He has no idea what to make of his daughter’s story about a magic well that gives her wishes to grant. While Daniel goes off to process this news, Ruby receives a wish about credit. The clues eventually lead the kids to a local bee farmer and science camp teacher, Brea. Sadly for Sam, who has a mortal fear of bees, they must embed in Brea’s “beecological” camp to sleuth out what she wants the credit for. They soon discover that Brea wrote a huge book about photovoltaics – for which she received zero credit! Lucky for them the professor who stole the credit is in Emerald doing research – or is that just a lucky coincidence? Perhaps not. They track him down at a motel and approach his associate, Villette, and tell him their theory about his stealing-stealer boss. After hearing their story, Villette clears things up, explaining how their credit stealing theory is just all wrong. But now that he knows Brea is in Emerald, he’d love to reconnect and work on another project with his old friend. The kids relay the message to Brea, who, having no beef with her old colleague, would love to work with him again. Soon Brea’s working on his new project, poised to get proper credit this time. But Ruby smells a rat. The question is – will she find it in time? Meanwhile, Daniel seeks advice anywhere he can get it about Ruby’s sudden interest in magic. But as he asks about her in town, he learns that she has been busy doing good works – helping all manner of people, changing lives, making the town a better place. And when the fountain, dry for decades, bursts forth with water again making everyone feel hopeful, Daniel can’t help but feel hopeful, too. About his daughter and about Emerald. It all makes him wonder – could what she told him somehow be true? Or does it even matter if it’s true, as long as Ruby is helping others?

LONDONGRAD – One of the ways the West is hoping to derail Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is by waging a war on his inner circle: the hundreds of mega-rich oligarchs who hide Putin’s money abroad and prop up his regime. Today, there’s so much Russian cash in London, the capital is nicknamed “Londongrad.” Now, with Russia laying waste to Ukraine, Britain is under pressure to show it can stop the flood of corrupt money. Bill Whitaker goes to the heart of Russia’s capital abroad – London – to find out. Heather Abbott is the producer.

She has won a GRAMMY for an album about Hurricane Sandy, served as the first official artist in residence for NASA, and still today at 74 remains uncategorizable and busy as ever. 60 MINUTES catches up with Anderson as her largest-ever U.S. exhibition is on display at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, D.C. - 4/9/22 (Saturday) (10:00 PM) on CBS – WHEN A TEXAS WOMAN’S HUSBAND WAS SHOT DEAD OUTSIDE THEIR HOME, NEIGHBORS RAISED MONEY TO HELP – BUT THEN THE VICTIM’S WIFE USED SOME OF THAT MONEY AS A PERSONAL PIGGY BANK TO SHOWER HER HUSBAND’S ALLEGED KILLER WITH CASH AND GIFTS
Was a mild-mannered airline employee the target of a murder plot, or was he the victim of a robbery gone bad? Correspondent Peter Van Sant and 48 HOURS investigate the death of a Texas man and the twisted tale behind his murder in “The Plot to Kill Jamie Faith,” to be broadcast Saturday, April 9 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streamed on Paramount+. Preview
Jamie Faith and his wife, Jennifer, set out from their Dallas home on an early morning dog walk on Oct. 9, 2020. It would be the last walk Jamie Faith ever took. Moments after they left home, Jamie was shot dead. Jennifer Faith was unharmed. It was a murder that stunned their friends and neighbors.
“To say it was a shocking murder would be an understatement … Broad daylight, seven shots, one person killed,” says Steve Pickett, who covered the case for CBS’ KTVT-TV in Dallas/Fort Worth. “We see murders all day. This one looked different.”
“Three times to the head, three times to the chest and once to the groin. … And then [someone] turns to the wife, takes the time to pull out duct tape and wrap her wrists,” says Christy Jack, a prominent defense attorney who reviewed the case for 48 HOURS, adding, “As soon as I saw it, I thought, ‘That’s a hit.’”
The community rallied around Jennifer, raising more than $60,000 in a GoFundMe account to help her and her daughter make up for Jamie’s lost income. They also provided meals for the grieving family. Investigators, however, learned that Jennifer had been in constant contact with a man she dated in high school, Darrin Lopez. Investigators found a gun with Jamie’s blood on it inside Lopez’s home and soon learned that Jennifer was using some of the money from the GoFundMe account as a personal piggy bank to shower Lopez with cash, airline tickets and even a large screen TV.
The question became: how much did Jennifer Faith know about her husband’s murder, and was Lopez operating on his own or under Jennifer’s direction?
48 HOURS: “The Plot to Kill Jamie Faith” is produced by Paul La Rosa, Dena Goldstein and Josh Yager. Claire St. Amant and David Dow are the development producers. Jordan Kinsey is the field producer. Atticus Brady, Marcus Balsam, Gary Winter and George Baluzy are the editors. Peter Schweitzer is the senior producer. Nancy Kramer is the executive story editor. - USA Network WWE RAW – Monday, April 4, 8:00PM Show More
- From wrestlinginc.com: WWE RAW Preview For Tonight: The Biggest RAW Of The Year, Veer Mahaan
The biggest WWE RAW of the year will take place tonight from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas with fallout from WrestleMania 38.
No WrestleMania-related matches or segments have been announced for the RAW After WrestleMania as of this writing, but it’s expected that new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be appearing. It’s interesting to note that Reigns is not being advertised by the WWE website or the arena, and Brock Lesnar is also not advertised.
WWE has confirmed that Veer Mahaan will finally make his red brand re-debut tonight after months of vignettes and squashes on WWE Main Event. There is no word on who he will face tonight.
Cody Rhodes is expected to make his RAW return on tonight’s show for a follow-up to his WrestleMania win over Seth Rollins. Rhodes will reportedly be a regular member of the RAW roster moving forward, and noted on Instagram that he can’t wait to have a live mic on tonight’s show.
RAW will also likely feature more on the new alliance between WWE Hall of Famer Edge and Damian Priest. Edge was reported to be leading a new heel stable on RAW, and then Priest provided a distraction that helped Edge defeat AJ Styles at WrestleMania.
The WWE Events website has the following Superstars advertised for tonight – Priest, Styles, Rollins, new RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, and Kevin Owens.
There’s no word yet on potential surprises for tonight’s RAW, but we will keep you updated.
