Eric: Yeah, yeah.
Donna: Yeah. Remember?

Donna: You’re remembering.
Eric: Yeah, I am. Donna, I’m more than remembering.
Quinn: There’s been no change in eric’s condition. I was hoping there’d be a change, but…
Shauna: I’m so sorry.
Quinn: I’m not complaining. I’d happily be with eric no matter what.
Shauna: It’s obvious you love him. But what about you and carter and that whole arrangement? How are you feeling about him?
Brooke: Quinn is more devious than ever. She’s not to be trusted on any level.
Pam: Quinn’s motives have always been questionable.
Charlie: Yeah, I don’t think I could say we ever really trusted her.
Brooke: Keep that guard up.&
Pam: Has something happened?
Brooke: You don’t betray and disrespect the person that you love.
Pam: I hate hearing that. Eric deserves so much better.
Brooke: Yeah. Preaching to the choir.

Pam: Look, I know that eric did love quinn once upon a time. But after everything that she’s done like over all the years, do we even know how eric really feels about her now?
Hope: I can’t believe what I’m hearing, let alone seeing.
Deacon: Trust me, I get it. It’s shocking.
Sheila: Actually a wonderful surprise.

Sheila: We’re here. And it’s not a lie. I mean, no one was more surprised about this than we were. Falling in love was not an option– certainly not with deacon. But I got to know him. I got to know him through his letters. And just as I saw deacon, he saw me. And here we are.

Sheila: Who’s got time to waste. Right, sweetheart?
Deacon: Ah… can’t argue with that, right? It just happened fast.
Quinn: You’re my best friend, I’m not going to lie to you. Despite everything, of course I still think about carter, how can I not?
Shauna: You two fell hard for each other.
Quinn: I love carter, and I always will but… we can’t be together anymore. I’m committed to my husband.
Shauna: And I respect that so much, but it’s gotta be so difficult for you knowing that your husband may never be able to make love to you again.
Eric: Donna, I can’t believe what’s happened.
Donna: Is it–

Eric: Yeah. I can’t tell you how much this means to me. I can’T… would you mind, um, if i just held you for a minute?

Hope: What is it with you, sheila? First, out of, I don’t know, every single woman in the entire world, you just turn out to be finn’s birth mother, you know, steffy forrester’s husband. Now you’re saying that you became prison pen pals with my dad and just happened to fall in love?
Sheila: I know! I know. It sounds crazy! But it’s just, those little things– special like finn and deacon, you know, that’s what makes life exciting and precious. You know, you never know what’s going to be around that next corner for you. You two should really take a lesson here. When circumstances get really difficult, you hang in there.
Deacon: Mm-hm.
Sheila: ‘Cause life can change on a dime.
Hope: Wow, so this is not only a new and improved sheila, it’s optimistic sheila too.
Sheila: Well, why shouldn’t it be with everything that I’ve been given, hope? After all these years, I found my son. And he gave me a beautiful grandchild that I would really love to see. Again. And… I found love.
Brooke: I knew quinn would be a disaster for eric from the start. All her proclamations of so-called love was… was fake. She doesn’t even know the meaning of the word.
Charlie: You know, I’m not sure that’s entirely true. Never mind.
Brooke: No, go ahead, charlie. Say what you’re thinking.
Charlie: You know, i think that quinn actually loves eric in her own unique way. And come on, you can’t doubt her love for wyatt. Come on!
Pam: All right, well that may be true enough.
Brooke: Yeah, okay. I’ll give you wyatt, that’s her son. But, what about the man that she’s supposed to love? You don’t just do these things that she did to him. And I told you, you wouldn’t believe it. Your jaw would drop to the floor.
Pam: Yeah, well, I don’t think anything that she did would surprise me. I have seen first hand just how deceptive she can be. Quinn uses people.
Brooke: I don’t know what binds them together. But it’s not love. It can’t be.
Quinn: There’s so much more between me and eric than just the physical. I mean, we talk, and we laugh, and we dance. We… he plays the piano for me.
Shauna: That’s lovely. Companionship is the glue to hold a marriage together. You can’t deny the importance of an active sex life.
Quinn: If I have to live without it– if that’s the cost of being with the man I love– so be it.
Shauna: Oh, god, you’re so grown up. Who are you and what have you done with quinn?
Quinn: You know, happens to the best of us. Look, come oN. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying I’m resigned to a life of just holding my husband’s hand. And who knows? Things can turn around for us as quickly as it changed in the first place. Maybe that change’ll happen as early as tonight.
Eric: What a wonderful day this is for me and my life.
Donna: I am so thrilled for you.
Eric: I thought this was over, I thought this was… I thought this was never going to happen again after everything we’ve tried, and nothing has worked for me. And now this. I mean, for me to feel this way again so… so vital and so alive.

Donna: Yes.

Sheila: That’s kind of the way it is. Right? I mean, love doesn’t announce itself. It just kind of slips through the side window when you least expect it. And then there we are. There we are. Right? I’m actually very glad that we ran into the two of you. You need to know that your parents found one another. Can’t you just be happy for us? Your father and I, we served our time, we paid our debt to society. Now we have a chance at– at a really good life. A chance to make up for the wrong that we did. We just want an opportunity to show our families that we deserve love and the opportunity to be with our children. Right baby?
Deacon: Yeah. Mm-hm.
Brooke: Hey. We heard eric left a little while ago.
Donna: Yep. Mm-hm.
Brooke: “Yep?” That’s it? That’s all you’re gonna give me? I mean, were you able to be honest with him about your feelings for him?

Donna: In a way, yeah.

Donna: Don’t get too exited. I mean, we had A… a wonderful moment, but then he went home to his wife. As he should.

Donna: Afraid so.
Brooke: Uh, I was hoping eric would come to his senses and realize that you’re the woman he should be with.
Donna: Yeah, well, didn’t work out that way.
Brooke: I think he’s confused between commitment versus true love.
Donna: I couldn’t say, but if quinn is who he wants to be with, then I’m happy for him.
Brooke: I know you too well. You are holding something back.
Donna: Brooke, I don’T… I don’t want to get into all the details.
Brooke: Details? Donna, oh my gosh, tell me. What is it?
Eric: Quinn? Quinn, where are you?
Quinn: I’m upstairs but I’m coming down.

Quinn: And do what?
Eric: Just let me take a nice long look at you. Oh! Beautiful.
Quinn: Okay, can I come down now?

Quinn: I um… I may be wrong, but I’m sensing a little shift, right?
Eric: You know me so well.
Quinn: Of course I do, you’re my husband. I’m more aware of you than anyone. What happened?
Eric: I had the most amazing day. And I couldn’t wait to get home to you.
Quinn: Oh, well it’s my favorite part of the day, our end of the day wrap up. Let’s make some martinis, we’ll get some dinner, and you can tell me all about–
Eric: No, not interested in dinner.
Quinn: Mm! Wow.
Eric: Why don’t we, uh… why don’t we take this upstairs to the bedroom?
Quinn: Really?
Eric: Yeah.
Quinn: Seriously?
Eric: Seriously. Why don’t you, um, why don’t you show me the way.
Quinn: I know the way.
Eric: Do you?
Quinn: Yeah. Yeah. It’s right here. Come on.

Brooke: You have to tell me what happened between you and eric.
Donna: I– I didn’t say anything did!
Brooke: Well, I can see it all over your face. Now, don’t forget. I’m the one who told you to come clean about your feelings for him. So, if anything came up, you should tell me. Not that I wanna be a busy body. I don’t, it’s just I want you both to be happy. And preferably together.
Donna: Oh my gosh, stop. Okay, fine. I will tell you. Uh! I took your advice, all right? And I, um, told him how I felt, like you said. And I said that I missed him and us and I went so far as to say that he was the love of my life.
Brooke: Oh!
Donna: Yeah.
Brooke: Good for you.
Donna: And then I got misty and I started looking for a tissue in my purse, and right there where you couldn’t miss was… um, a honey bear bottle.
Brooke: He must’ve thought it was charming.
Donna: Well, yeah, and actually he was amazed because I admitted I have a stash in my drawer to remind me of the times that used to be.
Brooke: Aw. Ah… well, it sounds like you opened up. So, how did he react?
Donna: Um… I’m gonna keep that to myself, okay? Um, we had a, um, private exchange and then he went back to his wife. But, if I helped in any way at all, I’m happy.
Brooke: You know if you really wanna be with eric, you’re gonna have to be a little more assertive. I know if it was me, I would do anything to get quinn out of his life.
Donna: I’ve said it before, I just want eric to be happy, okay?
Brooke: Happy with quinn? He would have a much more meaningful and special life with you.

Quinn: I am so glad that you wanted to skip dinner and go straight to the bedroom. But–

Quinn: I have to ask, what inspired this sudden change?
Eric: I told you I had this, uh… I had this great day.

Eric: No. Personally.
Quinn: Mm…
Eric: Yeah. I haven’t felt this confident in a very, very long time. I think the old… the old eric is back and I am so glad to see him.
Quinn: Oh, I am so glad to see him too.
Eric: You’ve been so patient with me.
