Deacon: It’s a black diamond, just like spencer’s heart. Guess he really does want to marry you.
Sheila: He does. He wants to marry me. I– I can’t believe this is happening.
Bill: Any update?
Chen: There’s been no movement. Sheila’s still at sharpe’S.
Ridge: I’m hoping your girlfriend’s gonna make an honest man out of you.
Bill: Can it, dressmaker.
I’m putting on the performance
of a lifetime over here.
Ridge: Okay. Yeah, well, she’s buying it.
Bill: She better be
buying it because I can’t
stand another night with that
woman. In fact, I can’t stand
another moment with that
whack job.
Ridge: It’s all right. Hang in there. It’s almost over.
[ Bill sighing ]
Thomas: It’s still weird seeing me here, huh?
Hope: Yeah, but also, not that weird, if that makes sense.
Thomas: Yeah, it does. It’s like we fell right back into a groove. No time lost.
Hope: I’ll admit, I had my doubts about us being able to work together after everything we’ve been through, but.
Thomas: Yeah, but you were willing to give me another chance.
Hope: Well, I’ve seen the hard work you’ve put into it. I mean, the apologies you’ve made, the behavior that backs it up and yeah, I am glad you’re back on hope to the future, but that’s actually um, not what I came here to talk to you about. I, um, I needed to talk to you about something else.
Thomas: I think I know what you’re thinking. The adjustments made to the halter. Honestly, I think that–
Hope: No, thomas. The adjustments were great. They were fine. You actually read my mind, like you always do. No, this is um… look, I know you and steffy had some sort of conversation about uh…
Thomas: About back when you said that I was hot.
Hope: Sure, yeah, uh… I just wanna make sure that going forward that it’s–
Thomas: Hey, don’t even think about it. Look, sometimes people say things. They think they’re talking in confidence and honestly, it’s not that big of a deal. I completely understand that us working together is nothing more than us creating this amazing, wonderful line together and that’s it. And, we’ve always worked well together. I do remember it really well.
Douglas: Dad’s the best.
[Applause]
Thomas: You were right. Look at– look at the audience’s reaction. They’re loving it. We’re an incredible team. We have a son together and we have this line together and I promise I will not do anything to ever make things weird between us again.
Chen: Sheila being at sharpe’s this long could prove problematic.
Ridge: I don’t think so. I think whatever guilt she’s feeling about her little affair with deacon is gonna drive her right back into bill’s arms.
Chen: Bill, you’re the resident sheila expert.
Ridge: Do you ever feel like some of the feelings he’s pretending to have, that maybe their real? ‘Cause–
Bill: No, this is great.

Ridge: I’m just messing with you. No hair jokes. Come on. I’ve been stuck in here with– I’ve been stuck in here and the only fun I have is making fun of you, so.
Bill: I’m glad I can
provide some entertainment
for you clowns.
Ridge: See? You’re providing something. Thank you. Can you please get back to work?
Bill: Don’t worry about it. I’ll be laser focused. When sheila gets back here, I’ll slip that rock on her finger and get her to confess to first degree murder.
Sheila: I never, in a million years, expected bill to propose to me. He’s just… he’s more than I ever thought he could be. He’s kind and generous.
Deacon: Generous? Sheila, I think if you look a little deeper in that ring box, you’re gonna find a nice, shiny pre-nup.
Sheila: No. He says he doesn’t one.
Deacon: What? You gotta be kidding me. This is california. He’s not just gonna risk half his fortune.
Sheila: He says it’s not necessary. That he has everything he needs and that that’s me. Deacon, I just– I can’t believe this. I am going to be free and I’m gonna be filthy rich.
Deacon: What’s the matter?
Sheila: It’s just that, I really have to wonder. Is this really bill spencer? Some people have minor joint pain plus stomach problems.
Hope: These are a real departure from the last campaign.
Thomas: Well, it’s kinda the evolution I’m talking about. You know, your thoughts, your feelings and your outlook on life, it changes and your line should reflect that.
Hope: Well, I can’t wait.

Thomas: Zende and I have been working really well together. Honestly, I’m just– I’m just excited that you are stoked about the line and working together on it.
Hope: Yeah, I know. Feels good.
Thomas: And what about liam? Everything okay with him? Look, I don’t ever want to put any kind of stress on your marriage.
Hope: I appreciate that, thomas. I really do, but there’s nothing to worry about. Liam and I, we’re fine.
Chen: Sheila’s still at sharpe’S.

Ridge: All right, take a breath.
Bill: Don’t tell me

Deacon: What do you mean, “is this really bill?”
Sheila: It seems so amazing, doesn’t it? Him proposing to me, no pre-nup? Professing his love?
Deacon: Yeah, it’s amazing, definitely. I mean, are you sure, really sure, this is the real deal?
Sheila: It sure feels that way.
Deacon: I guess passion and connection can’t compete with freedom and the good life.
Sheila: I care for you, deacon.
Deacon: I know. Listen. Bill came in, swept you off your feet.
Sheila: Can you even imagine me, mrs. Bill spencer?
Deacon: This is everything you’ve ever wanted. Why question it?
Sheila: I don’t know, I just… I hope he hasn’t been compromised some how.
Deacon: I– I mean, I guess it’s possible, but don’t sell yourself short. You came into his world, you turned it upside down. Sheila, you are intoxicating. I know that first hand.
[ Sheila chuckling ]
Sheila: It’s just with– with bill, there’s something that’s just missing.
Deacon: Like a brain? Conscience? Maybe a soul?
Sheila: You know, bill can seem so far away. Deacon, he can look right at me and I don’t know what he’s thinking.
Deacon: Look, did I hear correctly? That the prince of darkness actually wants to marry you without a pre-nup? Sheila, that should tell you everything that bill’s thinking. Diabetes can serve up a lot of questions,
Thomas: I– I love this fabric, you know? It holds–
Hope and thomas: The pattern so nicely.

[ Phone ringing ]
Sheila: Uh, it’s bill.
Deacon: Speak of the devil, literally. Go ahead, take it.
Sheila: Hi, bill.
Bill: You okay? I thought you’d be home by now.
Sheila: I just, uh, had a lot to process. I’ve got a lot to think about.
Bill: Good things, I hope.
Sheila: Yes. Everything that you’ve done for me, I… I’m speechless. I don’t know what to say.
Bill: Sure you do. Just get home so we can plan our future together.
Sheila: I’ll be home shortly. I promise.
Bill: I love you.

[ Bill sighing ]
Bill: Hey.
Ridge: Can you take it easy with the I love yous please?
Bill: Why don’t you relax,
all right? Sometimes, using
a lot of cheese is the best
way to catch a rat.
Ridge: Can you please just focus? She’s gonna be home soon.
Bill: Oh, I am more than ready for this nightmare to end. Our families are going to be safe. Sheila carter is going down today.
Sheila: Bill wants me to come home. He says we have a future to plan.
Deacon: Invite me to the wedding.
Sheila: Huh?
Deacon: You’re still freaked out.
Sheila: I just– it’s not that I’m freaked out, it’s just not what I was expecting.
Deacon: Believe me, I didn’t expect spencer to propose to you either.
Sheila: So, what are you saying? Are you saying that I shouldn’t trust him?
Deacon: That’s not what I said. Come here. Come here. You and I had some amazing times together and I’ll never forget you. Now, you gotta go. Go make your future. Go. I’m steve.
Ridge: How many candles are you lighting? You’re gonna burn down the place.
Bill: Relax, grandma.
I’m setting the mood.
Ridge: What about the rose petals? You gonna do that?
Bill: Yeah, yeah.
Don’t rush me.
Chen: Sheila’s entering the grounds.
Ridge: She’s coming up the driveway.
Bill: It’s showtime.
Ridge: All right. We’ve got your back.
[ Car approaching ]

[ Sheila chuckling ]
Sheila: Is this all for me?
Bill: This and more.
Sheila: It’s beautiful.
Bill: I’ve been anxiously waiting for you to get home. There’s so much ahead of us.
Sheila: Like planning
our future.
Bill: Exactly like that.
Sheila: I’m sorry. My… my head is just spinning right now.
Bill: Well, slow it down. I love you. Nothing’s changed.
Sheila: Oh, no. It’s marriage. That’S… that’s commitment, making me your wife.
Bill: We’ve been on this crazy ridge together, haven’t we? I mean, who would’ve ever thought bill spencer and sheila carter?
Sheila: Absolutely no one.
Bill: Absolutely no one and that’s– that’s the beauty of it. We both tried our hands unsuccessfully at love and why? Because we chose the wrong people. Eric could never give you what I can. Brooke, katie– they never loved me for me. They tried to change me, but not you.
Sheila: No, I never would.
Bill: No. I need this. There has never been anything more important to me in my life. I’ve burned every bridge for you and I would do it all again. That’s how much this means to me. I wanna give you the life you deserve, but I can’t do that if you keep holding back. We can’t have any more walls. We can’t have any more secrets. I mean, look at you.
