“Happy’s Place” Review by Eva 10/20/2024

Happy’s Place stars Reba Macintire as Bobbie who inherits the bar named Happy’s Place after the death of her father.

Bobbie is stunned when, at the reading of her father’s will, she finds out she has a half-sister named Isabella (Belissa Escobedo) who owns half the bar. The two sisters must get to know each other and run the bar together. The bar has a cast of quirky employees and customers. Melissa Peterman plays Gabby the bartender at Happy’s Place who wishes she was Bobbie ‘s half-sister.

The show has plenty of funny moments, most notably, when Reba and Melissa Peterman are on screen together since they worked together before on the show Reba. They have their comedy timing perfect with each other. The other cast members need more time to work together on their comedic timing. The cast needs time to relax and get into a rhythm with each other.

The show airs Fridays at 8 PM EST/7 PM CST.

I think this is one of those shows that will get better as the season goes on and the audience gets to know the characters in the show.

I give the show 3 out of 5 stars.
