    • CBS BIG BROTHER: CELEBRITY EDITION – Thursday, February 3 Show More
Airing 2/3/22 (Th.) From bigbrothernetwork.com: Tonight On ‘Celebrity Big Brother 3’: Nominations Revealed
Tonight on CBS at 9/8c the Celebrity Big Brother 3 Houseguests are back for more following last night’s season premiere where eleven HGs moved in and one took control as the first Head of Household. Now it’s time to set those nominations and get this game underway.
In a tough endurance competition that lasted fives of minutes, we saw MMA champ Miesha Tate take the win and safety for Round 1 of CBB3. Now she’ll have to name two of her fellow HGs to sit on the Block and face potential eviction on Friday night.
But first, what’s in the box?? Julie teased a new twist of sorts with the “Gala Gift” that sat on the sidelines during the HOH competition. She explained it would boost one HG while pulling down another. We don’t know more on what all that means but expect to see that in tonight’s Big Brother episode.
After we get through that little bit of dramatic reveal I expect we’ll be watching Miesha debating between her nominations before a twist of the key to splash the photos on the memory wall. That should wrap up the night and get us rolling through Round 1 of Celebrity Big Brother 3. Remember there are a lot of rapid-fire episodes on this shortened schedule. Friday’s episode will be two hours long starting at 8/7c so we’ll get the Veto buildup and eviction vote. No word if that’ll be live or not. And hopefully, at some point, the Live Feeds will actually turn on because so far they are delayed without explanation.
    • CBS BIG BROTHER: CELEBRITY EDITION – Friday, February 4 Show More
Airing 2/4/22 (Fr.) 8:00 PM CBS – Episode 303 – Celebrity Big Brother 3 Eviction Prediction: Who Is Going Home Round 1?
Tonight on Celebrity Big Brother, one famous face will earn the not-so-coveted title of first evicted houseguest. But who will it be? Let’s discuss.
So as we saw on Thursday night’s episode, Head of Household Meisha thought Teddi would make a great first target, but then Mirai told Teddi, and Teddi told Todrick, and then Todrick told Miesha. You know, typical Week 1 Big Brother fare. So then Miesha switched her target to Mirai, putting her on the block with Carson as a pawn.
Fast forward to the veto competition, that we will see play out on tonight’s episode, and Carson apparently wins and takes himself on the block. We have also learned that Teddi apparently caused some drama sometime between nominations and the veto ceremony (bad move) and has landed herself on the block, and once again as Miesha’s target. So that deal we saw them kind of, sort of make on Thursday’s episode is now null and void, it would appear.
Based on last night’s Live Feeds debut, Teddi is definitely Miesha’s target, and she seems to have enough votes gathered to make it happen. BUT we have to remember that Cynithia has that curse purse power. She’s safe this week, but we know that her blessing is a curse for someone else. We aren’t exactly sure what that means yet, but there was some talk on the Live Feeds about Cynthia having the power to nominate someone. These celebs are very dicey in their conversations, so it’s really hard to pick up on everything they’re saying. So there is still a possibility that Cynthia could disrupt Miesha’s plans, especially considering that Cynthia does not seem to be on the same side as Miesha. But again, we cannot be totally sure.
    • CBS 48 HOURS – Saturday, February 5 Show More
2/5/22 (Saturday) (10:00 PM) on CBS. – FOR THREE DECADES, THE BRUTAL MURDERS OF FOUR TEENAGE GIRLS HAVE HAUNTED AUSTIN, TEXAS – COULD NEW INFORMATION LEAD TO THEIR KILLER?
“48 Hours” Investigates in “The Yogurt Shop Murders” Preview
Three decades ago, four teenage girls were brutally murdered in a yogurt shop in Austin, Texas. The horrific crime has haunted their families, the city, and the investigators who chased every lead in the case to a dead end. Could new information finally help solve the case? 48 HOURS and correspondent Erin Moriarty have been reporting on this case from the beginning and investigate the latest developments in “The Yogurt Shop Murders,” to be broadcast Saturday, Feb. 5 on the CBS Television Network and streamed on Paramount+.
“I can see them, I can still see the inside of that place,” says John Jones, the first investigator on the case, now retired from the Austin Police Department. “That stuff’s … indelibly burned in my mind.”
The story starts on Dec. 6, 1991, when Eliza Thomas, Sarah and Jennifer Harbison and Amy Ayers were tied up and shot. The yogurt shop was then set on fire. For decades, investigators worked to find suspects. There were eventually arrests and even convictions. But those convictions were overturned, leaving the case unsolved today.
“There is a kind of torture that continues by the fact that it’s unsolved and it’s ongoing,” says Sonora Thomas, who was 13 when her sister Eliza was killed.
      “It’s always there,” says Jones.
There may be some positive news, however. A small sample of male DNA was found on one of the victims. With DNA research advancing, investigators hope there will be a match that solves the case.
“Do you believe that there is right now, some evidence that could lead to the killers?” Moriarty asks Texas defense attorney Joe James Sawyer.
      “Yes,” Sawyer says.
“Is this the end of the beginning or the beginning of the end?” Jones asks.
48 HOURS and Moriarty go inside the investigation and report the case through the eyes of those who live it – the families, the investigators and more.
48 HOURS: “The Yogurt Shop Murders” is produced by Ruth Chenetz, Stephanie Slifer and Anthony Venditti. Michael McHugh is the producer-editor. Marlon Disla and Michelle Harris are the editors. Patti Aronofsky is the senior producer. Nancy Kramer is the executive story editor. Judy Tygard is the executive producer.
48 HOURS is broadcast Saturdays at 10:00 PM, ET/PT, on CBS, and streams anytime on Paramount+. There’s also a new way to watch 48 HOURS. You’ll find us on the CBS News Streaming Network Wednesdays at 8:00 PM, ET. Download the CBS News app on your cellphone or connected TV.
