Quinn: Carter…
Carter: There’s something so special, so beautiful between us. We can’t deny it anymore. So say yes. Say you’ll run away with me!
Brooke: Quinn should be ashamed of herself.
Donna: Ugh, that woman has no shame.
Brooke: Eric tells her about his E.D. And then suggests she fulfills her physical desires with carter.
Donna: Yeah, I’m shocked quinn actually took him up on it.
Ridge: Talkin’ about quinn and carter. Of course quinn took him up on it. She already had an affair with him and then her dad gave her a free pass.
Donna: You know it makes me wonder, for eric to do that, does he really love her?
Bill: I know I’ve mistreated you. I haven’t lived up to the promises I’ve made.
Katie: I’m sorry, bill, but I’ve heard all this before.
Bill: Yes, yes, yes you have. But katie, sitting in that jail cell day after day, it woke me up. I felt what it would be like to live the rest of my life without you. And it rocked me to my core. I can tell you with absolute certainty, that I will be a better man. I will be everything you need me to be. Just give me one more chance. Thomas: It is uh, it’s kinda crazy that we’re suddenly roommates.
Zende: I’m sorry that your house fell through. It sounded like a great deal.
Thomas: Yeah. It was ’til it wasn’T.
Paris: I bet there’s an even better place waiting out there for you.
Thomas: I just– I feel bad. You know, I mean, uh… thank you for insisting on me staying here. It’s great but it is your place now.
Paris: It’s the least I could do. I just, I want to make sure that you’re not uncomfortable with this living situation.
Zende: If you’re asking if I’m jealous or insecure… no. There’s no reason for me to be… is there?
Paris: Obviously, it would only be temporary.
Thomas: My agent is on the hunt for a new listing.
Paris: But if it’s too weird for you…
Zende: I wouldn’t you to go back to crashing on michelle’s couch.
Paris: That would be really bad for my back.
Zende: Mm…
Thomas: Look, it’s obvious how much you two care about each other, and, uh, I wouldn’t want to do anything to interfere with that.
Bill: I’ll never go back to who I used to be. I vow to be the kind of man that you can spend the rest of your life with and this time I mean it.
Katie: I would love to belive that but I have been burned so many times. I feel like I would be foolish to put myself in that situation again.
Bill: Let me show you. Let me prove that I deserve you.
Katie: I’m sorry, bill, but I think it’s too little, too late.
Donna: He’s afraid of being alone.
Ridge: He’s better off alone than being with quinn.
Brooke: Yeah. Why not put an end to it once and for all? Eric wouldn’t encourage a woman that he really cared about to jump in bed with another man.
Donna: He says it’s because of his medical condition. Maybe he just doesn’t trust his wife.
Brooke: Who could blame him?
Quinn: I wasn’t expecting this. My head is spinning. I feel like my heart is gonna beat out of my chest.
Carter: Yeah. Yeah, I feel the same way. Look, this situation is something I never imagined myself falling into, and I know it was wrong. We betrayed and hurt people we care about. But it doesn’t have to be wrong anymore. No more hiding. No more secret affairs.
Quinn: You would lose everything–
Carter: I don’t care! I’ll get a job somewhere else. You can have your own business again outside of forrester. The only thing that matters is you, quinn. The two of us building a future: I want that. Tell me you want that too. Yawns “okay okay, I’m up, I’m up!”
Zende: I didn’t come here just to drop off a housewarming gift. I have a special night planned for us.
Paris: Oooh, you do? Well, let me just grab my purse from the car and then we can go. Thank you so much for setting me up with this place.
Thomas: No worries. Thanks for letting me stay here.
Paris: We might need to redecorate a little bit.
Thomas: Go for it.
Paris: I’ll be right back.
Zende: I meant what I said earlier. I’m not the jealous type. But I want to make sure you know how serious I am about paris.
Thomas: Nah, I get it. You guys are in a relationship. You really care about each other. You don’t have to worry about that. But if you are feeling weird about this whole thing, us living together, tell me. ‘Cause I can find another place to live.
Zende: You’re my cousin, thomas. I trust you.
Bill: I don’t want to live without you. I don’t know how. Just tell me what you need from me. Just tell me and I will do it.
Katie: You should know by now.
Bill: Yes, of course. I should know, and I do know, it’s just that, I’m an idiot! I’m a selfish idiot. You need to be able to trust me. You need to have faith in my commitment to you. You need to be able to believe that you are the only woman for me, and katie, you are. You are.
Katie: Bill, I have let my walls down so many times, I have been vulnerable. I’ve tried to support you so many times but I’m exhausted. Aren’t you?
Bill: I never get exhausted, not when it comes to refusing to give up on us.
Katie: All the ups and downs and back and forth. I’m mean, it– it’s not healthy for anyone especially not will. I just don’t think that I can go back again. If we haven’t figured out by now, maybe we never will.
Bill: Don’t say that.
Katie: I want something different. I want my man to be mine. I need to know that he loves me and only me. And I need to believe that and I need to trust it. I want someone who wants companionship and a connection as much as I do. And I just don’t think that man is you.
Bill: Yes it is. I want that for myself, and I want that for you. And I know, I know that I am the man– the only man– who can make you truly happy. Because I touch your soul, and you touch mine. I will fight to win back my katie’s trust. I will fight to win back my katie’s heart and nothing and no one will get in my way.
Brooke: This whole arrangement is beneath him.
Ridge: It is beneath him. How do you do that as a man? How do you– how do you give carte blanche to your wife to be with someone else? I know he regrets it now, but…
Brooke: The damage is done.
Donna: Well, it’s obvious that eric is not a priority in quinn’s life. Maybe she’d be happier someplace else.
Quinn: I love you, too. And if I wasn’t already with eric… I would love to spend the rest of my life with you. The thought of running away with you right now, it’s incredible! But I’m married.
Carter: What are you saying?
Quinn: Carter, never doubt the depth of my feelings for you.
Carter: You can’t mean this.
Quinn: You really think that we could just give up everything…
Carter: Why not? All we need is you and me. We have the foundation to be and do whatever we want.
Quinn: It’s not that simple–
Carter: Yes, it is that simple. All we need is you and me! This connection we share! This love we have for each other. Are you saying it’s over? I’d risk it all for you!
Quinn: I know that. I know that and I love you for that! Carter, I have spent years becoming who I am. And I can’t just walk away from eric and the life that we built together! I need to go home… to my husband.
Carter: Quinn–
Quinn: No, carter. I can’T. I just can’T. Are you tired of clean clothes that just don’t smell clean?
[Chuckles]
Paris: Wow. How did you even do this?
Zende: I have my ways.
Paris: I am very surprised. You have the wine, the candles… my favorite flowers? Is that my favorite candy?
Zende: From that little place over on beverly.
Paris: The place where we went after our first date. Wow. You really know the way to a girl’s heart.
Zende: I figured instead of going out we could just stay here unless you want to go somewhere. We can obviously do that if you want to.
Paris: No, I like being right here. I would choose having you all to myself for a night rather than going out any day.
Zende: Me, too. Although, I do look forward to exploring your new neighborhood with you.
Paris: You’re sure you’re okay with it?
Zende: With thomas crashing at the place for a little bit? Paris, I told you. I’m fine with it. Because you would tell me if you weren’T…
Zende: I want you to feel settled somewhere. Until you’re ready to move in with me. Just, do me one favor?
Paris: Anything.
>>Zende: All the talk about thomas, can we put a pause on that for a minute?
Paris: Yeah, deal.
Zende: Good. Because tonight is about you. The amazing, beautiful girl who made me see the one thing I’ve always wanted. The one thing that was missing in my life. You.
Brooke: So, what’s it gonna take for eric to finally get quinn out of his system?
Ridge: I don’t know. He seems pretty committed. You know, every time I bring it up, he just sticks up for her. I don’t know what she has over him. You know, he just can’t say no to her.
Brooke: She needs to let him go. She had to stop stringing him along–
Ridge: You really think she’s gonna let him go?
Brooke: We can only hope. Oh, she is getting way too much out of this. The lifestyle. The fame. Being part of a powerful dynasty.
Brooke: But we’ve never accepted her into the family. And there is no way she could ever be the forrester matriarch. Donna: Well, she’s certainly been a dark presence in his life, that’s for sure.
Brooke: She destroyed eric’s confidence and his dignity by sleeping with carter.
Quinn: Carter, I have spent years becoming who I am. And I can’t just walk away from eric and the life that we built together! I need to go home… to my husband.
[Knocking]
Carter: Quinn?
Katie: I tried to stay away but I can’t stay silent any longer. Eric is such a wonderful man. How could you do this, carter? How could you? Charmin ultra soft has so much cushiony softness,
[Sighs]
[Chuckles softly]
Paris: We have all evening. And I want to enjoy every moment with you. Because tonight is the night that could change our lives forever.
Ridge: All right. Finally alone with my beautiful wife. Been wanting that all day.
Brooke: Mm-hm… [Giggles] How lucky are we?
Ridge: We’re 10 out of 10 in the lucky department.
Brooke: Yeah? You know, all that talk about quinn and eric just reminded me that we need to be grateful for what we have: Our wonderful relationship.
Ridge: Just gets better all the time, doesn’t it?
Brooke: You know, I was thinking. Maybe we should go home–
Ridge: Mm-hm.
Brooke: Order some food…
Ridge: Ok–
Brooke: Crawl into bed….
Ridge: You read my mind.
Brooke: Yeah?
[Knocking]
Brooke: Bill?
Ridge: How’d you get in here?
Bill: Didn’t mean to interrupt.
Ridge: So, we need locks on every door, apparently.
Bill: I need you, brooke. I need your help with katie.
Katie: I just don’t know how you could do something like this. I mean, quinn’s behavior will never surprise me, but you? It doesn’t make sense. You can’t just sleep with another man’s wife–
Carter: Katie…
Katie: I don’t care if eric “allowed” it. He wasn’t thinking clearly.
Carter: Eric insisted it was what he wanted.
Katie: He was embarrassed. He was embarrassed by his condition. He was hurt and vulnerable.
Carter: I realize that.
Katie: This affair was wrong from the very beginning. Every aspect of it. You’re too good for this, carter. At least I thought you were. I’m sorry to come at you so hard but you should see how defeated eric is… I mean at this point of his life, it should be peaceful, it should be rewarding. And he gets this thrown on his plate? Trust me, I am not just laying all the blame on you. I blame quinn. I mean clearly, she sucked you in and you let her do it. I don’t– I just don’t get it. I mean, you know what I’m saying is true. The forresters have done so much for you. Eric is the kindest and sweetest man I know. Ridge is your best friend, for god’s sake! I mean, I don’t get it, carter. How could you do something–
Carter: Because I loved her. Because I fell in love, that’s why. And does that make me a fool? You know, katie? You know, you’re right. You’re right about a lot of things. You usually are. I’m usually this logical, reasonable guy. I am. I’ve never made a poor decision like this in my life, and I did it because I thought I was in love. But I guess I’m not. Because she left. She left. She’s gone.
