In prison, Finn meets with Sheila for her pre-trial exam. Sheila reminisces about how Finn saved her life after a heart attack and expresses her love for him despite the pain she caused him. Finn remains professional but is visibly affected by their interaction. Later, he admits to feeling like he has been missing something in his life after hugging Sheila.
Meanwhile, Liam discusses his divorce with Steffy, who is surprised that Hope blames their past for their marital issues. Liam assures Steffy that he has moved on and respects her marriage to Finn. He apologizes for the kisses they shared recently and expresses his admiration for Finn, who had to deal with his mother’s troubled past.
At Forrester, Wyatt confronts Hope about her marriage issues with Liam and the kiss with Thomas. Hope blames Steffy’s presence in Liam’s life and the recurring cycle of unresolved feelings for their problems. Wyatt believes they have a solid foundation and family to fight for, but Hope feels Liam has stopped fighting for their marriage and chooses to end it.
