Diane: [ Sniffles ] [ Sighs ] On second thought, I — I would love to spend the night in one of your guest rooms. Thank you.
Jack: It’s the least I can do. I want you to feel safe and protected. This is the best place for you. I’m gonna text mrs. Martinez, tell her you’re spending the night.
Diane: I — I don’t know what I would do without you. I mean, honestly, jack, I am…
[ Voice breaking ] I am just so tired.
Jack: Hey. Hey. You can turn in whenever you’re ready.
Diane: [ Crying ] No, it’s — it’s not about — it’s not about today or [Sniffles] — Or what happened with jeremy. I just feel like these last few months have been such a journey, home and — and earning a place in my son’s life. I feel like every time that i overcame an obstacle, there would just be another boulder thrown in my path.
Jack: And somehow you have moved every single one out of your way. I admire that.
Diane: [ Sniffles ] Well, if I have, I — I owe it to you.
Jack: Don’t give me too much credit.
Diane: [ Chuckles ]
Jack: You’ve made giant strides.
Diane: I have worked so hard to get past those dark days, you know, living in fear of — of being arrested or some other escalation on jeremy’s part, afraid of — afraid of the demands he’d make on my — on my freedom or — or even my life.
Jack: You have had more than your share of challenges, and you have faced them all with grace and elegance.
Diane: Well, I don’t know about that, but if it’s true, I — I — I do give you the credit.
Jack: Wait. How so?
Diane: Because it’s been…
[ Sniffles ] It’s been so long since I’ve had somebody looking out for me and caring for me. And now I have you and I — I have kyle. And I just can’t tell you how — how much it means to me to
[Sobbing] Not be alone anymore.
Jack: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
Diane: [ Sobbing ]
Jack: Hey. Hey.
[ Cellphone pings ]
Diane: Oh, god, I’m sorry.
Jack: No, let me just — let me just check this.
Diane: Okay. I’m sorry.
[ Groans ]
Jack: [ Inhales deeply ]
Diane: Is everything alright?
Jack: Yeah. Uh… this is something I have to deal with, though. Um…I promise you, I will be right back.
Diane: What? You’ve got to leave? What happened?
Tucker: Care for a drink? Or maybe a watch to replace the one that’s obviously broken?
[ Chuckles ]
Audra: Apologies for being tardy, but I do have a life of my own and a job at chancellor-winters. What was this urgent information I needed to know?
Tucker: I have been informed that jeremy stark is in genoa city.
Audra: Fresh out of federal prison and he finds his way here? That’s not a coincidence.
Tucker: No. And I’m sure he wants to make diane squirm.
Audra: She must be absolutely terrified. I mean, he has to be looking for a little revenge, right? But what about you? Should you strap on a bulletproof vest in case stark comes looking for you?
Tucker: [ Chuckles ]
Noah: Adam.
Adam: What?
Noah: It’s good to see you, man.
Adam: [ Chuckles ] Nephew. It’s been a while.
Noah: Yeah. Yeah, I guess it has.
Adam: Uh, well, if you’re worried that your father’s gonna show up and there’s gonna be another round of uncomfortable sibling rivalry, you don’t have to worry.
Noah: Alright. I’m glad to hear it.
Adam: Saw nick earlier. I’m pretty sure he’s otherwise occupied.
Noah: Okay, then.
Adam: Alright. Well, I’ll let you get to it. But if you see a server, maybe you could send them my way?
Noah: Yeah. Will do.
Adam: Thank you.
Lily: Okay, I love crimson lights. I do. But this is your post-dinner surprise?
Daniel: Yeah. Thought you could use some dessert.
Lily: I said no to the dessert menu at society.
Daniel: I know. But I know that you still wanted something sweet. You just didn’t want it from there.
Lily: [ Chuckles ] Okay. Are you psychic now?
Daniel: Mm. Better. Impeccable memory. How could I ever forget how much lily winters loves dessert?
Lily: [ Laughs ] Okay, fine. Red velvet cupcake and a cappuccino.
Daniel: Cappuccino? At this hour?
Lily: Yeah, you know, a ceo’s work is never done.
Daniel: Uh, you’re not really gonna go back to work? I know that was the plan, but it’s getting late.
Lily: No, I have to get back. I have a lot of deadlines pending. But thank you for tagging along.
Daniel: Ooh. Oh, I see. You — you think that this was all about you? Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. See, I’m here for some of that red velvet cupcake action, too.
Lily: Okay, well, you better get your own ’cause I’m not sharing.
Daniel: I remember.
Lily: You remember?
Daniel: Yeah. I do.
[ Laughter ] For people who are a little intense about hydration.

Lily: [ Chuckling ] Hi.
Billy: Hey. What a nice surprise. I, uh — I don’t have to bring your brownie home now.
Lily: [ Chuckles ]
Daniel: Billy. It’s good to see you again.
Billy: Hey. Good to see you.
Daniel: You want to join us?
Lily: Oh, no. I’m sure billy is tired from his latest mission of mercy, right?
Sharon: Oh, I thought I heard familiar voices out here.
Daniel: Does that include mine?
Sharon: What a great surprise. It’s so good to see you. How are you?
Daniel: I’m doing good. I’m doing really, really good.
Sharon: Oh! Glad you’re here. What can I get you?
Daniel: Um… you know, how about, uh — I’m gonna go take a look at the counter and get a closer look at everything.
Sharon: Yeah. Be my guest. You know, the menu’s changed a little since you were here last.
Daniel: Ooh.
Billy: So, what happened to grabbing take-out and burning the midnight oil?
Lily: Well, that was the plan, but then I ran into daniel, so we decided to grab dinner together.
Billy: I see.
Lily: Yeah. What about you? I thought you were gonna be home. But I’m guessing something or someone kept you out? I’m assuming it was chelsea?
Billy: Yeah. I, uh — I brought chelsea some food, watched a little bit of a movie, and I’m happy to say that laughter really is the best medicine.
Lily: Good. I’m glad you cheered her up.
Billy: [ Sighs ] Can we grab some dessert and just, uh — just head home together?
Lily: I can’T. I have more work to do, so I’m gonna get back to the office after I finish my evening with daniel.
Billy: Okay, well, I’ll wait up for you. I would like to, uh, talk about the conversation that you had with chelsea.
Lily: I already told you about that.
Billy: Yeah, I know, but, um… well, hearing it from chelsea, it sounds like you’re making her think that, uh, she’s too dependent on me. And I know that’s how you feel, but I just can’t imagine that you would say those exact words to someone that is in such an emotional, vulnerable state.
Jack: That text was from a business associate in manila who needs some numbers from me, and unfortunately they are in a folder in my laptop at work.
Diane: But it’s so late.
Jack: It is early in the philippines, and I promised him I’d get it to him by the start of business day in london.
Diane: Well, I guess duty calls.
[ Chuckles ]
Jack: I won’t be gone long, okay?
Diane: [ Sighs ] But the house is so quiet.
Jack: Hey, it’s you and me, harrison, his nanny, and mrs. Martinez.
Diane: Oh, well, what — what time does she leave? Do you think if I text her that she’d stay —
Jack: Listen to me. Listen to me. If jeremy is foolish enough to show up at this door, we have a very sophisticated security system. It is on. I know this is a big request, but try to calm down. Try to make yourself at home. Everything you need will be up in the room.
Diane: Alright. Thanks.
Jack: Hope you can get some rest. Good night’s sleep, maybe.
Diane: So do I. I just — I just can’t believe what phyllis, nikki, and ashley have done.
Jack: Don’t worry about them. We will deal with them later. Good night.
Diane: Good night.
[ Sighs ]
Tucker: I’ve never even spoken to jeremy stark, so why would I fear him? Salud.
Audra: Salud. Well, I assumed you and he had crossed paths at some point.
Tucker: We did, in a way. We had some mutual connections, dealt with some of the same people, which came in handy when I needed information.
Audra: I’m sure.
Tucker: Uh-huh. That’s how I found out what he had done to diane, how he kept her under his thumb.
Audra: What did you have to do to this mutual friend to get him to talk?
Tucker: Everyone has their price.
Audra: So, you used that information as leverage over diane so she’d help you with your triumphant return to genoa city.
Tucker: Precisely. So now jeremy stark has no reason to come after me, so i have no reason to fear him. In fact, what I’d like to do is use him to my advantage, which is why I gave the information about him to ashley. I was hoping maybe she or nikki or phyllis would reach out to him and lure him to town.
Audra: Why? What are you up to?
[Oven ding]
Lily: I handled things with chelsea very carefully.
Billy: Okay, well, however you thought you handled them, her interpretation is that she’s become a burden.
Lily: Well, I am sorry she took it that way, but that was not my intention.
Billy: Okay. Can we talk about this when we get home?
Lily: I don’t know how late I’m gonna be, so don’t wait up.
Billy: Lily? Uh, good night, you two.
Sharon: Hey. Good night.
Daniel: Take care.
Sharon: Well, I should probably go and get your food ready instead of talking your ear off.
Daniel: No, no, no, it’s been great catching up. Um…I have missed a lot.
Sharon: Well, why don’t you go grab a seat and relax? I’ll bring your order out to your table.
Daniel: The royal treatment. Love it. [ Chuckles ] Hey.
Lily: Hey.
Daniel: Truth or dare?
Lily: Ugh. Obviously, truth.
Daniel: [ Groans ] Us hanging out tonight.
Lily: It was very fun.
Daniel: Well, I — I agree. That’s not the question, though. Um…did our little impromptu dinner — is that causing problems with billy?
Lily: No. [ Laughs ] No. Everything is fine.
[ Chuckles ]
Noah: Alright, well, can you just take care of it for me? Thank you.
Audra: Noah?
Noah: Hey. How are you?
Audra: Uh…
Noah: That’s alright. I was wondering when I’d see you again after the whole, uh…
Audra: You mean after i walked in here the other day and overheard you telling allie how I lost our baby?
Noah: Yeah.
Audra: I’m sorry for my terrible timing, okay? I thought I’d stay away for a while, give you some time and space to process everything i told you about the miscarriage.
Noah: I just… I can’t stop kicking myself. You know, if I had just handled the end of our relationship better, instead of — instead of leaving, you know, instead of just walking out without telling you, you wouldn’t have been so reluctant to share such monumental news. But I’m glad I know now.
Audra: Good.
Noah: I’m not really sure what’s supposed to happen next. I mean, is there anything I can do to help you heal, help you move on? If it’s an apology you want, it’s yours wholeheartedly. It’s what you deserve.
Audra: You, noah. I want you.
Jack: Yeah, I sent the paperwork through to london. No problem at all. Happy to help. Good talking to you. Bye. Oh, you’re here late.
Phyllis: I could say the same about you.
Jack: Running behind on work now that you’re spending so much time stirring up trouble?
Phyllis: Oh, there it is. There it is. Silly of me to think that we could have a civilized conversation. Unlike diane earlier in society, getting in my face, hurling accusations at me, screaming at the top of her lungs. Seriously? She was just the picture of restraint and elegance, wasn’t she?
Jack: I think diane was well within her rights to respond the way she did.
Phyllis: Oh, okay. Of course you do. She was insane! And look at you, backing her again.
Jack: Her life is in danger. How is she supposed to react?
Phyllis: Please, please.
Jack: And who the hell is the victim here? It’s certainly not you.
Phyllis: You’re just saying what she wants you to say.
Jack: Did you reach out to jeremy stark? Yes or no?
Phyllis: My phone. Look. Is there a phone number you don’t recognize? Check it out. You have my blessing. A text that’s not familiar to you? You want to scan my e-mail, jack?
Jack: I don’t need to look at your phone. I know how well you cover your tracks. I need you to look me in the eye and answer my question. Did you tell jeremy stark where he could find diane? Yes or no? Want your clothes to smell freshly
Noah: Look, I can appreciate that some buried feelings came to the surface, and I’m sure whatever you went through had to have been traumatic. And I’m very, very sorry things ended the way they did. But this conversation cannot happen.
Audra: It’s happening.
Noah: No, it can’T. I have a girlfriend.
Audra: Weren’t you just saying that we should have been more open with each other?
[ Sighs ] I never got over you, okay? I’m — I can’t and I won’t lie about it anymore. I can still close my eyes and see it all. How happy we were before things went wrong. We can have that again.
Noah: Audra…
Audra: We were fire.
Noah: And we got burned.
Audra: This is our chance to try again. But better, stronger, brighter, deeper. The kind of love that lasts forever.
Noah: Why? Our relationship was chaos, audra. Why would you want to go back to that?
Audra: Love is chaos. Okay? It doesn’t make any sense. Someone walks into your life and turns everything upside down, and before you know it, you — you need them like air. No, we’re not finished with each other, not by a long shot. I can see it every time I look into your eyes, every time we’re in the same room together. And I know you feel it, too.
Noah: No. No, no, this isn’t gonna happen.
Billy: This really isn’t my day.
Adam: [ Sighs ] Well, look who it is. Look who’s out and about — and on their own.
Billy: Says the guy sitting in the corner of the club by himself.
Adam: Well, that’s who I am, billy. I’m a lone wolf. At least you have a girlfriend. Unless she’s wised up and dumped you. Why is that? Because it’s the billy and chelsea show all the time now?
[ Scraping ]
Diane: [ Exhales sharply ]
Phyllis: Well, my goodness. Let’s turn your office into an interrogation room.
Jack: Oh, this is not an interrogation. I’m simply asking you to be truthful. Is that too much to ask for anymore?
Phyllis: Oh, my goodness, i love diane. I love her. She’s gotten you and kyle and summer all in a lather. So suspicious of me. This is amazing, you know? But I’ll be the bad guy. I’ll be the evil one because i know I am 100% correct about diane.
Jack: I don’t know what summer or kyle did or said after diane and I left the restaurant. Here’s what I do know. Jeremy stark is in genoa city. He came to my home, to my front door! But you know that.
Phyllis: How would I know that? Stop accusing me, please.
Jack: Did you tell him that diane was there? It’s very easy for you to give him my address.
Phyllis: He’s a criminal. Like he can’t find out where diane is? He has a score to settle with her. What did he want?
Jack: Well, he didn’t want to have a friendly conversation with her about all those years behind bars. He wanted to talk to her about being a grandmother. He brought harrison into this.
Phyllis: He brought harrison into it?
Jack: Yes, he did.
Phyllis: Did — did he threaten harrison?
Jack: No, not overtly. No. He’s smoother than that. But if someone helped him find his way here, that person ought to take responsibility for the hell they have unleashed.
Phyllis: Yeah, and that person is diane jenkins. It’s diane jenkins! That’s why he’s here. I-I — I can’t believe this. I’m still the villain. I’m the bad one again. And diane gets away scot-free, scot-free! I mean, jack, I am so tired of having this conversation with you. Do the math! If diane hadn’t ruined our lives all those years ago, she wouldn’t have gone to los angeles and met jeremy stark. And then, if she would have left when I told her to leave, then this guy wouldn’t be back in town.
Jack: You know what? Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop!
Phyllis: No, I’m not stopping!
Jack: I’m done with this! I am done! Hi, I’m angela.
“The young and the restless”
will continue. There’s something new from better than bouillon
Daniel: Oh, my god. These look absolutely phenomenal.
Sharon: Even better — they’re on the house. Welcome home, daniel.
Lily: Thank you.
Daniel: Thank you.
Lily: [ Laughs ] Yay.
Daniel: So, um, these late-night coffee and cupcake runs — is this normal for chancellor-winters, or is this just, like, a one-time thing? Because I’m trying to manage my expectations.
Lily: [ Chuckles ] Uh, no, it’s not normal. Although I wouldn’t mind. We do have a lot of late nights. But, um, I actually like the late nights. I don’t know. I find that I’m more productive ’cause it’s quiet, I feel more focused, you know? What about you?
Daniel: Oh, night owl all the way.
Lily: Yeah?
Daniel: Mm-hmm.
Lily: [ Laughs ]
Daniel: But let’s just say that’s when things can get dicey.
Lily: What does that mean?
Daniel: Well, there’s a fine line between night owl and early bird.
Lily: Okay, this sounds interesting.
[ Laughs ]
Daniel: It can be exhausting, right? You know, can lead to poor decision making. Let’s, uh — let’s call them unique projects and outcomes. I mean, you know, like taking suggestions from an audience at an improv show. What five things does every human being need to survive? And how can I manufacture these things on a moving train that will not stop?
Lily: Oh, my god, you’ve got to be kidding.
Daniel: I don’t know. 4:00 A.M., My thoughts — they should all be thrown into the fire.
Lily: [ Laughs ]
Daniel: And I’ve got these grand visions for my future, you know? Big, huge, huge dreams. Sometimes I just can’t stop working on them, even if I’m running on fumes.
Lily: Okay. Tell me your craziest 4:00 A.M. Idea. Let me hear it.
Daniel: No.
Lily: Come on. Give it to me.
Daniel: Come on.
Lily: Come on.
Daniel: Okay. Hmm. Okay.
[ Clears throat ]
[ Fork clatters ]
[ Plate slides ] You know when you’re gonna have a tough day and you could use a little extra motivation? You know, a pep talk. A shot in the arm.
[ Chuckles ]
Lily: Okay.
Daniel: A little excitement, some witnesses.
Lily: Yeah. Yeah. Go on.
Daniel: Mm-hmm. What if there were a service where you could hire your own entourage? I’m talking, like, bollywood dancers cheering you on as you’re running through the street on your way to your wedding proposal or, um, a new orleans second line announcing the birth of your baby. Celebrations and memory makers.
Lily: Right. So, you’re a character in your own musical?
Daniel: Not even remotely cost-effective or practical.
Lily: No, it’s definitely not. But it is very creative and fun.
Daniel: Mm. That was a very diplomatic way of saying totally weird.
Lily: Yeah, it’s weird. But… [ Laughs ]
Billy: You know, it’s typical of you to bring lily into this conversation, but I shouldn’t be surprised. But, yes, now that you mention chelsea, I am spending more time with her because I am her friend and I am concerned. I’m also concerned about connor. Chelsea mentioned that he’s being bullied at school.
Adam: Well, then I hope she also mentioned that we discussed it as a family and we handled it.
Billy: She did, yeah.
Adam: Yeah. Well, then you should know that we do appreciate your help, but moving forward, chelsea has plenty of people in her network that she can rely on.
Billy: Right. So, what are you saying? I, uh — I abandon her just out of the blue, adam?
Adam: No, billy, that’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying that I know what she needs. She’s my ex-wife, and she’s the mother of my son.
Billy: Well, she’s also the biological mother of my son.
Adam: What’s your point?
Billy: My point is, unfortunately, we’re connected. And trust me, I really wish that chelsea could trust you, but, you know, there’s boundaries and limitations when it comes to you.
Adam: Yeah, I’m painfully aware of the mistakes that I’ve made with chelsea. And months ago, when she told me she was struggling, I should have done more, but the point is, I’m here now for whatever she needs. So, as much as I really appreciate your help when she was in the throes of this crisis — and I’ll be eternally grateful for that, billy — i think it’s time for you to take a big step back.
Billy: Well, I’m not gonna do that. I can’t do that.
Audra: I realize you’re with allie. I get it. I do. But can you honestly say that what we had is over? Because when kissed just now, you felt it. I know you did. It’s like no time had passed, and you wanted it as much as i did.
Noah: No, no, that was a mistake.
Audra: It didn’t feel like one.
Noah: I got caught up in the moment. It happened. That’s all it was, okay?
Audra: It was electric.
Noah: Yeah, well, audra, a lack of chemistry was never really our issue, but we had plenty of other problems.
Audra: I mean, things could be different now. The time apart has given us a new perspective.
Noah: No, nothing is gonna change what happened or the reason we broke up. Our relationship was damaging for both of us. Why don’t you get that?
Audra: Can you honestly say that the life you have now is —
Noah: It’s good, okay? I’m happy. I am finally in a good place. And it seems like you’re doing well, too. Audra… there is no future for us. And I need you to accept that.
Audra: Message received.
Noah: [ Sighs ] How white do you think your teeth really are? Hi, my name is tony cooper. A more human way to healthcare. Why give your family just any eggs
Billy: I will be around for chelsea for as long as she needs, and I think she would resent the hell out of you for trying to dictate who gets to be a part of her support system.
Adam: What is this? You speak for chelsea now, billy?
Billy: No. This is chelsea’s choice. It’s her recovery. And if she chooses to confide in me over you, adam, you are going to have to deal with that.
Adam: I’m not gonna be shut out, okay? As much as I know you’d enjoy that.
Billy: So, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna break into her doctor’s office and steal her files? You gonna bug her apartment again like you did when you returned from the dead to spy on her?
Adam: I mean, that’s fascinating, considering that you and chelsea were together around that time.
Billy: Right, well, i wouldn’t look too far into that. What I would do is look inside yourself and understand what you are capable of. I mean, if we took a poll, no one would really expect any better from you. I mean, your lack of ability to actually connect to anyone on a human level just forces you to resort to fraud and deception. Who in their right mind is really going to trust you?
[ Glass thuds ]
Adam: And you’re the rational human that’s gonna bestow advice to who, billy? To me? Why don’t you call me when you get your degree or when somebody clears you of your delusions of grandeur, okay? So, if you’re looking for someone to insult or judge, why don’t you grab a mirror? ‘Cause I’m not gonna sit here and let myself be insulted by you or anyone else.
Jack: I am done listening to you, phyllis. Now you’re going to listen to me. The only reason you have found employ under the jabot umbrella is because I allowed it. And, boy, have I come to regret giving summer and kyle my okay because you have proven very clearly your only motive for being in this building is to undermine diane.
Phyllis: No, it’s not. No, it’s not, and you know it. I want to work with my daughter. I missed her in milan. You know that.
Jack: Not enough, or you would have backed off from diane when summer asked you to. Let’s face it, you are incapable of giving diane even a moment of kindness or thoughtfulness or understanding or, god forbid, forgiveness.
Phyllis: Oh, my god, you’re kidding me. This is not my fault.
Jack: Yeah, and it wasn’t your fault when you tortured christine all those years ago. It wasn’t your fault when you did everything you could…
Phyllis: You’re bringing back my past?
Jack: …To make sharon’s life a living hell.
Phyllis: You’re bringing back my past?
Jack: And now you are focusing your special brand of vengeance and hatred on diane.
Phyllis: Vengeance and hatred on diane? Are you serious right now?
Jack: I am deadly serious. I have stood by for months now and watched you abuse your position at marchetti for your own twisted purposes. I have stayed silent out of respect for summer and kyle. No more! We’re done with that. You’ve gone too far. A word of warning — marchetti is a subsidiary of jabot. I am jabot! And if I find out you did reach out to stark, if our children or our grandchild or diane are harmed in any way, I will throw you and that stupid smirk out of this building so fast, your head will spin. Hey! It’s me! Your dry skin!
Lily: Thank you.
Daniel: Whew.
Lily: [ Sighs ]
Adam: Daniel romalotti. Wow. It’s been a while. I didn’t know you were back in town.
Daniel: Just got back.
Adam: Interesting, seeing the two of you together.
Lily: Sorry. What’s so interesting about seeing two friends catching up?
Adam: Well, the fact that you’re here and billy is all by his lonesome at the glam club. I mean, I don’t blame you that you need a breather. You know, it’s amazing that a guy can be such a train wreck, yet so self-righteous.
Lily: Do you have anything better to do than to annoy us?
Adam: Lily, it must make you crazy seeing how he and chelsea are so joined at the hip.
Lily: You know what? I think that you’re the one with the problem.
Adam: Oh, or maybe you are relieved you don’t have to put up with his antics and addictions now.
Lily: [ Scoffs ] Okay, you know what? Whatever this game is, I don’t want to play, so good night.
Noah: Hey, billy. How’s it going, man?
Billy: Let’s just say I’ve had better nights.
Noah: I’m sorry to hear that.
Billy: [ Sighs ] It’s alright. You know, I came to your lovely club to unwind a little bit. Instead, I got an overabundance of adam.
Noah: Yeah. Yeah, I caught the tail end of that conversation.
Billy: Well, let me just say that I think your uncle is slipping back into his dark prince ways. And I think it’s best we all keep an eye on him.
Tucker: Come in. Things not working out with noah?
Audra: Doesn’t matter at the moment, does it?
Tucker: No. I wasn’t expecting you. And here I thought my evening was drawing to an end.
Audra: Is that a complaint?
Tucker: Far from it.
Audra: [ Moaning ]
Jack: [ Groans ]
[ Keys clatter ]
Diane: [ Gasps ]
Jack: Hey. It’s just me. It’s just me. I’m sorry.
Diane: It’s okay.
Jack: I didn’t mean to scare you.
Diane: [ Sighs ] It’s alright. The slightest noise has me on edge tonight.
Jack: What are you still doing down here?
Diane: I didn’t think I’d be able to sleep, so I thought I’d wait up for you. So, how did everything go at jabot?
Jack: Everything was fine. You have to know you are safe here. We are going to do everything we can to protect you. You have my word.
Diane: [ Sighs ] You don’t know what it means to me to hear that. Thank you.
