuckles ]
Jack: Hey, it turns out people actually can change.
[ Cellphone ringing ]
Kyle: Uh, excuse me for a moment.
Diane: Jack, I want to thank you for always being able to see things with an objective viewpoint. Maybe things are different with phyllis this time. Maybe all we needed was some perspective. Between kyle’s amazing party and the threat of being fired, maybe things just came into focus.
Kyle: I forgot about a meeting summer and I scheduled. I have to get back.
Diane: Oh, no problem. I’ll bring your food to the office.
Kyle: Thanks. See you later.
Jack: Listen, I’m kind of curious about something. I didn’t bring it up with kyle here. Um, phyllis mentioned something about nikki discovering things in L.A. Is there something you haven’t told us? Who says you have to spend more on skincare
Diane: You know the newmans are not my biggest fans. Victor mentioned that nikki was in L.A., And then he implied that there could be some bad news coming my way. But I honestly can’t imagine what her trip has to do with me.
Jack: One of victor’s favorite pastimes is unsettling people with vaguely ominous threats. I’ve been on the receiving end of a few of those, as well as some that are not so vague.
Diane: [ Chuckles ]
Jack: Look, kyle said that nikki is in L.A. To buy a custom dress for summer from the forresters.
Diane: Oh. Well, then that makes perfect sense. I mean, I have said over and over again that there is nothing anyone can discover about my time in L.A. That could undercut or contradict anything I’ve said since I came back to town. Anyway, I am just going to enjoy what happened with phyllis today and hope that we have put the war behind us.
Jack: I hope so, too. It has exhausted me almost as much as it has exhausted you.
Diane: [ Sighs ]
Noah: Yeah. Yeah, we’re too easy.
Allie: You’re doubling down?
Noah: Easy in the best ways.
Allie: No. Nope. Try again.
Noah: Look, I just mean that we don’t have to try. We’re comfortable with each other. It’s special.
Allie: Okay, that’s a little better.
Noah: I can just be myself around you. I’m not constantly worried about when the other shoe is gonna drop. I hope you feel the same way.
Allie: I do.
Noah: I want more days and nights like we had yesterday at the club.
Allie: Well, maybe you could throw an after party for kyle and summer’s ceremony.
Noah: Yeah, that’s a good idea. You know, this would be the second wedding that you and i have gone together.
Allie: Yeah, but we weren’t together then.
Noah: Yeah, but I knew it would happened eventually.
Allie: Oh, really? That’s a little overconfident, considering that we had, uh, just met that day.
Noah: Okay, well, I was hoping it would happen. And all this time, who knew I was waiting for you?
Allie: [ Sighs ] I don’t want to go, but I have to get back to work.
Noah: [ Sighs heavily ]
Allie: I promise I’ll see you later.
Noah: Okay.
Chelsea: Hey.
Victoria: Now is not a great time.
Chelsea: Victoria, I wanted to thank you for speaking with johnny earlier. Billy told me it didn’t go as smoothly as you’d hoped.
Victoria: It went exactly the way that I worried it would.
Chelsea: I’m sorry. I know this is hard on you and billy — and especially johnny.
Victoria: Yes, it is.
Chelsea: I still believe once the shock wears off, there is a future where johnny will want me in his life. If we all work together, maybe we can slowly nudge him in that direction.
Nate: Hey.
Elena: Hi.
Nate: How was your day?
Elena: Still working. Just reviewing charts, but I can finish them upstairs.
Nate: Hey, hold on. Hold on. It’s pretty clear you’re trying to avoid me.
Elena: I mean, after the last few days, I think that’s the best course of action.
Nate: Because you won’t talk to me unless I fall in line with your advice.
Elena: Nate, if I say something, it turns into a fight. If I don’t say anything, it turns into a fight. So I can’t have an opinion, and I can’t stay quiet. So, what do you want me to do?
Nate: [ Sighs ]
Nate: All I’ve ever asked you to do was to try to understand where I’m coming from and why i feel like I have to do this.
Elena: But you don’t have to do anything. You are making a very specific choice when there are plenty of other options. You could just leave the company. Or you could slow down and actually learn the ropes. But instead, you are choosing to hurt the people who are supposed to mean the most to you.
Nate: The people who are supposed to me the most to me have no problem overlooking me or belittling me.
Elena: [ Sighs ]
Nate: There’s no reason for me to play small ball when i have big ideas, strong leadership skills, the ability to execute.
Elena: I am sorry, but how exactly do you know that you have those skills? And what exactly have you successfully executed?
Nate: Nothing. But that’s because devon refuses to let me do anything.
Elena: It’s his business. He gets to make that call. Yes, you have ideas, but you need to let your boss warm up to them. Give him time to adjust to the new dynamic. But instead you’re mad at devon. So you want to hurt everyone else who’s directly or indirectly involved.
Nate: Who exactly is being hurt?
Elena: Lily will be hurt. Jill. Billy. And right now, you are hurting me because this is — this is more than just business. This is about morality. It’s about family, relationships, and love. You know, the things that still stand when everything else falls apart. I don’t know who you are anymore, nate, but you are not the man that I fell in love with, the one who used to help people. And I don’t know if I can be around this version of you anymore.
Nate: What are you saying?
Elena: [ Sighs ] I guess I’m saying… I think we need some time apart.
Nate: [ Exhales sharply ]
Lily: I’m really sorry you’re going through this.
Billy: I’m sorry. I know you got a lot on your plate right now, and there’s a lot to prepare for with the ipo. And I will be — I’ll be 100% in a bit.
Lily: No, you don’t have to. I’m not asking you to.
Billy: It was just a rough day.
Lily: I know, and you’re handling it really well. You’re just trying to figure out what’s best for your son.
Billy: I wish I knew that this was not the right time to tell him about chelsea.
Lily: Well, you know what? It’s done.
Billy: Yeah.
Lily: It’s done, right? And chelsea was right about one thing — all you can do now is just forge ahead in a positive direction… ’cause everyone is struggling. Everyone, including you. You’re the emotional rock of the group. You know, you’re trying to figure it all out. You’re trying to take care of everyone. And I know how exhausting that can be. So, if you want to vent, you know, or… take a break from anything… it’s okay.
Victoria: The only direction that we’re going in is the one that’s right for johnny.
Chelsea: I just want what’s best for him.
Victoria: But what I’m hearing from you is what you want. And this is exactly what I knew would happen. You’re trying to weasel your way into my son’s life, even after billy obviously told you that johnny doesn’t want anything to do with you.
Chelsea: Johnny is still a child. He doesn’t know what he wants.
Victoria: Oh, wait, hold on a second. Now he’s a child? I thought he was old enough to know the truth. So, which is it? So none of us are going to be nudging johnny along. But what billy and i are gonna be doing is reminding him every day that he’s loved and that his life is not gonna change and that he’s not obligated to build and maintain a relationship that he’s uncomfortable with.
Chelsea: I love him, too. I’m just asking that he be open to knowing every part of himself.
Victoria: Oh, I’m sorry. You gave up your rights to johnny when you signed away your rights as his mother. This is his life. This is his decision to make. And I hope with every ounce of my being that you’re not trying to influence him because I am the only mother that he has ever known and I will not stand for it.
Summer: Still have a few minutes before our meeting. How did diane seem at society?
Kyle: She was in pretty good spirits, but tell me what happened when you pulled phyllis aside.
Summer: Oh, she’s still not ready to fully trust diane, but she sees now how useless it is to continue their feud. She wants her family to be happy.
Kyle: That is a pretty good start.
Summer: Our moms making peace is the perfect way to go into our vow renewal ceremony. Nothing is going to get in the way of the celebration now.
Jack: Thank you. And thank you for waiting for my food with me.
Diane: Oh, of course. I couldn’t leave behind such great company.
[ Cellphone pings ] Excuse me.
Jack: Everything alright?
Diane: Oh, yes, ev– everything’s fine. Um, I’ve — I’ve got to run. Just enjoy your lunch.
