    The AMC+ Original six-part revenge thriller The Beast Must Die, starring BAFTA Award-winning actor Jared Harris (Chernobyl, Mad Men) and Cush Jumbo OBE (The Good Wife, The Good Fight), will premiere on Monday, July 5 on AMC+ and on Monday, July 12 at 10:00PM ET/PT on AMC. After learning the police investigation into the fatal hit and run of her young son Martie has been dropped, Frances Cairnes (Jumbo) takes matters into her own hands. Posing as a novelist researching a new murder-mystery, Frances ingratiates herself with the family of George Rattery (Harris), the man she suspects is responsible, and sets a plan in action to kill him. She’s tracked by detective Nigel Strangeways (Billy Howle, The Serpent, MotherFatherSon), who has reason to believe his department covered up George’s involvement in the incident. Suffering from PTSD following the recent death of his partner, Strangeways throws himself into pursuing justice for Martie. But when he discovers an “undercover” Frances living with George and his family, Strangeways finds himself working to both prove George’s guilt and head off Frances’s plans for revenge before anyone else dies. With the series continuing to evolve even now, a new title carves itself into the series’ history. This series is entitled RESIDENT EVIL: Infinite Darkness. This new series will be produced and supervised by Capcom’s Hiroyuki Kobayashi, who is responsible for bringing numerous titles in the Resident Evil series into existence. TMS Entertainment, which has birthed various anime series, will produce the series, while Quebico, led by Kei Miyamoto, the producer of Resident Evil: Vendetta, will be in charge of the full 3DCG animation production. This will be a horror-action series based around the stories of the two popular characters, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield.     A two-hour “20/20,” with reporting by anchor David Muir, features interviews with Erin DeRoche and Kati Reynolds, daughters of Karl Karlsen, who nearly got away with the murder of his wife and son in incidents occurring nearly 18 years apart. Reynolds and DeRoche open up to “20/20” about the heartbreak they felt after losing their mother, Christina Karlsen, and brother, Levi Karlsen; their relationship with Karl over the years; their constant suspicion that Karl started the house fire that killed Christina; the horror they felt when they realized Karl killed Levi; and their lives now with Karl behind bars. The program details Karl’s bold motivation that prosecutors say fueled the two murders; how he managed to avoid punishment for Christina’s murder for nearly 30 years, despite evidence of arson; how he almost got away with Levi’s murder; and the shocking speculation about who could have been his next victim. “20/20” also features interviews with family members close to the story including Mike Karlsen, Karl’s brother; Colette Bousson, Christina’s sister; Art Alexander, Christina’s father; and Cindy Best, Karl’s ex-wife, whom he married after Christina’s death. “20/20” airs on Friday, July 9 (9:01-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
