TV Interview!

Interview with Waleed Zuaiter of “High Value Target: The Hunt for Saddam” on TNT by Suzanne 9/29/26
This is such a good miniseries. If you haven’t watched it yet, it’s just 8 episodes of outstanding drama. The writing and directing team ably combines military action scenes with political and personal drama. Joel Kinnaman brings his chameleonic acting to the role of John Nixon, a CIA operative who is able to finagle his way to Iraq and find Saddam Hussein because he’s also a historian who thinks he knows everything about the dictator. He’s a bit obsessed with him, in fact. The miniseries is based on Nixon’s book, “Debriefing the President: The Interrogation of Saddam Hussein.” Last week we had a nice chat with Waleed Zuaiter, who co-starred with Kinnaman, playing Saddam Hussein. His transformation is no less amazing that Kinnaman’s. He shares his unique perspective about Hussein and Iraq. Please enjoy the video and the series!
You can watch the series on TNT, On Demand, or on streaming. New episodes of the political thriller premiere on subsequent Sunday and Monday evenings at 9pm ET/PT, culminating with the finale on Sunday, October 4 on TNT.
