  • Hulu RESERVATION DOGS – Monday, August 9 Show More
From Co-Creators and Executive Producers Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi, Reservation Dogs is a half-hour comedy that follows the exploits of four Indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma who steal, rob and save in order to get to the exotic, mysterious and faraway land of California. “Bear Smallhill” (D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai) is destined to be a warrior, and a leader. The only problem is he’s not a good fighter, and the gang doesn’t really consider him the leader. But with the guidance of a questionable spirit guide, he just might get there. “Elora Danan” (Devery Jacobs) may be the true leader of the group. But she’s so focused on getting to California, and so oblivious to her own power, that she often can’t see the beauty and goodness in herself and all around her. Smart-mouthed tough girl “Willie Jack” (Paulina Alexis) is the beating heart of the group. She’s always looking out for her crew. Meanwhile, “Cheese” (Lane Factor) is the gentle, quiet ride-or-die who is so willing to go along with the group that he never stops to consider what his own dreams might be. One year ago, Daniel, the fifth member of the Reservation Dogs, died. Struggling to make sense of the loss, the remaining four blame the reservation, its poverty and its ability to crush the spirit. They decide to honor Daniel by adopting his dream of getting to California as their own. To succeed, they will have to save enough money, outmaneuver the methheads at the junkyard on the edge of town, constantly dodge conspiracy-obsessed Lighthorseman “Big” (Zahn McClarnon) and survive a gang war against a much tougher rival gang, led by the enigmatic “Jackie” (Elva Guerra). Reservation Dogs has Native rappers, catfish, Indigenous superstitions and spirits both hilarious and terrifying, laughter, tears, unexpected grandmothers, decent people, terrible people and a cavalcade of supporting characters who color and shade this already vibrant world. Filmed on location in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Reservation Dogs is a breakthrough in Indigenous representation on television both in front of and behind the camera. Every writer, director and series regular on the show is Indigenous. This first-of-its-kind creative team tells a story that resonates with them and their lived experiences – and invites audiences into a surprisingly familiar and funny world. Promo

  • Sundance Now THE HUNT FOR A KILLER – Thursday, August 12 Show More
The Hunt for a Killer, premiering exclusively in North America and available as a full season binge on Sundance Now and AMC+ on Thursday, August 12, is a crime drama based on the true story of detectives Pelle Åkesson (Anders Beckman, Midsommar) and Monica Olhed (Lotten Roos, The Bridge) and their hunt for the killer of 10-year-old HelĂŠn Nilsson, a case that shook Sweden to its core. In March 1989, the sadistic murder of HelĂŠn in HĂśrby, a small town in southern Sweden, traumatized the nation. A seemingly impossible case, it remained unsolved for 15 years, leaving the small community and the police force entrusted to protect it with a painful open wound. On the night HelĂŠn disappeared, there were about twenty suspected pedophiles living in HĂśrby. This is the prelude to The Hunt for a Killer, which follows the unwavering journey of the two detectives Åkesson and Olhed who led an investigation team that solved numerous homicides in southern Sweden and who would eventually, against all odds, find HelĂŠn’s killer. The Hunt for a Killer is a story about a region left behind, class inequalities and social exclusion, but it’s also a story about a man of integrity who pushed back against the authorities, revolted against corruption and never gave up. • CBS BIG BROTHER – Sunday, August 8 Show More
Episode 14 (Season 23) – Airing 8/8/21 (8:00 PM) – From bigbrothernetwork.com: The new Power of Veto spoilers for Big Brother 23 are in and we’ve got the results setting us up for the final noms of Week 5. Will the Head of Household get to make that Backdoor move or will the plan get scraped? Read on for this week’s PoV spoilers!
Players today included HOH Derek X with his noms Britini and Sarah plus drawn/picked players: Kyland, Claire, and Alyssa. Good grief. So will it come to that?
  • CBS LOVE ISLAND – Sunday, August 8 Show More
Episode 324 – Airing 8/8/21 (9:01PM) – From screenrant.com: Season 3 episode 24 will show all the consequences of Charlie Lynch re-coupling with Alana Paolucci and ultimately eliminating fan-favorite Cashay Proudfoot. Furthermore, the public had the chance to vote for their favorite couple once again, which means that the couples with the least amount of votes might be at risk of getting eliminated. Aside from Charlie & Alana, the current couples are Bailey Marshall & Jeremy Hershberg, Elly Steffen & K-Ci Maultsby, Olivia Kaiser & Korey Gandy, Kyra Lizama & Will Moncada, and Trina Njoroge & Andre Luis Brunelli.
With Cash, Shannon, and Josh all being gone from Love Island USA now, one could argue that Will & Kyra will be the next obvious frontrunners. However, that theory is just not adding up for a lot of fans. For a second there, it seemed like Korey & Bailey would be worth rooting for, but his awful indecisiveness allowed Jeremy to couple up with her. Meanwhile, Olivia appears to be head-over-heels for Andre right now, so that’s a potential new couple that the viewers could (maybe) get behind with some time. With that said, Trina is now emerging as a very strong frontrunner to win the entire show – all she needs is to couple up with a great guy that the fans could get behind.
  • CBS LOVE ISLAND – Tuesday, August 10 Show More
Episode 325 – Airing 8/10/21 (9:00PM) – From screenrant.com: Season 3 episode 25, the islanders will get a wake-up call as they find out a few things that the fans are saying about them on social media. Charlie Lynch might not know it yet, but the public is not on his side, which could affect this new relationship with Alana Paolucci. Meanwhile, Kyra Lizama might hear things about Will Moncada on tonight’s episode that she won’t enjoy very much.
Trina Njoroge keeps rising as the new frontrunner to win Love Island USA, but it is unclear if the public would vote for her to win if she stays coupled up with Andre Luis Brunelli until the end. Elsewhere in the villa, Korey Gandy and Olivia Kaiser seem more confident about their relationship than ever. It’s also noteworthy that Jeremy Hershberg is shooting his shot with Bailey Marshall, and she’s reciprocating, slowly but surely.
  • CBS BIG BROTHER – Wednesday, August 11 Show More
Episode 15 (Season 23) – Airing 8/11/21 (8:00 PM) – From bigbrothernetwork.com: It’s back tonight (8/7c) for the Power of Veto show as Derek Xiao’s power move is in play and he’s got another hurdle to clear if he wants the Backdoor to run smoothly this week. We’ll get to see the Veto comp and meeting by the end of the night.
Prizes and punishments are up for grabs in this week’s Veto comp which leads to a surprising choice over which way this week could go. And this also means it’s the return of silly costumes and annoying punishments.
The teams are no more but don’t tell the HGs that as most everyone seems to be still trying to work together but if DX pulls off his plan that’ll level the field a little more against the Kings team. Meanwhile, the real controlling threat continues to be the Cookout alliance and they’re having some fighting within but still in the position to decide the evictions.
We’re closing in on the Jury phase of the season and these Houseguests are going to have to start making some tough decisions on who they want with them closer to the end. Another HOH and new target isn’t far away on BB23.
  • CBS LOVE ISLAND – Wednesday, August 11 Show More
Episode 326 – Airing 8/11/21 (9:01PM) – From screenrant.com: Season 3 episode 26 will feature the aftermath of Kyra Lizama finding out what the public and the other islanders think of her relationship with Will Moncada. They really thought that things would be smooth sailing from here on out, but things are rocky between Will and Kyra right now. Trina Njoroge was understandably annoyed at the tweet calling her a “leftover,” but quickly shook it off. Alas, the status of her relationship with Andre Luis Brunelli is more uncertain than ever.
Speaking of annoyances on Love Island USA, Olivia Kaiser got very upset at the suggestion that she’s acting when it comes to her feelings for Korey Gandy. There’s no telling if this latest message will affect their blossoming relationship, but Korey didn’t seem too bothered by it. Meanwhile, Jeremy Hershberg showed more vulnerability to Bailey Marshall than he had displayed all season long, and it will probably strengthen their relationship significantly. When it comes to Charlie Lynch, he really didn’t hear anything that bad from the public, and Alana Paolucci’s message was very positive. Alas, Alana’s concerns pertaining to Charlie could persist.
  • CBS BIG BROTHER – Thursday, August 12 Show More
Episode 16 (Season 23) – Airing 8/12/21 (8:00 PM) – From bigbrothernwork.com: Tonight on Big Brother 23 (8/7c) we’re back for the next eviction of the season with the live vote, the next Head of Household competition, and a new HOH for the coming week. We’re ready to find out who gets evicted and who wins power for Week 6.
Last night’s episode left us on a cliffhanger ending but of course our spoilers revealed everything that happened with that Veto meeting and it’s set us up for quite a bit of energy as the latest round of BB23 wraps up.
  • CBS LOVE ISLAND – Thursday, August 12 Show More
Episode 327 – Airing 8/12/21 (9:00PM) – From screenrant.com: The last elimination round of the season will get started on Love Island USA season 3 episode 27, leaving four finalist couples to battle it out for $100,000 at the grand finale. After a month-long journey of love, friendship, and heartbreak, the third season of Love Island USA is getting close to the end. Trina Njoroge and Andre Luis Brunelli are a fairly new friendship, but they are one of the favorite pairings to win the show. Also pulling ahead are Olivia Kaiser and Korey Gandy, who are very confident about their feelings right now.
On the other hand, after their month-long Love Island USA honeymoon, Will Moncada and Kyra Lizama are in a very bad position right now in this competition. It’s likely that they’ll still make it to the finale over other couples that were formed later in the season, but it looks like there’s no way that they’re placing high at the finale. Jeremy Hershberg and Bailey Marshall have grown with some fans, so they could go all the way to the end. Alas, the fate of Charlie Lynch and Alana Paolucci is still uncertain.

  • CBS LOVE ISLAND – Friday, August 13 Show More
Episode 328 – Airing 8/13/21 (9:00PM) – Season 3 episode 28 will usher in the beginning of the end, so it’s time for the fans to vote for a couple to win. The remaining couples are Alana Paolucci & Charlie Lynch, Bailey Marshall & Jeremy Hershberg, Kyra Lizama & Will Moncada, and Olivia Kaiser & Korey Gandy. Many fans thought that Trina Njoroge was going to win the season regardless of who she was coupled up with, but her last-minute elimination alongside Andre Luis Brunelli changed the entire game.
With those four remaining couples on Love Island USA, it is starting to look like Olivia & Korey could win the show. One could argue that Kyra & Will have been a more stable couple on the show, but lots of fans are thrown off by Will’s behavior during and after Casa Amor, which puts them in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Jeremy & Bailey seem to have grown with the fans in recent weeks, but the public is still not rooting for Charlie on the show.

A 24-year-old Texas college student was found murdered the morning after meeting a man in a bar. Was she killed because she looked like the killer’s ex-girlfriend? Caitlin Mathis, the ex-girlfriend of killer Charles Bryant speaks out about her relationship with Bryant and her fears for her own safety in an encore of 48 HOURS: “The Murder of Jackie Vandagriff,” to be broadcast Saturday, Aug. 14 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Reported by Jim Axelrod, the broadcast explores the life and death of Jackie Vandagriff, whose body was discovered in a weeded area near a footpath next to Grapevine Lake, in Grapevine, Texas, on Sept. 14, 2016. Police soon uncovered video of the man she was last seen with in some college bars in Denton, Texas. That man was Bryant. Vandagriff had met him by chance after walking into a bar looking for a job. She had no idea that he had a history of stalking Mathis, his ex-girlfriend, who lived on campus across the street. The case raises the question of whether Vandagriff was targeted because she resembled Bryant’s ex-girlfriend. Asked by Axelrod if it was possible Byrant took out his rage for Mathis on Vandagriff, Mathis says: “Most definitely. I think that he really wanted to kill me. I think he wanted me dead.” Watch a Preview.
