THIS STILL NEEDS EXTENSIVE EDITING!

Brook Lynn: I’m right, aren’t I? You’re not all whipped up into a righteous fury over Dante’s right to know that he has a son out there. You are just plain ole resentful and threatened. [ Scoffs ] Threatened? Uh huh. By you? Big time. You thought that you and Dante told each other everything. Turns out, Dante has some secrets of his own. He kept our past secret from you, and you can’t stand it. The only reason Dante ever defended you is because he has no idea that you lied to him about your past for years and what’s really pissing me off is now I have to lie for you, too. Well, you won’t be surprised to hear that Councilman Boyle showed up at G.H. for Drew’s press conference about the Pediatric Sports Initiative. Yeah. You know, if there’s a camera in the room, that guy will find a way to get his face in front of it. Mm hmm. [ Chuckles ] And when he wasn’t posing, he and Drew looked pretty chummy. I don’t like to think about what those two might be up to. Well, let’s just be glad that the Sports Initiative went as well as it did. It’s a good cause. It’s going to be good for the city, although I doubt Drew is going to think Aurora’s coverage of the event was good for him. I mean, Drew’s the one who practically forced Aurora to cover it. He should have known Curtis wasn’t going to take that sitting down. Thank you. I really appreciate the invitation. I know how rare of an opportunity this is. Well, Stella suggested it. Uh, usually our get togethers are pretty exclusive, but since yours is the only media outlet that bothered to fact check the coverage of the Pediatric Sports Initiative. If Aurora’s going to cover a story, we’re definitely going to make sure the facts are straight. You and Tracy also have a common cause, so I thought you two should get to know each other. [ Cellphone rings ] Excuse me. Yeah? That’s fine. Let him in. We’re in the solarium. Pardon the interruption, but, uh, this might be entertaining. Of course. You teamed up with Tracy. Ava: What is it, Sonny? Is something wrong? Should I call 911? Oh. Oh, I see. Is that what you want? Isn’t it awful to be in need when no one will help you? It’s terrible, isn’t it, knowing that somebody could act, they could do just one little thing, but instead, they stand there, enjoying your pain and you’re left to endure it, all the while thinking, “How dare you judge me?” Ava, what are you do… Dad? Oh, my God. Your pills. W Why didn’t you help him? Hey, Dad. Once again, you’re upset because of how this affects you. Not me, not Dante, but you. And just for the record, Lulu, had you stayed out of my business to begin with, you wouldn’t have to lie to anyone. I didn’t go to Martin’s room looking for anything about you. I went to try to get info on Valentin so I could track down my daughter. Instead, I find stuff about your teenage hookup with Dante that produced a child. I didn’t want to know that any more than I don’t want to have to keep your secret. Do you think I want this? For me or for you? Well, it doesn’t matter, ’cause I know now. Every time Dante looks at me and he tells me he’s so happy that I have Charlotte back, I choke on the knowledge that he has a son he knows nothing about. I just want to tell him the truth. You want to tell Dante because you hate me, and you want him to hate me, too. [ Scoffs ] You want to revel in the joy of telling him that I’ve kept this secret all this time. And if it upends our son’s life, then, oh, well, at least you got to hurt me. You know what? Whatever, Brook Lynn. It doesn’t matter why I want to tell him because I already agreed that I wouldn’t. And that was before your husband threatened to have me arrested. Bad time? ‘Cause we can come back. Or not, if that’s better. It’s fine. We’re just having a little disagreement. [ Chuckles ] Actually, we’re fighting because Brook Lynn’s a self serving, manipulative Hey! But there’s one thing she’s not my boss. He He just collapsed. I didn’t know what was happening. I have never seen him like this. Of course, I was going to help him, and and then you you came in and you Go. Well, should I call 911? Just go, Ava. [ Grunts ] Okay, uh, Dad, I’m going to I’m going to I’m going to call an ambulance. No. Dr. Gannon. Ah, how are we this afternoon, ladies? We are just fine, Councilman. Thank you. Oh, please. We’ve known each other far too long to stand on ceremony. May I join you? [ Sighs, grunts ] What’s on your mind, Ezra? The Esplanade project, of course. Apparently, some sort of snail has the tree huggers all up in arms. They’ve actually managed to delay the project. Yes, I have read the environmental impact report. My. Well, have you read the Esplanade’s economic projection report, as well? Because I can tell you there is no snail alive more important than jobs and revenue that this project will bring to Port Charles. Yeah, except, Ezra, we are not allowed to ignore the environmental impact report. Oh, my goodness, we got to move those snails. I mean, this is My constituents are so upset. I’m sorry. Are you? Because my constituents are going to be very upset when they hear that this delay is just so unnecessary. If you’d only move the project to Pier 55, we’d be pouring cement already. Okay, well, moving the Esplanade to Pier 55 wasn’t a workable option. Yes, it was, and it is, okay? All you got to do is just make it work. Look, it’s not too late to change your mind, because sometimes, as public servants, the best we can do is to admit when we’re wrong. Oh, yes, like when you rented a private jet on the taxpayers’ dime for your little vacation in Greece. Uh, excuse me. That was a clerical error, okay? I was attending an international conference. Mm. I made the right decision here. It didn’t make sense to move the Esplanade away from the city center. And besides, if we had tried to move it, Sonny Corinthos would have fought us on the seizure of his land, so we would be in delays now. Suppose you would know what Sonny Corinthos would do, given how close the two of you are. What are you implying? I’m not implying anything at all. But I am suggesting that you reconsider your position and avoid all the embarrassing questions about the family ties to a notorious crime lord. Well, that was intense. Are you okay? Lulu has always been the heroine of her own drama. She never wants to listen to anything anyone tells her, but she has a lot to say about how other people should live their lives. But why was she even here? I needed a new assistant, and my grandmother insisted on hiring her, and I knew it would never work. So, did we walk in on you firing her? Not even. She quit. That part won’t make it. Not when she tells the story. I will be the bad guy. I don’t even want to think about Tracy’s reaction when she finds out that Lulu quit. Then don’t. I have something much better for you to think about. Flawless segue. What are we segueing to? Something that’ll give Tracy what she wants the most. Well, now you’re going to have to help me out here, Drew, ’cause I’m not teamed up with anyone. Oh, is that right? Maybe we should talk about your coverage of the Sports Initiative. You’re the one who asked Aurora to cover your press conference. Yeah, not like that. Referring to me as Drew Cain? What was that about? It’s your name. You have no legal right to the Quartermaine name. That cease and desist is is never going to stand up. But it was in place at the time of your press conference. And the journalists at Aurora, they’re held to the same standards that you put in place back when you were running Aurora. Anyway, due diligence was done and everyone was credited correctly. I’m trying to do something good, and you think dragging my personal life into the spotlight is going to detract from that? The Pediatric Sports Initiative is getting tons of attention. It’s trending on social media. Now, isn’t that what the press conference was for, to help the kids and not your ego, Congressman Cain? Ditch the halo, Curtis. You want to get ugly? You got it. Hate to admit it, but that was a bit entertaining. [ Chuckles ] And very well done. Well, I’d say you nailed your part quite nicely, as well. What we have here is the start of a beautiful friendship. Here, here. [ Chuckles ] You and Sonny Corinthos, you share a grandchild, and we have all these people saying, “Ah, she’s using her position as mayor to protect the interests of Sonny Corinthos. Which people are these? Just…people. I mean, I don’t know. You know Protect Sonny how? Look [sighs] you know what I’d hate to see happen? I’d hate to see the media get sidetracked and start questioning, “Hey, why are you putting the interests of Sonny Corinthos above those of Port Charles?” And then they’ll probably assume, “Ah, it’s for possible financial gain.” And they would be quickly discredited by the truth, because I have nothing to hide. My relationship with Sonny Corinthos is a matter of public record, and I disclose my financials every year, something I think you’ve managed to avoid repeatedly. That’s a Uh, that’s something that… Yeah. Yeah, I think we’re done here. Do you need a ride? I’m fine. Thanks. I’ll meet you back at the office. Okay, see you there. Okay. Well, how lucky am I to have this opportunity to speak to the deputy mayor alone? Well, you might feel differently once you hear what I have to say. We should have waited till Dr. Gannon was here before we moved you around. I didn’t want to stay on the floor. Donna could’ve walked in. Can you tell me what happened? What did Ava do? I lost my temper, and I went after her. And I shouldn’t have, because I know that no one gets under my skin more than she does. And I got a pain. And I went to grab my pills, and they fell. I dropped them. I couldn’t take them. And so Ava just stood there the whole time? [ Doorbell rings ] Hang on, Dad. Hey. What happened? Hi. I don’t know. I I I came in and my dad was on the floor and he was clutching his chest. Did you take your pills, Sonny? Uh, yeah, eventually. What do you mean “eventually”? Don’t you bring your pills with you all the time? Yeah, but I dropped them. When I came in, Ava Jerome was just standing there, and she was just standing there. She could have easily bent over and just picked up the pill bottle for him. It’s better off that she doesn’t know what the pills are. Let her think it’s it’s it’s a panic attack. How you feeling now? Better. Should we go to the hospital? Oh, no, no, no, no, no. I took the pill. I’m fine. Dad, you don’t know that. You’re not fine until he says you’re fine. [ Lulu grunting ] Cody: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Stop. Hey, James loves that thing. Why? [ Breathing heavily ] Because I’m a horrible person. Okay, try again. That frog and his family deserve the truth. I came to see Rocco, and I just needed to blow off some steam before I did. What’s got you so worked up? Brook Lynn. What else? I thought things were better between you two since you had that talk. Maybe she’s right. Maybe I’m as horrible as she thinks I am. [ Chuckles ] Mm. Love you, Auntie. Love you, too. Ladies, enjoy your afternoon. Thank you. I love that one like he’s my own. I can tell. Were you and your sister very close? Irene and I loved each other dearly. I wish my brother, Alan, and I had been closer. Mostly we just drove each other crazy. But when you’re siblings, that’s love. And the love was always there, Tracy. I suppose it was. What are you talking about? I just I I can’t let it go. I know that I should be able to, but I can’t. It It kills me that Dante never said a word about Brook Lynn when Carly hired her to break us up. He didn’t know he got her pregnant. But he knew they had a relationship. He knew they’d slept together, and he always said that they were just friends. Big deal. I mean, you two were together at the time, right? They were together years ago at summer camp when they were teenagers. I mean, he probably figured it didn’t matter ’cause nothing came of it. That’s the thing. Something did come of it. Something major. His heart’s at normal rhythm. If we take him back to G.H. now, there’s nothing they could do except monitor him. Man, it’s one thing to hear that my dad had a heart condition. It’s another to see him on the floor in pain, struggling to breathe. Sorry to scare you, honey. No, Dad, God, it’s not your fault. I wasn’t saying it because of that. It’s Ava. She obviously provoked you. I’ll be fine. I need a minute with Dr. Gannon. Uh, sure. Okay. You’re alright with Donna? Alright. Okay, I’m going to go to Charlie’s, but, um, I’m going to call you and check on you later, okay? Thank you so, so much. Sure thing. Okay. [ Sighs ] I appreciate you coming over here, and, uh once I you know, I do the surgery, we’re done, okay? No, I I don’t want you to wait any longer. I’m making the appointment with the cardiologist in L.A. I’m making the call today. No, you’re not. Since we’re not standing on ceremony today, let me be clear. Any attempt to smear Laura will blow up in your face. Wow. I am surprised by your attitude, Jordan. I mean, look, if you played your cards right, you could be our next mayor. Let me ask you this. As the former police commissioner, how do you justify Laura’s friendship with Sonny Corinthos? Laura is an excellent mayor, and we both know she is an honest politician. Well… Here is the deal, okay? You’re gaining the respect of the local politicos, okay? You are on track to run this city if that is what you want to do. And all it would take to push your public profile over the top is just one defining moment that the public can latch on to and cheer about. Resigning in protest, maybe, because your boss is kowtowing to organized crime. I am so glad you were able to meet me for a drink. Huh. You will not believe what happened today at Sonny’s. Why were you at Sonny’s? I was asking him for a loan. [ Scoffs ] Well, that was a mistake and a complete waste of time. It was also the last thing I wanted to be doing, but I’m desperate. I have bills to pay. I’m well aware of that. That’s That’s not what’s important right now. What’s important is that while I was there, Sonny collapsed at my feet. What? You heard me. There’s something wrong with Sonny. What do you think? Okay, so you’re proposing that the family trade some of our lakefront property for the public land that the crypt is on? That way, they don’t have to move the mausoleum. And the lakefront won’t be developed anyway, since it is a protected habitat for our resident egrets. Nothing’s really going to change. And you’d be doing something good for nature. I love that. Why are you bringing this to me? Well, we went to Ned first Oh, that was a mistake. Yeah. Yeah, my dad can only see things from a financial perspective. Something he learned from Edward. He also learned “never give an inch” from Tracy, so he’s got his limits. But you liked our idea, right? We should pursue it. No, you shouldn’t. Knock, knock. Hey. Hope I’m not catching you at a bad time. Not at all, Deputy Mayor. Come in. I won’t keep you long. I just wanted to say thank you for your flattering coverage on my involvement in the Pediatric Sports Initiative. The photos made it seem like I was the one running the program and not Drew. Well, you were an integral part of the initiative. Besides, who wouldn’t rather look at you and Portia instead of some crooked politician? Mm. Well, you did say Drew would regret forcing you to cover the press conference. And you were right. “Congressman Drew Cain”? Yeah, well, that is his legal name. I just used it to shift the focus to my advantage. Still promoted the Pediatric Initiative. I just denied Drew and his ego the satisfaction of the P.R. he craves. Well, speaking on my own behalf and probably the mayor’s, well done. Did you see the look on Drew’s face when he saw Curtis in here having tea? I’m locking that image away. [ Chuckles ] I thought he was going to pop something. Maybe next time. And by the way, I didn’t know you had that in you. What are you talking about? Well, you may be the helpful, compassionate, patient advocate at work, but you’re not going to let anybody mess with your family, are you? Would you? Of course not. Yeah, well, there you have it. And like you, I don’t suffer fools gladly. I knew we had that in common when we first met. Someone comes for your family? You fight back twice as hard. Congressman. As it happens, I just had the chance to talk to our dear mayor about the Esplanade project. Okay. Well, good. But there’s something that needs to be taken care of first. Tracy Quartermaine. Oh, is she the one responsible for all that Congressman Cain stuff in the press? Yeah, she just was way too happy to help Curtis screw me over. I mean, the woman undermines me every chance she gets, and I am sick of it. Now you have connections at Public Works, right? Yes. Good. Because the Quartermaine crypt is partially on public land. Are you And I want you to get your bulldozers down there ASAP. I want that crypt torn down now. Are you saying that you never had feelings for anyone before you met Dante? No, of course not. What’s the problem, then? The problem is that Brook Lynn and Dante had a relationship that became a secret that they kept just between the two of them. Meaning he kept it from you. [ Sighs ] Dante lied about his feelings for Brook Lynn, and deep down, I think that I always knew it. That’s why I could never let Brook Lynn’s failed seduction go, even when I knew she did it because of Carly. Dante picked you, though, Lulu. I know, and everyone told me that I was being ridiculous for holding on to all my bad feelings for Brook Lynn. Well, maybe they were right. I mean, this was a long time ago. Like, all of it. But Dante never told me about it. He lied to me. By omission. It’s still a lie. And then he lied to me again to my face when he denied ever having feelings for Brook Lynn. I used to think that Dante and I, we were we were so in sync that no matter what happened, we would never lie to each other. Now I know that was never true. My cardiologist told me if, uh you know, I mean, I can wait a few months as long as I take my medication and avoid stress. Oh, yeah? And how’s that going? It’ll be better. Ah. I don’t like it, Sonny. Well, yeah, you know what? My health means nothing if I lose my family. Sonny, why And I’ll tell you right now. I happen to have a lead on a s on a security issue. And if I can resolve that before the scheduled surgery, I can call my cardiologist. Maybe he can move up the procedure. How’s that? Well, I’ll take what I can get. I I really appreciate what you’ve done, how you’ve helped me, and I owe you for that. You don’t owe me anything, but you do owe it to yourself to get that surgery as soon as you can. [ Knock on door ] Sorry. I didn’t mean to just drop in on you like this. It’s okay, Mayor Collins. I was just leaving. I’ll talk to you soon. What’s going on? Why don’t you tell me? Why was Dr. Gannon here? Uh, it’s not it’s not important. Um… I would appreciate it if you didn’t tell anybody that you saw him. Okay. Want to tell me why, though? I don’t want to lie to you. I appreciate that, Sonny. I have a heart condition, and I’m going to have to have surgery. I don’t get it. You said our plan made sense. Yeah, and the standoff over the crypt can’t go on forever. ’cause it’s just going to end up that nobody gets exactly what they want. But with our plan, Tracy gets her way, and your ancestors won’t be disturbed and can rest in peace. It is a good idea. I just don’t want you guys to get all mired in the Drew and Tracy fight like the rest of us. We already kind of are. You’re not in the guts of it, okay? Not yet. This is classic Quartermaine in fighting. But we can help stop it. It’s not that simple, okay? It never is when the Quartermaines go at each other. And you two aren’t even hardcore “Q’s.” You can get out. You should walk away. Do it. Walk away while you still can. I don’t know why Dante didn’t come clean to you back then, but I know that he loved you. And, hey, look, Brook Lynn? Never a threat. It’s not like it matters, right? Dante and I have been over for a long time now. It’s dumb to feel like I’ve lost something now. It’s not dumb. It’s rough when you think you have a handle on your past, and then all of a sudden, things that you thought were true aren’t. Are you the voice of experience? I’m the voice of my experience. It It messed me up when I found out that the Bells weren’t my birth parents. I got mad. But then, you know, I got over it and moved on. Maybe that’ll happen for me, too. Thanks for understanding. I mean, I thought he had better taste. The woman tried to break up a relationship for money. How could Dante care about someone like that? Well, maybe that’s why he lied. He’s embarrassed. Maybe. But Brook Lynn lied, too, and now I’m the one who has to live with her lie. Kristina: Terrifying. My dad was just lying there on the ground. He was in so much pain, and he just was clutching his chest and he could barely breathe. I I I’ve never seen him like that before. I mean, I thought he was… [ Sighs ] I thought he was going to die right then and there, and Ava… Ava was just standing there. I mean, she was just standing there over the pill bottle, and and she could have so easily just bent down and picked up the pills and handed them to him and helped him, and she didn’t. She just stood there. And by not helping him, she was killing him. She was killing him just like she killed you. So, did you find out anything? Well, as the concerned, loving brother, I can confirm that Sonny was not admitted to G.H. Oh, I knew he wouldn’t go. So after Kristina gave him a pill, he must have recovered. What happened before he went down? We were arguing. I mean, we were both furious, and then all of a sudden, he just stopped. He was obviously in a lot of pain, and he had a prescription pill bottle, and he collapsed, and he dropped the bottle before he was able to take a pill. It fell right at my feet. And you just stood there? I was going to help him, of course, but then Kristina came screeching in. She scared the heck out of me. You didn’t know that she was there? No, but she obviously knew what was going on. She gave him a pill. And then she was yelling at me to get out of there, so I left. Well, Sonny’s been on medication for years. Mm hmm. Mood stabilizers, right? But nothing for pain. The man could barely breathe. I’m telling you, something is seriously wrong with your brother. I got shot in the chest years ago, and it damaged my heart. Not many people survive a shot to the heart, let alone live on for years afterwards. You’re very strong. I think my strength may be running out. My cardiologist says that I have a heart arrhythmia and only a surgery can repair it, so I’m going to do that in a couple of weeks. Is it safe to wait two weeks? Well, it has to be because I have some business I have to take care of, and I need to do that before I’m out of commission for a couple of weeks. Until then, I have Dr. Gannon, I have the medication, and… I just have to avoid stress. That’s easier said than done, isn’t it? I mean, with your life. [ Both chuckle ] Yeah, but, uh, I’ve been doing alright. Until today. What happened today, Sonny? Ava came by. I’ve been trying to be cordial with her, you know, as far as with Avery, and she came in here. She wanted more money, so I thought I could take advantage of that. And I got into it with her. I had a lot… A lot of rage. Then the pain hit, and I was like [exhales sharply] I couldn’t get my pills, and I fell down. Pills were on the ground, and luckily Kristina came in and helped me. So that’s why Dr. Gannon was here? Yeah, yeah, he checked me out. Everything’s fine. I’m glad to hear that. But I’m really worried now, Sonny. Laura, I couldn’t control myself. It scares me. We can’t walk away from this. And we don’t want to. Our idea has something that’ll make both sides happy. Drew won’t be happy unless he hurts my grandmother enough that he gets his name back. But I will try and talk to my dad about it, okay? [ Cellphone ringing ] Oh, I I’ve got to take this. I’ll talk to you guys later, okay? Hey, Natalia, did you get those figures I sent? She’s so busy. I mean, what what if Tracy gets arrested before Brook Lynn has a chance to talk to Ned? The house belongs to Monica, right? She’s the one that owns the property? Yeah. She’s the one that we should be talking to. Come on. You can always talk to me if you ever want to vent about Brook Lynn or anyone else. I’ll listen, and I will not judge. I’d understand if you did. You had an argument. That does not make you a bad person. Trust me. I’ve known some bad guys in my life. You don’t even come close. Like I can trust your judgment. You pick up hitchhikers. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. So did I. And I’m going to check out that exhibit at the Rice. Oh, Trina says she and Kai had a blast. Any chance I could convince you to check it out with me tomorrow afternoon? I wish I could, but I have a doctor’s appointment. Everything okay? No, everything is fine. But I read an article about how it takes two, both urine tests and blood tests, to screen for kidney disease. So I asked my doctor about it. Is kidney disease a concern for you? I didn’t think so, but as many as 90% of people with kidney disease don’t know they have it and may not have any symptoms until irreversible kidney damage has already been done. I never really think about my kidneys. Neither did I, but high blood pressure and diabetes account for 2/3 of kidney disease cases, and the two tests may also uncover cardiovascular risks. I have high blood pressure, so I thought I should get it checked out. Well done. I like it when my friends take their health into their own hands. Well, as they say, honey, knowledge is power. Power. [ Laughs ] You should have seen Drew’s face when he saw me having tea with Aunt Stella and Tracy. He went from zero to 1,000 in half a second. [ Chuckles ] I wish you’d taken a picture. Yeah, so do I. Ah. Well, you had to know he’d assume the three of you are working against him now, so you’re basically declaring war on the man. Well, Drew’s pride took a direct hit, and now his ego is going to demand retribution. Are you sure you’re ready to wave the red flag in front of him? Just until his anger makes him do something stupid, and then he will expose his true colors to the whole world. I get the logic, but Drew’s something stupid could end up hurting you or someone you care about. So just watch out for unintended consequences. Well, I’ve played Drew before, so, um, he better watch out for me. We be standing up for the people of Port Charles. We’ve been righting a wrong that was done when the Quartermaine patriarch helped himself to public land. “We”? This is your battle. Well, don’t you want to show your constituents that you stand up for the little guy, that you champion the people? This is your family. Look, the Quartermaines were given notice months ago that they had to move the crypt from public land, alright, and since then, they’ve been using their money and their privilege to stonewall. They’re not above the law. They had the chance to move the crypt. They didn’t take it. So now I want it razed to the ground tomorrow. I wonder what’s wrong with Sonny. And how serious it is. You are enjoying the idea of his death a little too much. Sonny told me if it wasn’t for Avery, he would have me killed. And it’s not the first time he’s told me that, so excuse me if I don’t get all misty over the idea of his passing. Besides, if Sonny dies, Avery’s inheritance would cover all my debts, and there’d be a lot left over to keep to keep Avery in the lifestyle to which she’s become accustomed. Pragmatic to a fault. This is exactly what we’ve been waiting for. Sonny is is hiding his condition. He obviously doesn’t want anybody to know about it. And that means it must be serious. I hope that you’re not trying to carry this burden all alone, Sonny. There are a few key people who know. I just don’t want this to be, you know, in the public. Yeah. I don’t want my family to worry. And I don’t want my enemies to know that I’m not 100%. And I’m not just thinking about myself. I’m just thinking about Port Charles on a whole. I appreciate that. I really do. And I want you to know that I will keep your secret. I promise. No one sees how dangerous Ava is but me. [ Sniffles ] [ Sighs ] She convinced a jury that she wasn’t guilty for killing you, and she uses Avery every single chance she has against my dad. [ Sniffles ] And everyone just they just throw their hands up and they shake their heads, and they just tell me I have to walk away, and I can’t do that. I mean, I can’t. I can’t just walk away. I mean, this is this is what makes Ava so dangerous because no one holds her accountable for what she has done, ever. And she’s not just a nuisance. She is a threat. She is a threat to everyone I love. And if I don’t stop her, she’s going to just she’s going to take away everyone I care about, and I… I have to stop her. Ava has to be stopped, and I have to stop her.
