    ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022′ Airs Live Friday, Dec. 31, Beginning at 8/7c on ABC
    ABC and MRC Live & Alternative today announced that “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022” has added more talent to its co-host roster for this year’s 50th-anniversary celebration headlined by 17-time host and executive producer of the show Ryan Seacrest in Times Square. Actress, producer and entertainer Liza Koshy, who previously served as a correspondent on the show in 2019, will return as co-host to head up festivities in Times Square alongside Ryan. Returning for his third year, Emmy(R), GRAMMY(R) and Tony(R) Award winner Billy Porter, who co-hosted last year from Times Square, will return to New Orleans as co-host to shepherd the Central Time Zone countdown. Billy co-hosted from New Orleans in 2019.
    New Year’s veteran hostess and award-winning multiplatinum-selling artist Ciara will return to the show for her fifth year, overseeing the LA party with history-making “Club Quarantine” DJ D-Nice spinning the turntables to round out the bash. Country artist Jessie James Decker will return as the Powerball correspondent for a third consecutive year. The most-watched annual celebration, “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest,” will air FRIDAY, DEC. 31, live on ABC at 8:00 p.m.- 1:09 a.m. EST.

    DRAWING TRUTH TO POWER – Badiucao, China’s foremost political cartoonist and street artist, uses his pointed drawings to poke at Chinese President Xi Jinping and his authoritarian regime in public ways. He is best known for plastering large posters of his cartoons on walls all over Australia and Europe and online, such as a depiction of President Xi hunting for Winnie the Pooh after China censored images of the Disney character when an internet meme compared Xi’s appearance to Pooh. His drawings go viral worldwide after he posts them on social media, and he has predictably drawn the ire of the Chinese government. Now exiled in Australia, Badiucao, which is not his real name, was forced to use colorful ski masks to disguise his identity for years. The celebration to ring in the New Year will air LIVE from Music City, Friday, Dec. 31 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT, 11:30 PM-1:30 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*.
    Additional performers who will ring in the New Year include Lady A, Ingrid Andress, BRELAND, King Calaway, Riley Green, Sam Hunt, Chris Janson, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce and Lainey Wilson.
