    Acorn TV today revealed the official trailer and premiere date for the three-part detective drama series Signora Volpe starring Emilia Fox (Silent Witness, Delicious, The Pianist). Filmed on location in the stunning Lazio and Umbria regions in Italy, this contemporary Acorn TV Original series will make its debut on Monday, May 2 on Acorn TV, AMC Networks’ acclaimed streamer devoted to British and international television. Episodes will continue to debut on Mondays through May 16. To the casual observer, there’s nothing remarkable about Sylvia Fox (Fox) – an intelligent, confident woman in her forties, she tends to keep quiet about her formidable linguistic abilities, impressive knowledge of weaponry, and skills as a markswoman. Questions about her professional life are met with bland answers about an unspectacular career in the Civil Service. Which is only very slightly true – because until recently, Sylvia was a high-ranking British spy. When Sylvia arrives in Italy for the wedding of her niece Alice, she’s disillusioned with her job at MI6 headquarters in London, and in need of a break. But then the bridegroom disappears, leaving a dead body in the lake at the bottom of his garden, and Sylvia takes it upon herself to solve the mystery and save Alice from disaster. Despite the unpromising start to her holiday, Sylvia is enchanted by Umbria, the green heart of Italy, and is surprised and pleased to find herself reconnecting with her estranged sister Isabel Vitale (Tara Fitzgerald – Game of Thrones, Belgravia), who lives in the handsome hillside town of Panicale. When she stumbles upon a beautiful, derelict old house, Sylvia decides to buy it, quit her job and start afresh. But Sylvia was never cut out for a quiet life and finds herself involved in a bevy of fresh mysteries – from the disappearance of a young woman a quarter of a century ago, to the theft of a truffle pig, and a blackmail plot against the son of a Russian politician. At first, Carabinieri Captain Giovanni Riva (Giovanni Cirfiera – American Crime Story; The Assassination of Gianni Versace, Queen of the South) resents Sylvia’s interference, but he soon begins to seek her help. In a new “20/20,” ABC News anchor John Quiñones has an exclusive interview with Harris, more than 20 years later, who speaks out about the reason he confessed to a crime he did not commit, the psychological damage he experienced and the search for Duniver in the woods behind her home where members of the search party found her body. With Duniver’s killer still at large, the program also features interviews with key trial witnesses and search party members who offer information about a suspicious mystery man they allegedly saw lurking at the search. It also reports on how, as a result of the “20/20” interviews, the district attorney asked authorities to speak to these witnesses, reigniting the case.     Controversial Texas attorney Catherine Shelton, now disbarred, has been dogged by questions surrounding the deaths of various men in her life. She has never been charged with murder. Shelton talks with contributor Jenna Jackson about the speculation surrounding her history and more, in the conclusion of 48 HOURS: “Chasing Catherine Shelton (Part 2),” to be broadcast Saturday, May 7 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+.     Shelton is a former defense attorney who has been trailed by allegations and headlines for decades. She’s been called a murderer, a stalker and a crazy lawyer.
    “People that really know me know that I’m not that way … who could be and live so long?” Shelton tells Jackson. “I’ve never killed anybody.”
    Jackson’s interview is the culmination of a decades-long game of cat and mouse between the producer and Shelton. In 2003, Jackson co-produced an edition of 48 HOURS on Catherine Shelton. For this investigation, Jackson and a team of legal experts reinvestigate many of the allegations against Shelton. And there are many. Starting in the 1970s, one of Shelton’s former boyfriends was bludgeoned to death, and another ex-boyfriend’s apartment was allegedly set on fire. A former client who authorities said accidentally hanged himself was found dead and naked in Shelton’s home. She says she had nothing to do with any of these incidents. She shot another boyfriend in the back. She admits to that but says it was self-defense. And there’s more …
    “If I had done a tenth of what has been said about me, I’d be dead, all right?” Shelton says.
    “Murder accusations?” Shelton says later. “It’s merely been people throwing mud at the wall and hoping some of it will stick.”

    WWE Raw preview (May 2, 2022): There’s finally a way for Roman Reigns to lose his gold
    Raw airs tonight (May 2) with a live show from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is the final Raw episode during the five week build towards WrestleMania Backlash, coming up on May 8.
    It initially looked like the main event of WrestleMania Backlash was going to be a tag team match unifying RK-Bro’s Raw tag titles with the Usos’ SmackDown tag titles. But everything changed last week when WWE added Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre into the mix, turning the match into a six man tag team bout. Now it will be Roman Reigns and The Usos vs. RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre. The key issue WWE still needs to address with this match is which championships are on the line.
    The addition of WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns introduces the possibility that one or both of his belts will be on the line in this match. Even though WWE claims the WWE championship and the Universal championship were unified at WrestleMania 38, Roman is still walking around with two separate titles. If WWE is looking to separate those titles ASAP, having Jimmy or Jey Uso take the pin at WrestleMania Backlash is one way to get the WWE championship away from Roman.
    WWE has used six man tag matches to dethrone their top champion before, such as when Vince McMahon was pinned at King of the Ring 2000 to cost his partner Triple H the WWF championship. If WWE puts exactly one of Roman’s titles on the line at Backlash, that could be where this is headed. More
