  • CBS LOVE ISLAND – Sunday, July 18 Show More
Episode 309 – Airing 7/18/21 (9:01PM) – From screenrant.com: Love Island USA season 3 episode 9 will be a two-hour event featuring the aftermath of the latest re-coupling and the introduction of Slade and Wes.
After a dramatic re-coupling where Cashay Proudfoot coupled up with Isaiah Harmison (hesitantly), Cinco re-coupled with Trina Njoroge (finally), and Aimee Flores stayed with Jeremy Hershberg (angrily), Love Island USA season 3 episode 9 will feature new boys Slade Parker and Wes Ogsbury shaking things up even more. With the elimination of Lei-Yen Rapp, things should be smooth sailing for Trina and Cinco now. In turn, Cash is starting a new relationship with Isaiah while still having lots of questions about him. And after a week-loung honeymoon between Aimee and Jeremy, he has officially messed things up with her.
With all the Love Island drama aside, Korey Gandy has finally found a partner for him in the villa, Florita Diaz. Speaking of finally, it seems like Olivia Kaiser is finally opening up to Javonny Vega. Kyra Lizama and Will Moncada are still two adorable lovebirds, and Shannon St Claire appears to have forgiven Josh Goldstein after making him sweat for a bit. But with the introduction of Slade and Wes on the Sunday night episode, one should wonder: is Cashay that certain about Isaiah to ignore the new boys, and would Olivia or Florita have their heads turned so quickly?

  • CBS BIG BROTHER – Wednesday, July 21 Show More
Episode 6 (Season 23) – Airing 7/21/21 (8:00 PM) – Big Brother 23 is back tonight at 8/7c for the latest Power of Veto episode of the season with Kyland as the Head of Household and his noms, Britini and Frenchie, preparing for their shot at safety. Time to see how it all plays out and the final noms of the week.
No big surprise here that Frenchie is a top target and we’ll see the tears flow like wine from Britini if they include her extensive emotional reaction to her pawn status nomination. Houseguests were really surprised by how hard she took it, but Britini seems to be a 110% kinda person so guess that’s what we’re in for with her. But the main plan here is Frenchie and the House knows they need to shut down his Veto chances if they want to get him out the door this week.
After the Veto comp we’ll get some more campaigning from the Houseguests and then it’ll be time for the Veto holder’s decision and the HOH’s as well to leave us with the final noms of Week 2 on Big Brother 23.  More

Episode 7 (Season 23) – Airing 7/22/21 (8:00 PM) – Tonight on Big Brother 23 (8/7c) we’re back for the latest eviction of the season with the live vote, next Head of Household competition, and a new Head of Household for the season. Still hard to believe we’re just now wrapping up the second week as Frenchie has made this an action packed run so far, even if his time is coming to a close on the season.
Yes, Frenchie is the top target heading into tonight’s vote and as much as some HGs might be okay with Britini going I do not expect anyone to pass up the chance to send Mr Chaos out the door. He played too hard too fast and that made fun Feeds for us, but no way his game was going to survive that constant trouble he was creating then selling to other HGs.
So all that ends tonight when I expect maybe one sympathy vote for the farmer before he heads out and with what looks like no sequester for evictees (Travis was spotted flying back home) this should be the last of Frenchie until finale night. After that, it’s time for a new HOH! More

Episode 313 – Airing 7/23/21 (9:00PM) – From screenrant.com: The fans voted for their favorite couple to stay in the villa, and we’ll find out which couples were saved by the public on Love Island USA season 3 episode 12. There’s a portion of the fandom that is still holding onto feelings against Trina Njoroge & Cinco for what happened with Cashay Proudfoot. In turn, there are also viewers feeling annoyed by Florita Diaz & Jeremy Hershberg for blindsiding Korey Gandy and Aimee Flores. It’s possible that Trina & Cinco or Florita & Jeremy might get eliminated by the public tonight… but a surprise result could always happen, too.
Operation Heart Attack will be in full effect tonight on Love Island USA, so Olivia Kaiser is going all-in on Will Moncada. It’ll be tough for Javonny Vega to watch Olivia pursuing a new boy, as well as for Kyra Lizama to feel insecure about Will talking to another girl. Cash is ready to try again with Cinco, but it’s hard to predict how Trina will take it. Alas, no one said life would be easy in the villa! Last but not least, Wes Ogsbury is trying to find his place on Love Island, whereas Josh Goldstein & Shannon St Claire are moving on from their latest drama.

Airing 7/24/21 (Sa.) (9:00 PM) on the CBS Television Network: “48 HOURS” SATURDAY DOUBLE FEATURE – JULY 24
9:00 PM – 48 HOURS: “The Troubling Case Against Kevin Cooper” – San Quentin State Prison death row inmate Kevin Cooper has maintained for three decades he did not kill three members of a California family and a guest staying at their house in 1983. Now, with new witnesses, lost evidence that could have proven him right and a DNA test that doesn’t link him to the crime, the question remains: will Cooper ever walk free again? Erin Moriarty and 48 HOURS investigate the controversial murder case against Cooper and explore the two new witnesses who came forward after watching 48 HOURS, new DNA testing and the California governor who could spare his life in an encore of “The Troubling Case Against Kevin Cooper” to be broadcast Saturday, July 24 (9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. This is a case Moriarty has been reporting on for two decades. Cooper’s case has drawn international attention from the likes of Pope Francis and Kim Kardashian West. The heartbreaking story about the brutal assault that left Doug and Peggy Ryen; their daughter, Jessica, 10; and a family friend, Christopher Hughes, 11, dead in Chino Hills, Calif., also raises questions about the initial police investigation, the loss of key evidence and whether the real killer remains free. Watch a preview.
  • CBS 48 HOURS – Saturday, July 24 Show More
Airing 7/24/21 (Sa.) (10:00 PM) on the CBS Television Network: 10:00 PM – 48 HOURS: “The Case Against Mary Katherine Higdon” – Mary Katherine Higdon called 911 to report she had shot her boyfriend, Steven Freeman. It was all an accident, she told first responders. She said she was handing the gun to Freeman when it went off and that she didn’t know the weapon was chambered. When she talked with investigators at the police station, they say she confessed to murder. But there was a major problem – the audio on the tape where she allegedly confessed was impossible to hear due to a feedback hum. Correspondent David Begnaud and 48 HOURS report on what happened that night and the police investigation in an encore of “The Case Against Mary Katherine Higdon,” to be broadcast Saturday, July 24 (10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. It’s a case that rocked the small town of Griffin, Ga. Higdon and Freeman were high school sweethearts and were living together the night Freeman died. The investigation into what happened revealed a toxic relationship with allegations of abuse that left two families shattered. It’s also a case that raised many questions about what went wrong and who was at fault for the violence that erupted that summer night in 2018. Investigators believed it was no accident and that crime scene evidence and Higdon’s conflicting statements all led to a clear case of murder. At her trial, Higdon testified that although she didn’t know the gun was chambered, she held the gun up that night because she was scared of Steven. Higdon testified that she suffered abuse at the hands of Steven. But what would a jury think?
