Billy: So, uh, how was chelsea?
Lily: Um, good. I mean, the conversation went well. She just wanted to thank me for being understanding while you were helping her through this difficult time.
Billy: Okay. That’s it? I mean, you were up there for a while. That’s all.
Lily: Yeah. She just said that, you know, you helped her, and she’s getting stronger every day. She just wanted to be transparent with me so that I wouldn’t misinterpret anything, which I told her I appreciate.
Billy: Yeah, I appreciate that, as well. Why don’t you grab a table? I’m just going to give her a quick call. Okay? I’ll be one minute.
Lily: What, you’re going to check on chelsea again?
Billy: Yeah. I just want to make sure she’s okay.
Lily: Maybe she wants some space.
Billy: Or maybe something’s wrong.
Chelsea: I worry that I’ve been too much of a burden on you and billy.
Lily: Like I said, billy and I, we care about you, and we really care about your recovery. And just so you know, I don’t think that you should give all the credit to billy for saving you. I mean, you worked really hard to be here, and you continue to work hard to get better. Billy told me that it’s important to have a network of people to lean on, which you have. You know, you have sharon and adam and chloe, your therapist. And that’s great, you know, because billy is wonderful. But I think it’s better to have a group of people to support you, you know? Because billy can’t really be there for you 24/7.
Sharon: I know that you’re genuinely concerned about chelsea’s well-being. And, of course, you want to be a part of the process of her recovery.
Adam: Is there anything wrong with that, sharon?
Sharon: No, not at all. But I can sense how your mind is working. And I’m afraid that you’re trying to turn this into a competition between you and billy. And trust me. That’s the last thing that chelsea needs right now.
Adam: What — what are you suggesting? That I just step back, and I stay out of it so billy can continue to play the hero?
Ashley: I was hoping for some good news. Are we any closer to getting diane out of town?
Nikki: I’m afraid I have some disappointing news about talia morgan.
Ashley: What happened?
Nikki: Phyllis and I wanted to bring her up-to-date about the connection between diane and jeremy stark. I mean, we thought she would want to know that diane had been laundering money for him. The guy went to prison for it, and for six years she was being chauffeured around los angeles in a bentley, living the high life.
Ashley: You’d think that she’d be excited to write such a juicy story, right?
Nikki: So did we. We thought that she could even lead her readers into thinking that diane may have turned stark in to the federal authorities. I mean, wouldn’t that just scare the life out of her? Hopefully enough to put her underground to hide out. But you know what? When talia heard that we didn’t have real proof…
Ashley: Oh, don’t tell me.
Nikki: Yeah. She doesn’t want to have anything more to do with what she now sees as a smear campaign.
Ashley: That’s very disappointing, especially since everything you told her about the connection between stark and diane is the truth.
Nikki: It’s just so frustrating. We finally have the information to take her down with, and we can’t get it publicized.
Ashley: I think I have worse news.
Nikki: [ Scoffs ] How could it be worse than losing our very own voice in the national media?
Ashley: How about losing who should be our biggest ally? Jack.
Diane: [ Sighs ]
Jack: Diane, you got a minute? There’s something you need to know.
Diane: I hope it’s not bad news.
Jack: Well, it depends on how you look at it. I laid down the law with ashley. I made it very clear to her she would be making an enemy of me if she continues her reckless attacks on you.
Diane: I can’t tell you how grateful I am for your support, but the last thing I want is to be a source of tension between the two of you.
Jack: I had to say something to get through to her.
Diane: I am… I am just so touched that you’d stand up for me that way. I hope you know it means everything to me.
Kyle: Am I interrupting something? I have moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.

Ashley: So, I walk in, and right here stands diane, all teary-eyed, embracing jack like he’s her knight in shining armor. I’m telling you right now, I wanted to throw up.
Nikki: How can he keep falling for that?
Ashley: I don’t know! I asked him why he’s so irrational where diane’s concerned. What he told me was shocking.
Nikki: What? What did he say?
Ashley: He said if I go to war with diane, I go to war with him.
Nikki: Really?
Ashley: Yes. And he meant it. Absolutely, 100% — he was vehement.
Nikki: Well… I can certainly understand if this changes things for you. Are you going to walk away on our plan now?
Ashley: Not a chance in hell.
Sharon: You see, this is exactly what I’m talking about. You’re turning this into something adversarial for no good reason. Billy is not playing the hero. He happened to be there when chelsea was at her lowest point. And you should be grateful that he was there and stepped up for her.
Adam: Sure. I am grateful. I told him that — more than once, actually.
Sharon: Okay, well, chelsea has come to rely on billy, and I’m glad that she has the extra support.
Adam: Chelsea and I, we share a child, okay? My focus isn’t just on chelsea’s well-being here. I’m trying to help connor navigate an incredibly difficult situation. And we should be working on this together, as parents.
Sharon: I couldn’t agree more. Listen to what I’m saying here, okay? I’m not taking sides between you and billy.
Adam: It sure feels that way.
Sharon: Under the circumstances, the only person’s side I’m on right now is chelsea’S. So, please don’t make this about you and your feelings and your history with billy, because that’ll just make things more complicated for chelsea at a fragile time. I know she’s gotten better, but she’s still trying to find her footing. She has a long way to go, and, honestly, you tend to blur the line sometimes.
Adam: And billy doesn’t?
Lily: Okay, well, I guess I’ll get us a table, then.
Billy: I’ll just be one minute.
Daniel: So, it’s looking more and more likely like I’ll be sticking around town.
Phyllis: Yes! Yes. That’s the greatest news I’ve heard all day.
Lily: Hello.
Daniel: Lily.
Phyllis: Hey, you want to join us?
Summer: It’s good to see you. Is billy with you?
Lily: Uh, yeah. He just — he’s — he’ll be right in. He had to take care of something.
Billy: Come on, chelsea. Pick up.
[ Door opens ]
Chelsea: Hey. What’s wrong?
Connor: Nothing. I’m fine.
Chelsea: Connor, stop, please. Come here. I can see something’s troubling you. I’d like you to tell me what it is.
Connor: It doesn’t matter.
Chelsea: Hey, we said no more secrets. You can tell me anything.
Connor: I got into a fight at school.
Chelsea: What? Why would you do that?
Connor: I had to, mom.
Chelsea: Connor, we have discussed this. Violence does not solve anything.
Connor: But I couldn’t let anyone get away with calling you crazy. Hi, I’m jason and I’ve lost 202 pounds on golo. Diane: Your father and i were discussing a disturbing situation.
Kyle: What happened now?
Diane: Phyllis, nikki, and ashley have upped their attacks against me.
Jack: The situation has become untenable.
Kyle: Up their attacks? How?
Diane: Kyle, there’s something you need to know because you don’t have the complete picture. Uh, jack, could we borrow your office for a few minutes?
Jack: Feel free. Go ahead.
Kyle: Okay, mom. What’s this about?
Diane: Tucker and me. There’s something you don’t know about the deal he offered me in exchange for information about allie.
Kyle: You said he wanted you to monitor ashley’s personal life, her comings and goings, and report back to him, right?
Diane: Yes, but that’s only part of it. It’s entirely possible that tucker is sincerely trying to rekindle his relationship with ashley, but I can’t say that for sure. What I do know for certain is that he has another goal, to take over jabot.
Kyle: Well, I can’t say I’m all that surprised, but what does that have to do with the other part of your deal?
Diane: Tucker wanted me to access jabot’s financial information and give it to him.
Kyle: What?
Diane: But, kyle, I swear I didn’t do it, and I never intended to do it.
Phyllis: So, lily, how’s my hotel? How’s it doing? Is it lucrative for you?
Lily: Well, it’s too early to tell, but we have big plans.
Phyllis: Oh, good, good. Well, will these plans be affected by all the changes at chancellor-winters?
Lily: Uh [Laughs] What are you referring to?
Phyllis: Well, I know that nate jumped ship, and he took sally spectra’s job at newman media.
Summer: Can’t say I was even a little bit upset to hear about her getting fired.
Phyllis: Uh-huh. There’s a little justice in the world.
Daniel: I’m thinking you two are going to have to fill me in on who this sally person is.
Phyllis: No, we don’t need to. Trust me.
Summer: Mnh-mnh.
Phyllis: The only reason she got the job at newman media is because she was sleeping with adam.
Daniel: So, you’re telling me to steer clear?
Phyllis: Yeah, very clear. We don’t need to talk about her, though. Ugh! Hey, I also heard something else, that billy might be leaving chancellor-winters.
Lily: Wow.
[ Laughs ] Where are you getting all this information from?
Phyllis: I heard it from ashley, who heard it from tucker mccall.
Lily: Right. Okay. Well, yes, we have a lot of changes happening, but we are stronger than ever.
Phyllis: That’s great. That’s a good P.R. Answer. Good for you.
Lily: [ Laughs ]
Billy: Hey, chelsea, it’s me. Just checking in, making sure you’re doing okay. I know I’m being a pest, but hopefully you’re used to it by now. Alright. Call me back when you get a chance, okay? Thanks.
Sharon: I really don’t see how billy is blurring any lines. He and chelsea have been friends for a long time.
Adam: Yeah, but he’s also johnny’s father, sharon. And her issues didn’t start until she became determined to tell johnny that she was his biological mother.
Sharon: Well, that may be a symptom of her problems, not necessarily the root cause.
Adam: Okay, I don’t know what difference it makes. I just know that johnny is still a very painful topic for her.
Sharon: Well, I don’t know. They had a really friendly chat on thanksgiving.
Adam: That’s great. I’m sure that just made things even murkier. And I’m sure chelsea credited billy for that.
Sharon: I don’t know if that’s true. She knows that billy left it up to johnny to decide whether he wanted to have contact with her.
Adam: Well, he seems to be taking a hands-off approach when it comes to his kid. Really wish he would do that with chelsea instead of convincing her that she should be dependent on him.
Sharon: You almost sound jealous.
Adam: No, I’m not at all. Okay? And don’t act like I’m the only one who has a problem with this dynamic. I know chelsea just talked to lily because I assume that billy’s girlfriend is just as concerned as I am about the situation.
Sharon: All I know is that conversation was chelsea’s idea.
Adam: Okay, well, in that case, I’m not going to be delayed any longer. I’m going to go talk to her, and I’m gonna see what’s going on, sharon.
Chelsea: Alright. Tell me what happened. How did this other kid know about me?
Connor: Johnny and I were talking about all the stuff that’s been going on. It was private, away from everyone else. This guy somehow overheard us. He’s a jerk, a bully. And he jumped in and started saying all this mean stuff about you. I had to make him stop.
Chelsea: Well, I’m sure that was very upsetting to hear. These things have a way of just getting out, and people handle things differently. You know, some people are kind and understanding. Some others…
Connor: Are just mean.
Chelsea: Yeah. I’m not going to justify what this little boy said because, who knows, maybe he’s got problems at home. Maybe he’s just a jerk. One thing I do know for certain. He was just trying to make you feel bad. He was just trying to force you, push you to defend your mom. But you never have to do that, not for one second.
Connor: So, you want me to let them say terrible things about you?
Chelsea: Connor, there’s something I need you to understand. I’m not ashamed about what I’m going through. I can’t be because being ashamed is what stopped me from getting help sooner. And that made things a lot worse for me.
Connor: But you’re better now, right?
Chelsea: I am. But I still have an illness. And I’m getting treatment. But it’s a process. I’m sorry. I’m sorry you have to go through this. No one wants to feel weird or different at school, but i will promise you one thing. Every kid, every family, they all have their stuff.
Connor: All of them?
Chelsea: Yes! Oh, yes. Everyone’s carrying some kind of stress or some kind of embarrassment. And that’s what the bullies, they zero in on that. You know, they look for those vulnerable spots to make you feel bad, to goad you into fighting. But we don’t need to fall for it.
Connor: But what if it does hurt? What am I supposed to do then?
Chelsea: If you’re feeling sad or feeling angry, come talk to me. Or you can talk to your dad, or you can talk to your counselor at school. You understand?
Connor: Yeah, I guess so.
Chelsea: Connor, I need you to know I love you so much, and I am getting better. And I love that you want to protect me. But it’s not your job.
[ Knock on door ]
Adam: Chelsea, it’s me.
Chelsea: No more secrets, okay?
Adam: Hi, connor. I didn’t realize school was out already. Um, what happened?
Chelsea: We need to have a talk…as a family. I brought in ensure max protein
Diane: I only pretended to accept tucker’s terms. My plan was to set a trap for him and then stop him in his tracks and reveal what he was really up to. But then I quickly realized that I was in over my head. And I have since told your father the truth about all of this.
Jack: Once she told me what tucker was trying to do, I confronted him personally. I came away thinking, “she’s right. He’s coming after jabot.”
Diane: As soon as tucker realized I wasn’t going along with his plan, he told ashley all about my relationship with jeremy stark, which I’m sure she couldn’t wait to share with nikki and phyllis.
Kyle: So, now they know. They can add it to all the other bad things they already know about you. Is it really that big of a deal?
Diane: Kyle, I don’t care what these women think about me. Nothing will ever change their minds. What I’m worried about is what they’re going to do with all this information now that jeremy stark has been released from prison.
Nikki: I know how important your relationship with jack is. Are you sure you want to continue with our efforts to get rid of diane, knowing how he feels about it?
Ashley: It’s because I care so much for my brother that I’m not going to back down, because I will not let him get manipulated by diane again. I think she has him envisioning some kind of a future together. I don’t know. But that would never happen because she hasn’t changed, right? And she never will change.
Nikki: Oh, no. She’s still the same lying, conniving person she’s always been.
Ashley: Exactly. And that’s why I’m more determined than ever to make sure she gets out of town before she could hurt anybody in my family again. But, nikki, I think we need to be more careful, and we have to be more discreet.
Nikki: Well, phyllis had the idea of reaching out to jeremy stark now that he’s out of prison. She thinks that she can plant the idea that diane plotted with the feds to get him arrested.
Ashley: He’s dangerous. I mean, are you sure that we want to be in direct contact with a man like that?
Adam: He said that to you? Who is this kid, connor? What’s his name?
Chelsea: Adam. Calm down. We can call the school together later and figure out how to handle this, if that’s what we decide to do together as a family.
Connor: So, I could have a say in this?
Chelsea: Well, I promise you, it could be a choice we all make together. But in the meantime, I need you to focus on your classes. So, don’t you have any homework?
Connor: A little.
Chelsea: Yeah. So, why don’t you go to your room and get started on that, okay?
Connor: You and dad want to talk without me around, right?
Chelsea: Yes. My brilliant son, you’re absolutely right. So go — homework.
Connor: [ Sighs ]
Adam: We have to pull him out of that school now, or that kid has to be expelled. Those are the only two options. Announcer: Type 2 diabetes?
“The young and the restless”
will continue.
Why do dermatologists
choose dove?
Phyllis: Thank you.
Summer: Thanks.
Lily: Thank you.
Phyllis: So, yeah.
[ Laughs ]
Billy: Well, well, well. This looks like a party.
Summer: Hey, why don’t you grab a seat?
Billy: Yeah. Thank you very much.
Phyllis: So, we were just talking about business with lily. I hear that you’re leaving chancellor-winters. Why would you want to leave such a great job?
Lily: The news gets around.
Billy: Yeah, it does. Um, I have decided to walk away from chancellor-winters for personal reasons. But I’ll always support lily because I believe in her.
Lily: Speaking of being supportive, daniel just pitched an amazing idea to chancellor-winters today, and we are in serious discussions to make it happen.
Phyllis: Yay!
Billy: That’s great. Yeah, that happened fast. What’s the project about again?
Phyllis: Oh, you’re not privy to all of those business discussions because you’re leaving the company.
Diane: I know jeremy stark. I have seen up close what’s beneath his perfectly polished exterior. And it’s not pretty. This is not me being paranoid. Nikki, ashley, and phyllis are putting us all in a very dangerous situation.
Kyle: Mom, are you sure —
Diane: Trust me, kyle. They are playing with fire. They have no idea what he’s capable of, how — how ruthless and cold-blooded he can be.
[ Sighs ] You know, all three of those women, they think they’ve dealt with worse and that their money and their social status will give them control over what happens. But they’re wrong.
Kyle: You’re making this guy out like he’s some kind of monster.
Diane: Because he is. None of you have any idea how abusive and unpredictable he can be. I-I am just so afraid of what’s going to happen to me if he finds out that I betrayed him and that I sent him to prison.
Kyle: You really think this man could hurt you?
Diane: I know he could. Jeremy might have gone to prison for a white-collar crime, but money laundering was not the only thing he was guilty of. The feds just couldn’t prove anything else.
Kyle: So, there’s a potentially violent felon after you.
Diane: But not just me. If he’s out for revenge, he knows that hurting the people I love would devastate me. And that means that you and harrison are at risk.
Kyle: Well, that man better not even contemplate hurting my son.
Jack: Kyle, I know how bad this sounds. Don’t worry. We will handle this together.
Kyle: Yeah, damn right we will.
Jack: And I will do everything necessary to protect your mother.
Ashley: I don’t know. I mean, it’s one thing to scare diane with the possibility that we’re going to put it in stark’s head that she betrayed him. It’s quite another to get involved with a known felon. I mean, nikki, he was laundering money for somebody, and we have no idea what else he’s been involved in.
Nikki: Well, I agree. I mean, the last thing we want is to cause any real harm. We just want her to pack her things and get out of town.
Ashley: Exactly, but she told me that he could come after my entire family.
Nikki: Hmm. I don’t know that I buy that. I think she’s just desperate and will do or say anything she can to not have to leave genoa city. The only thing that she cares about is protecting the inroads she’s made with kyle and harrison and jack.
Ashley: Yeah, you’re right. She will lie to get what she wants. That’s for certain.
Nikki: It is maddening to see her manipulate your brother. And you and I both know she’s hoping that he’s going to start looking at her as more than kyle’s mother.
Ashley: She infiltrated thanksgiving, nikki.
Nikki: [ Scoffs ] Talk about losing one’s appetite.
Ashley: I had to actually leave my own family’s thanksgiving-dinner table because I couldn’t stand the sight of her trying to manipulate my family emotionally. You know what she said? She said she was grateful that we allowed her into our family. Clearly, I never got a vote.
Nikki: Ashley, if we don’t nip this in the bud, it’s only going to get worse. She could end up living back here again.
Ashley: Oh, no. That’s not going to happen. This is my house, too.
Nikki: Well, that’s good, because with stark out of prison now, who knows? I wouldn’t be surprised if diane used harrison and the rest of your family to protect herself.
Ashley: Yeah, she’s actually putting us all at risk.
Nikki: Well, it’s really just the appearance of risk. I mean, stark would only be concerned about diane. I don’t think he’s going to go after anybody else.
Ashley: Oh, I don’t know. We can’t be sure about that. You know, honestly, I don’t want anybody to be in danger. Believe it or not, not even diane.
Nikki: I don’t think that we have to worry about that. I mean, victor and jack would never let anything happen to their families. They would know how to deal with it.
Ashley: But this was our plan, nikki. So, what now? We just hand it over to them to do all the dirty work? That doesn’t feel right to me.
Nikki: Well, ashley, I feel like you are walking away. Didn’t you just say you were committed to do whatever it takes? There’s nothing like hitting the waves.
Chelsea: Please keep your voice down. Connor can hear you. Adam, those are not our only options.
Adam: Wait. Some punk is torturing our son, and what are we — we’re just supposed to sit here and accept it? “Boys will be boys”? No, chelsea, that’s not going to happen.
Chelsea: Adam, it’s not like this is anything new. The two of us, we’ve always been in the middle of the gossip, anyway. You know better than anybody you can’t just pack it in and run away every time something like this happens.
Adam: Okay, but we’re talking about our son, chelsea. We’re talking about connor and how this affects him.
Chelsea: I realize that. And I hate this as much as you do. It makes me angry. It breaks my heart. I wish we could protect him from everything forever, but it’s just not realistic. It’s not life. That’s not the way it goes.
Adam: [ Sighs ] Okay, but we — the least we can do is try to shield him from it as much as possible.
Chelsea: I just think that that’s very shortsighted. What we need to do is help connor build confidence and strength to face these kind of things head on and not resort to using his fists. People behave badly for all sorts of reasons. It’s part of being human. You know, it makes me sad. Someone’s using me as a weapon to hurt our son. And of course I feel responsible.
[ Sighs ] But we have to do better. We have to be better, because if we fall apart, if I fall apart, what chance does connor have of getting through this?
Kyle: Dad’s right. You have nothing to worry about. And I promise I will be there to protect you, too. And between the two of us, you’ll be safe from stark.
Diane: I can’t tell you what it means to me to have the two of you standing by me like this. I hate that this is happening. I never wanted to bring trouble into our family, but it is just so wrong that those women are using my past as a weapon.
Kyle: Look. I’m not going to let anything happen to you. Now, we need to come up with a plan and get control of the situation and make sure that ashley, nikki, and phyllis don’t actually reach out to stark.
Jack: Look, I want to believe they’re bluffing. They’re just trying to scare her out of town because of this threat.
Kyle: Yeah, maybe that’s true. But mom didn’t cut and run.
Diane: No, and I made it perfectly clear that I wasn’t going to, either. I will never abandon my family again. I made that mistake once, and it won’t happen. But I don’t want to put anyone else in danger.
Kyle: You are not the one who who’d be putting anyone in danger. But we can’t risk taking any chances. We need to let everyone know this isn’t a damn game.
Summer: Daniel, this is so cool. You knocked it out of the park on your first try.
Phyllis: Like mother, like son. Entrepreneurship is in your blood.
Daniel: Telling you, I’m trying to start a brand-new chapter in my life.
Billy: You’re still painting, though, right? Is it like an online gallery or something?
Daniel: Let’s just say that it is an idea that is still in its early stages.
Summer: Well, I, for one, am dying to hear all about it. You have been so secretive since you got to town. Come on, give us a hint, at least.
Lily: Well, no, no, no. We have to keep it under wraps for now.
Summer: Okay. I guess I can be patient, especially since this project is going to keep you in town for a while.
Billy: Yeah, I haven’t heard anything about it. Lily hasn’t mentioned it.
Lily: Well, I didn’t get a chance to tell you. You’ve been really busy with other things.
Summer: [ Clears throat ]
Phyllis: Well, we have to get back to work, right? Anyway, I don’t have to say goodbye, because since you’re sticking around, I’ll see you soon!
Summer: Oh, man, I am so excited that you’re going to be living here. And I cannot wait to hear about what you’re going to be working on.
Daniel: Well, it’s good to be home.
Lily: Bye.
Phyllis: Bye.
Lily: Uh, excuse me. I have to take this.
Daniel: Ahh.
[ Laughs ] Got to say, man, a lot has changed since I left town. But you, my friend, you have not changed a bit.
Billy: Meaning what?
Tide pods ultra oxi
Daniel: I’m just saying that you’re still the same guy that you were when I left town.
Billy: Alright. Well, I’m not sure how to take that, but it kind of sounds like an insult.
Daniel: Mnh-mnh. I’m talking about your decision to abruptly leave chancellor-winters. You walk out while they’re in the middle of this big transition. I don’t know what would cause you to make that choice other than, you know, that’s just what you do. It’s who you were. It was like a pattern, from what I can remember. And lily, I mean, she doesn’t seem all that thrilled.
Billy: Well, how lily feels is really none of your business.
Daniel: Fair enough. Can I be honest?
Billy: Yeah. Why stop now?
Daniel: I got to tell you. I was more than a little surprised when I found out the two of you were a serious thing, especially after cane, the way that whole mess turned out. I just thought that she would have opted for, I don’t know, someone steadier, someone more reliable. But I guess old habits die hard, right?
Lily: Hello. What did I miss?
Chelsea: We have to show connor we can handle this so he can learn how to handle it.
Adam: You’re right. I guess I just had a knee-jerk reaction. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.
Chelsea: I’m just going to make connor a snack.
Kyle: I promise, mom. We’ve got this. We’re going to deal with it.
Jack: [ Sighs ]
Diane: Do you think I could take you to lunch as a way to thank you for your support?
Jack: How about dinner?
Kyle: Summer. We need to talk.
Summer: What’s going on?
Kyle: The attacks on my mother have escalated to a point where it could get dangerous.
Summer: Okay, I assume this is diane’s version of events.
Kyle: Phyllis threatened my mother. She said that maniac stark would come looking for if he thought that she ratted him out. Now he’s out of prison. And if phyllis puts a target on my mother’s back —
Summer: Just slow down. We don’t even know if my mom said any of that. And if she did, I’m sure she was just bluffing. Besides, if diane didn’t turn on him, there’s got to be a way to prove that. Diane did it. Are you sure? Did she tell you this herself?
Kyle: She swore dad and me to secrecy for everyone’s safety.
Summer: I should have known about this the second that you and jack did. This is my family, too.
Kyle: You’re right. I never should have agreed to keep it from you. And it’s why I’m telling you now. But now you know why this war is out of control. Phyllis is at the center of it, along with nikki and ashley. I’m telling you, summer. This has to stop now.
Ashley: Nikki, nobody wants diane out of here more than i do, absolutely nobody. But we have to think this through. What if stark does go after diane, and something happens to her as a result?
Nikki: I just don’t think anything like that will happen.
Ashley: But you can’t be 100% sure. What if we push him too far, and he becomes violent because of information that we provided? Information, by the way, that might not even be true. We’re responsible.
[ Knock on door ]
Phyllis: Hey, it’s done. Done!
Ashley: What’s done?
Phyllis: I spoke to stark — anonymously, of course.
Nikki: You spoke to him directly?
