Tomas and Eva met at Orphey Gene’s to talk about Izaiah. She wondered what was going on with him and her father. Tomas assured her that her father was a fair person. While they were talking, Leslie arrived. She chased Tomas off. Leslie revealed to Eva that she was the reason that Izaiah and Ted were together. Eva wasn’t happy about it. She was suspicious of her mother’s motives when Leslie urged her to get married to Izaiah. Eva realized she was rushing their relationship because Izaiah’s family were in law enforcement. Leslie thought it would be helpful to have them in her pocket with Kat sniffing around. Eva threatened to make her mother pay if she screwed up her relationship with Izaiah. Ted met with Izaiah and invited Carlton to meet with them to play basketball. They ran into Kial. The three men were on the basketball court. After the game, Kial and Carlton got into it in the spa. Kial accused Carlton of playing dirty. Carlton said that Kial wasn’t as good as he said he was. Nicole called Carlton to ask him out for dinner, but he couldn’t do it because he had a prior commitment.
Ted and Izaiah talked about his intentions with Eva. He warned Izaiah that Leslie was already referring to him as her future son-in-law. Bill told Hayley that he thought it was time for them to try for a baby. Hayley did everything she could to stall the conversation. She promised that they could start trying for a baby after they’ve been cleared by the doctors. They were talking when Tomas arrived to talk about Lynette’s case. He found something interesting while he was investigating her. Tomas noticed that she had no presence on the Internet. Bill wasn’t bothered by that. Tomas asked if she knew anything about Lynette and completely overreacted to the question.
