Marlena let John know that she was afraid that she wouldn’t see him again when she was kidnapped. He didn’t know what would come next, but he promised to protect her. Marlena knew they would win against Orpheus again. She said that he would have to deal with her if he hurt John. Kayla and Steve took Jada to the warehouse that Orpheus had kidnapped her. Steve showed her the bomb he dismantled. Jada wanted to know what was wrong with him. Kayla defended him and called him a hero. Jada said they had a bomb squad and he wasn’t part of the ISA anymore. She called him out for always being the one to save people. He told her that Orpheus didn’t want them to go to the police. She said if they did go to the police, Orpheus would be in custody. She wasn’t sure what he would do next.
Later, Kate introduced herself to Jada. She let her know she was one of Orpheus’ victims. She wanted to Kate to go to the station to make a statement. She called Roman out the same way she called out Steve for going rogue. Roman let her know that Salem is a different place from what she was used to. Jada gave up and stepped back. Steve and Kayla kissed when Stephanie barged in the room. She demanded to know why she didn’t know what happened to Kayla. She saw the alert on her news app. They defended themselves and assured her that they were safe. Orpheus went to see Rolf. He knew about Stefan’s resurrection. He didn’t care about it. He wanted to make Steve, Roman and John suffer. He knew what Rolf was doing. Rolf refused to let Orpheus take his work, but he said he already did. Rolf was worried that Orpheus had the vial. He warned Orpheus to be careful. He said he already used the contents. He told Rolf that John, Steve and Roman delayed the deaths of their ladies. He was going to make them wish the blew up in the warehouse.
