Eric: Quinn, listen.
Quinn: Is this what you meant when you said you were going to the club? You just… you were in bed with her?
Eric: I’m sorry. I’m sorry you had to find out this way.
Quinn: Sorry? No, no, no, no, no. No, I was worried about you. I was worried about your health. Your–your heart rate kept spiking higher and higher every week, and I– now I know why. You’re not playing pickleball. You’re… you’re having an affair with donna.
Paul: Well, what do you think? You wanted paris. You got paris.
Carter: Yeah, it’s, uh, elegant, refined, just like we discussed. Thanks for putting it together so quickly.
Paul: I aim to please.
[Cellphone rings]
[Cellphone chimes]
Carter: Hey.
Paris: Is that

Paul: Ridge. I got your email. We’re all set.
Ridge: Okay. Security’s crucial with sheila running around.
Paul: Well, we’ve got a number of officers outside and in the surrounding area. There should be no issues.

Charlie: Well, we’re closed for a private event. What are you doing here?
Hope: You invited who?
Paris: Bill spencer. He is a big supporter of the foundation, so why not? Well, I do know underneath that hard exterior, there lies a philanthropic side.
Zende: Hey, I know I’m a little bit early, but I was hoping that you and I could get a minute alone?
Hope: I am, uh, gonna go see if they’re ready out front. Okay?

Paris: Mom, you came!
Carter: I know you think this is moving fast.
Ridge: It is moving fast. You…you’re my best friend. I wanna make sure you’ve thought this through.
Carter: I’m ready. I want a family, I want a partner, and I’m not getting any younger, right?
Ridge: Oh, come on.
Carter: I want this, ridge. I need it.
Ridge: You need it because you’re still hung up on quinn!
Quinn: I don’t understand what’s going on. I-I know I-I betrayed you, but… how is this okay when I… when I’ve been working so hard to fix what happened between us?

Bill: Did I hear my name mentioned? Oh, well, head of security and a member of the wedding police. Paris invited me. I’m the biggest contributor to the forrester foundation.
Charlie: Oh, I-I hope this won’t be too awkward for you, zende.
Zende: I told paris I wanted to be here to support her.
Hope: That’s big of you. I’m sure she appreciates it.
Zende: She’s special to me. Even though we’re not still together, I’ll always care about paris.
Paris: Having you here means the world to me.
Grace: I almost didn’t come.
Paris: But you did.
Grace: I’m not mad or upset with you. I’m just–I’m heartbroken for my baby girl.
Paris: Don’t be. This is the first time I’m fulfilled. You have to trust me that I know what’s best for me.
Grace: And that’s carter?
Paris: [Scoffs]
Grace: A man who was with your sister. He dumped her and had an affair with his boss’s wife? I’m just so worried about you, sweetheart. I don’t wanna see you getting hurt by carter.
[Knock on door]
Ridge: All right. If you’re really gonna do this, I’m afraid it’s time.
Carter: Okay. Uh… I just need another minute.
[Door closes]
Quinn: I thought we would be together forever.
Eric: I thought we would, too.
Quinn: How is this fair?! I have been begging you! I have been working so hard! I’ve been doing everything possible, and here you are doing the exact same thing to me that broke us apart in the first place.
Eric: I’m sorry, quinn. I’m sorry. I hate–I hate hurting you like this. I hate–I hate being this man who cheats on his wife. I hate that. I was gonna tell you tonight. I swear I was.
Quinn: Why didn’t you open up to me sooner? I gave you everything I have. I feel completely… and utterly just shattered.
[Cries] I don’t even know how I’m supposed to feel. I don’t know why. I mean, the old quinn in me wants to scream. I wanna scream at you! I wanna be so mad for how wrong this is. I thought you were the most loyal man in the world. I told everybody that!
Eric: I thought I was, too. I didn’t realize what was really happening until we had that conversation in the living room the other day.
Quinn: What?!
Eric: About carter. About carter getting married.
Quinn: [Scoffs]
Eric: That’s when I realized that…that’s where the confusion was. The more–the more you tried to keep our marriage together, the more I was drawn, drawn away from you…
Quinn: [Scoffs]
Eric: …To donna. You fell for carter during that affair, and not only did you fall for him, you fell in love with him. And you still are. I’m realizing that I have to– I have to let go of my love story with you. Quinn, you have to let go of your love story with me, too. Two wrongs don’t make a right. I know that. I know that me sneaking off to be with donna was wrong. It was. But what we share together, the feelings that we have for each other, that’s not wrong. And what you feel for carter is not wrong either. Quinn, look at me. Look at me.
Quinn: [Sniffles]

Grace: Paris, baby, please don’t do this.
Paris: Mom, I need you to understand this. Accept that it’s happening. Look, carter is becoming, about to become my–my husband, the father to my kids, your grandchildren. Why can’t you be excited for me?
Grace: Honey, I am not saying any of this to hurt you. I am trying to protect you. I’m your mother. Carter is not the man for you.
Paris: How do you know? You won’t even give him a chance. You’re so mean.
Grace: Because that man is running from something. I’m telling you. He jumped in all of this way too quickly.
Paris: Mom, stop.
[Scoffs] I don’t wanna hear it anymore.
[Knock on door]
Hope: Paris, hi. Uh, it’s time.
Paris: Uh, look, mom, I know you’re only looking out for me, but I’m marrying the man I love.
Quinn: This is really… over, isn’t it? You and me… I’ve been fighting so hard for us, I don’T… I don’t think I know how to let you go.
Eric: But you can. You can, and you will. Because, quinn, I know how– how you feel about carter, that this–this affair you had with him a long time ago was– was just the beginning. You’re in love with him. You love him.
Quinn: [Voice breaking] I do.
[Crying] I do. I love him.
[Crying] I’ve been fighting it just so hard because I’ve been fighting for us, because I’ve been fighting for us to get back to the way we were, but…
[Laughs] I don’t have to fight it. I-I don’t have to worry about hurting you or what your family is gonna say about me.

Eric: I want you to know how, uh… I want you to know how I’ve cherished all our time together.
Quinn: So have I.
Eric: You charmed me with your wit and your beauty and your talent. Your intellect. I’m proud I was your husband.
Quinn: [Exhales deeply] Thank you.
Eric: Well, um… you see how beautiful this is? Do you see the beauty of this?
Quinn: No. Um…
Eric: No? You don’t? Right down the beach, this man that you love– this man’s gonna make– he’s about to make the biggest mistake of his life.
Quinn: I think I’m gonna keep the big diamond, okay?
Eric: And so you should.
Quinn: [Sniffles]
Eric: Go. You’re meant to be with carter. If you hurry, you won’t be too late. The wedding’s about to start.
Charlie: Sure you wanna do this, old buddy? Forever is a very long time.
