Interview with Mark Evestaff, Executive Producer of the special “There’s No Place Like Home, Snoopy” on Apple TV+ by Suzanne 7/16/26
This is a superb animated special about Charlie Brown and Snoopy searching for Snoopy’s missing doghouse. Mark and the rest of them product really well-done children’s shows and videos that people of any age can enjoy. I hope you can check it out, along with the Snoopy Show series and the other specials (both classic and new). This one premiers July 31 on Apple TV+.

ABOUT MARK EVESTAFF:
Mark Evestaff is a multi-award-winning executive producer with over 20 years of industry experience, including as the showrunner of Emmy-nominated Snoopy in Space and The Snoopy Show. A graduate of the MFA program at Parsons School of Design, he started his career as an associate producer at Sesame Workshop in New York City. Mark returned to his hometown of Toronto to develop and produce Jimmy Two-Shoes for Disney XD, as well as Sony’s animated series Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs for Cartoon Network. He also developed and served as showrunner for Rocket Monkeys, which ran five seasons on Teletoon in Canada and Nickelodeon around the world. Currently, Mark is thrilled to be overseeing a new slate of Peanuts specials, including the upcoming There’s No Place Like Home, Snoopy, premiering soon on Apple TV.
ABOUT “SNOOPY PRESENTS: THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME, SNOOPY”:
In the new original special under the Snoopy Presents banner, Snoopy is devastated when his beloved doghouse is accidentally sold at a yard sale. In an effort to cheer up his pal, Charlie Brown leads Snoopy on an adventure to find his old doghouse, and along the way, they learn what makes a house truly a home.
The all-new special stars Riley Vargas, Terry McGurrin, Rob Tinkler, Kitai O’Garro, Josephine Nisbett, Grace Nicolaou-Wood, Jo-Hannah Atchison, Lexi Perri, Athan Giazitzidis and Diego Whalen, and is executive produced by Josh Scherba, Stephanie Betts, Logan McPherson, Paige Braddock, Chris Bracco and Mark Evestaff. The special features the original song, “Home, Where Your Heart Found Me” by acclaimed singer-songwriter Allen Stone.
