Sonny: Good to see you, Brick.

Brick: Good to see you. How you doing, man?

Sonny: Howā€™d you get here so fast from L.A.?

Brick: Ah. I know a guy who knows a guy whoā€™s got a jet fueled and ready at LAX. When you call, Iā€™m here. How you doing, man? How can I help you?

Sonny: Thereā€™s, uh ā€” thereā€™s been a void in my life too long that Iā€™ve been trying to fill, butā€¦

Brick: Someone used to fill that void.

Sonny: Yeah. Jason.

Man: Been a long time, Ms. Davis.

Alexis: Itā€™s you.

Man: You remember.

Alexis: Oh, I never forget a face. Especially when it belongs to the man who blamed me for his brotherā€™s death.

Harmony: [ Sighs ]

Nina: Hey. Hi. So, how did it go with Michael and Willow? You saw them, right?

Harmony: Yeah. Yeah, I did.

Nina: A-and? Did ā€” did you tell them that itā€™s in Wileyā€™s best interests to let him visit with me?

Harmony: I said all that and more.

Nina: Great. Andā€¦?

Harmony: [ Sighs ]

Nina: Come on, Harmony. Donā€™t leave me in suspense. What did Michael and Willow say?

Harmony: Not what you wanted to hear.

Nikolas: [ Sighs ] Thereā€™s nothing to be afraid of. Youā€™re safe.

Esme: This place is extraordinary. I mean, even the name sounds grand. Wyndemere.

Spencer: Itā€™s not like you havenā€™t been here before.

Esme: Not for months. Itā€™s good to be back.

Nikolas: Well, most importantly, youā€™re safe from Sonny and his goons here.

Spencer: And what about the lady of the house? When are you gonna loop Ava in?

[ Door closes ]

Judge Young: Ms. Robinson, there are two counts against you. How do you plead? Ms. Robinson?

Scott: Your honor ā€”

Trina: I-I got this. Your honorā€¦ I plead not guilty.

Brick: The sunā€™s going down. Perfect time to raise a glass to our gone but never forgotten friend. Yeah. What happened to the bar? No single malt, aged 12 years in a sherry cask?

Sonny: Ah, Iā€™m taking a break from the hard stuff. But the barā€™s loaded, if you want to go and help yourself.

Brick: Wither thou goest, I will go.

Sonny: [ Laughs ] I was hoping youā€™d say that.

[ Both chuckle ]

Brick: So, how can I help you fill that void? You up for an adventure? San Juan, Hong Kong? Marrakesh?

Sonny: No, not adventure. Monica has declared Jason legally dead, so weā€™re all gonna be going to the memorial service.

Brick: May he rest in peace.

Sonny: Maybe Jason can, but I can’t. You rememberā€¦ uh, Selina Wu?

Brick: I do.

Sonny: Right.

Brick: Formidable lady. She causing you trouble?

Sonny: Sheā€™s been giving me advice. Um, Iā€™ve heard it many times.

Brick: What advice is this, exactly?

Sonny: I canā€™t run the business alone anymore, Brick. I need somebody else to step up and fill that hole that Jason left behind.

Brick: I accept.

Alexis: Brendan, isnā€™t it?

Brendan: It is.

Alexis: Last time we saw each other was at Neil’s funeral. Not a very pleasant occasion, for many reasons.

Brendan: This is a celebration of Neil’s life. You stripped him of everything he considered worth living for. I do not want this service tainted with your presence. Youā€™re not welcome.

Alexis: You made your feelings crystal clear. And if itā€™s any consolation, that moment was devastating to me and sent me into my own personal hell.

Brendan: I heard you lost your law license, hit the booze pretty hard, and didnā€™t stop until you attacked a cop and went to prison.

Alexis: Mm. Very flattered that youā€™ve kept up with my life. What do you want?

Nina: Listen, Willow just told you what she thought Michael wanted to hear. You know what you need to do? Get her alone.

Harmony: [ Sighs ]

Nina: Sheā€™ll change her mind and let me see Wiley.

Harmony: No, Iā€™m sorry, Nina. Willow does not think itā€™s in Wileyā€™s best interest to have contact with you.

Nina: So Michael and Willow want a fight, do they? Theyā€™ll get a fight. Especially after my run-in with Carly earlier.

Harmony: What happened?

Nina: Well, I foolishly tried to talk to Carly about reaching a compromise with Wiley, but she wasnā€™t having it.

Harmony: Is she not just going through a rough patch, right? She got divorced from Sonny.

Nina: Carly filed for that divorce. She pushed it through basically overnight. She threw away Sonny with both hands.

Harmony: Just give her some time. Let, you know, Carly lick her wounds, give her time to heal.

Nina: If that ever happens. And then what, Harmony? Wiley will be in college, asking, ā€œwhoā€™s Nina?ā€ And heā€™ll never know who his birth mother is. If only I knew that Nelle was my daughter before she died. I could have saved her from herself. [ Voice breaking ] I know I couldā€™ve. And I wouldnā€™t have to be begging for a chance to get to know my grandson or for him to know me.

Nikolas: Iā€™ll wait to tell Ava when she gets home. Right now, sheā€™s at your friend Trinaā€™s hearing.

Spencer: Right. That was today.

Esme: Do you wish you were there?

[ Liquid pouring ]

Spencer: Iā€™m the last person that Trina wants to see.

Esme: I didnā€™t ask what Trina wants.

Nikolas: Esme, do you want to drop your bags off in your bedroom? Itā€™s the same one you were in last time you were here.

Spencer: Father, you canā€™t stop Esme from bringing up Trina. Sheā€™s obsessed.

Esme: Donā€™t I have reason to be? I mean, it doesnā€™t matter that thereā€™s evidence that Trina posted that video of Joss and Cam. Sonny corinthos still believes it was me.

Nikolas: Which is why youā€™re at Wyndemere. Itā€™s Spencerā€™s home. And itā€™s safe.

Esme: Is any place really safe from Sonny Corinthos?

Spencer: Uncle Sonny will do anything and everything to protect his family.

Esme: Protect them from me, you mean.

Spencer: I didnā€™t say that.

Esme: Oh, I didnā€™t have to. Iā€™ll take my bags up.

Nikolas: Why are you treating Esme this way when you invited her to stay here?

Spencer: Iā€™m sorry, father, but she really pushes my buttons. The way that Iā€™ve been known to push other people’s. By the way, is there a bomb shelter on the island?

Nikolas: Why?

Spencer: Because Iā€™d like to be inside it when you tell Ava that Esme and I have moved in.

Scott: Stick with me, kid. Theyā€™ll be sorry they tried to railroad you.

ADA Arden: Your honor, this was a premeditated act that required a significant amount of planning. The defendant specifically targeted her friends with the intent to cause harm. The state asks that bail be set at $250,000.

Scott: Your honor, my client is a freshman in college. Sheā€™s not Lizzie Borden. She has ties to the community. She is innocent until proven guilty. She should be released without bond.

ADA Arden: If the defendant is released without posting significant bail and has access to a computer, she has the capacity to do significant harm. Who knows who else sheā€™s taped?

Scott: You know, why donā€™t you save that for your closing statement, if you can get that far?

Judge Young: That will be enough, Mr. Baldwin. Ms. Arden, there is no indication that the defendant poses a threat to the community. Therefore, the defendant is released without bond.

[ Gavel bangs ]

Judge Young: Ms. Robinson, youā€™re free to go, pending a trial date to be determined.

Bailiff: Court is adjourned.

Portia: Oh, honey, I have never been prouder of you.

Trina: Thanks.

Portia: Good job. Oh!

Curtis: Trina, you were great. You did great.

Ava: May I?

Trina: Thank you so much for coming.

Ava: Oh, Trina, Iā€™m just so proud of you for proclaiming your innocence.

Portia: And now we prove it, whatever it takes.

Trina: You too, Webber.

Cameron: [ Chuckles ]

Brendan: I was in pain, and I wasnā€™t ready to face my brotherā€™s failings. So I lashed out at you, blamed you for his death.

Alexis: Is that an apology?

Brendan: It is.

Alexis: I wish that I knew about Neil’s addiction. I maybe could have helped. But he hid it from me, so I had no clue.

Brendan: Well, youā€™ve suffered enough. But look at you now ā€” brand-new career, off the booze, respected, productive member of your community.

Alexis: Well, thank you for the compliment. You were really hostile to me at Neil’s funeral. So what is it with the sudden attitude adjustment?

Brendan: Oh, Iā€™ve had some bad luck myself. Failed marriage, failed business. Itā€™s taught me humility.

Alexis: And the need to make amends?

Brendan: Well, as two people who loved Neil, I hoped we could come to an understanding.

Harmony: Iā€™m sorry, Nina, that nothing can bring back Wileyā€™s birth mother. But you have to know that Willow loves that little boy like heā€™s her own flesh and blood. And if you give it some time, maybe she can convince Michael to let you see your grandson.

Nina: How much time? This is the same woman that you told me who doesnā€™t think that Iā€™m good for Wiley. I remember when she was ā€œMs. Tait,ā€ and she taught my former stepdaughter Charlotte. I didnā€™t like her then. I should have trusted my instincts.

Harmony: Willow is highly principled.

Nina: Oh, please. I mean, she tells me that sheā€™s going to help me. And then the next moment, she pulls a 180 and then sides with Michael. She doesnā€™t have a backbone. She only pretends that sheā€™s compassionate. That ā€œweeping Willowā€ is no oak.

Harmony: Just because sheā€™s gentle doesnā€™t mean sheā€™s weak.

Nina: Iā€™m so sorry. I know that sheā€™s your daughter. Iā€™m just frustrated.

Nina: I mean, look how she has treated you, right? Sheā€™s barely spoken to you since you got out of prison.

Harmony: Things are much better between us now.

Nina: Oh, until Michael shuts her down. And then whatā€™s gonna happen? She is incapable of standing up to the man or Carly. Iā€™d be better off to ask a stranger for help.

Harmony: Willow is no stranger! And sheā€™s just as strong as her mother!

Nina: No, no, no, no. No, sheā€™s never gonna be as strong as you, Harmony. Youā€™ve overcome a lot, and you turned your life around. Willow would be lucky to have even one drop of your courage.

Harmony: [ Voice breaking ] Iā€™m sorry. I forgot I have an appointment. I have to go.

Sonny: Was that a serious offer? ā€˜Cause I could use your areas of expertise.

Brick: Oh, I can definitely help with the logistics, business support, definitely cybersecurity. But youā€™ll need to bring in somebody else as a facilitator.

Sonny: I trust you with my life.

Brick: Trust goes both ways. You know that.

Sonny: So, Jason used to do the day-to-day.

Brick: Mm-hmm.

Sonny: But since he passed, I got to deal with the other families and try to figure out who targeted my stepdaughter.

Brick: You mean the tape of her and her boyfriend?

Sonny: You saw the tape?

Brick: Hell, no. But I saw people seeing it. And I got to tell you, it took every bit of self-control I could muster for me not to take every one of them out. Please tell me you found out who did this.

Sonny: I know whoā€™s responsible. I donā€™t have proof yet.

Brick: [ Sighs ]

Sonny: But I put them on notice.

Ava: Well, congratulations. Youā€™ve got one courageous client.

Scott: Yeah, tell me about it, but sheā€™s got a big fight ahead. Oh, hey, counselor, get used to the judge seeing things my way.

ADA Arden: Cybercrimes are insidious. The lawā€™s still catching up. The fact is, whatever goes on the internet lives there forever. And your client taped her friends without their knowledge and put it up for the whole world to see.

Scott: Hey, Molly, tell your boss here ā€”

Molly: You can address me as ADA Lansing-Davis.

Scott: Ohh, brother, okay. But y-you donā€™t really believe that Trina did it.

Molly: I believe that DA Scorpio offered a generous plea bargain. And it was your obligation, as Trinaā€™s attorney, to advise her to take it.

ADA Arden: My associateā€™s right. You should have taken the deal. But you didnā€™t, so weā€™re going to trial. Iā€™m gonna take a stand for everyone whoā€™s ever had an intimate picture or video weaponized against them. Your client may have thought it was no big deal, but she was mistaken. And sheā€™ll go to prison for the full term.

Trina: Thank you for being here, for standing by me.

Josslyn: Thatā€™s what friends do.

Trina: You took back the narrative when you told your story to the invader. Your courage made me realize that I donā€™t need to give in to cyberbullies, to Esme. The world needs to know Iā€™m not the one who hurt you.

Scott: Okay, so, listen, we got to talk strategy.

Portia: Now? I-I mean, is that really necessary? Trinaā€™s already been through so much today.

Scott: That ADA is out for blood.

Curtis: The judge hasnā€™t even set a trial date yet.

Trina: Honestly, I just want to take a long, hot bath.

Scott: Okay. You can do that. Tomorrow, we got a lot of work to do.

Trina: Thanks.

Curtis: Okay, I noticed that there were reporters outside in the corridor, and theyā€™re gonna want a statement, which I donā€™t think any of us should be making.

Ava: Oh, I know my way around this courthouse. We can exit this way.

Portia: [ Chuckles ] Letā€™s go home.

Trina: [ Chuckles ]

Portia: Bye.

Cameron: Joss?

Josslyn: If this were my mom, she would walk out of this courtroom with her head held high.

Cameron: But youā€™re not your mom, okay? You have nothing to prove.

Josslyn: Yeah, only to myself.

Smoltz: Hey, hold up. Hold up.

Cameron: No, youā€™re too late. Trina went out the back.

Smoltz: Oh, itā€™s not Trina Robinson I want, Mr. Webber. Itā€™s you and your girlfriend.

Josslyn: [ Scoffs ] We already told our story to the invader. Read it yourself, if you can afford the paywall.

Smoltz: I did read it.

Cameron: Well, if you did read it, then you would know we have nothing else to say.

Smoltz: I know Alexis Davis stole my scoop and cut me out of the story.

Cameron: Oh, boo-hoo. Lifeā€™s unfair.

Smoltz: What ā€” well, what about your friend Trina, huh? Your story did some good. But what about your friend?

Josslyn: What about Trina?

Smoltz: Did she do it? Did she film you two and then post it?

Josslyn: [ Scoffs ]

Cameron: Hell, no.

Smoltz: How can you be so sure? Do you know whoā€™s responsible? Oh, you do know. You just canā€™t prove it.

Josslyn: What do you want, Mr. Smoltz?

Smoltz: An exclusive. Tell me everything you know, stuff you didnā€™t say in the interview. And Iā€™ll help you get the goods on whoever set up your friend. Sound good?

[ Footsteps approaching ]

Ava: You! Get the hell away from them!

Portia: Welcome home. [ Chuckles ]

[ Door closes ]

Portia: So, tell me. What do you think?

Trina: I mean, I liked it when it belonged to Jossā€™s dad. I like it even better now that itā€™s yours.

[ Both laugh ]

Trina: A safe harbor.

Curtis: Good memories?

Trina: Yeah. I mean, six months ago, our biggest problem was opening a jar of Sonnyā€™s marinara sauce. [ Sighs ] Now everythingā€™s changed.

Curtis: Well, now, you heard what the lawyer said. Weā€™re gonna fight this.

Portia: Weā€™re gonna fight this, and weā€™re gonna win.

Trina: I told Joss and Cam that their courage gave me courage. But your support helped me out a lot, too.

Curtis: Well, um, we can do a lot more than offer moral support. I could, um, find evidence to exonerate you. I havenā€™t forgotten how to find clues in dumpsters and garbage cans.

Portia: [ Chuckles ] Letā€™s just hope that it doesnā€™t come to that.

Trina: Yeah. I hate to admit it, but Spencerā€™s right. On one hand, there are tons of people who believe in me.

Curtis: And, uh ā€” and on the other hand?

Trina: Thereā€™s evidence that proves I did it. Esme made sure of that.

Nikolas: Avaā€™s well aware of Sonnyā€™s methods when he feels someone has crossed him or his family. Sheā€™ll understand the need to protect Esme.

Spencer: But will she understand why Iā€™m sitting across from her at breakfast? [ Sniffles ]

Nikolas: Yeah. This isnā€™t a permanent arrangement. You know, if Trina is found guilty, even Sonny will have to accept the verdict and back off.

Spencer: Even if Uncle Sonny does, I donā€™t think that Ava will, because Ava loves Trina like a daughter, and she would happily throw Esme to the wolves if it means that Trina goes free.

Nikolas: And if Esme is carrying your child? Ava might not like it. Sheā€™ll make peace with it.

Spencer: And if Esme isnā€™t pregnant?

Nikolas: Itā€™s all the more reason for you to find out.

Brick: So little Spencer has a girlfriend.

Sonny: Yeah, heā€™s not little anymore.

Brick: You always ā€” youā€™ve always liked this kid.

Sonny: I still do, but not ā€” not his company.

Brick: Youā€™re convinced this Esme Prince is behind the video. Are you sure Spencer didnā€™t help her?

Sonny: Well, you know, Spencerā€™s done some terrible things, but heā€™s known Josslyn since they were in kindergarten.

Brick: Yeah.

Sonny: And, uh, Cameron I-isā€¦ part of his extended family, I think his ā€” I think his hands are clean.

Brick: So the girlfriend is operating behind his back.

Sonny: Yeah. If we can prove that Trina is innocent and Esme is ā€” is guilty, it wonā€™t be just justice for Josslyn and Cameron. It will be a way for Spencerā€¦ to dump this girlfriend.

Brick: I know youā€™ve got your own people on it, but as always, if you need meā€¦

Sonny: Yeah, I need you.

Brick: Then Iā€™m on it. But in the meantimeā€¦

Sonny: What is on your mind?

Brick: Youā€™re always running around here looking out for everybody else. Whoā€™s looking out for you?

Scott: Ah, hiya, Nina. What do you want? Uh, I-Iā€™m very busy. I got a young woman that needs my help, unlike you.

Nina: Uh, okay, whatever. Listen, I am sorry. I thought we could avoid going to court.

Scott: Oh, you thought you might get, uh, Wileyā€™s parents, somebody to intercede with them, like Sonny? But he threw you to the wolves, didnā€™t he?

Nina: No, this has nothing to do with Sonny. Itā€™s just my go-between, she couldnā€™t really do anything because Willow is so besotted with Michael, she wonā€™t stand up to him or Carly.

Scott: Well, why would she? Her mother couldnā€™t even stand up to a snake-oil salesman.

Nina: Okay.

Scott: Shiloh.

Nina: Alright, youā€™re not making this easy for me, are you? So can we just ā€” can we sit down?

Scott: W-why should I? I mean, I kept you out of prison, and you turn your nose up to my legal expertise. So if you want my help nowā€¦ I-Iā€™m gonna have to hear you say it.

Alexis: I assume this understanding comes at a price?

Brendan: I wouldnā€™t put it that way.

Alexis: Oh, well, then how would you put it?

Brendan: You couldnā€™t have risen from the ashes, shall we say, without help. Is it wrong of me to want the same thing?

Alexis: I donā€™t know. It depends on what you mean by ā€œhelp.ā€ Forgiveness? Friendship?

Brendan: My brother lost his life by getting involved with a self-destructive alcoholic.

Alexis: There it is. There it is. I was wondering how long you were gonna keep up the ā€œMr. Nice guyā€ act. Thereā€™s the door. Move toward it and donā€™t look back.

Brendan: My brother was never a rich man, and funerals are expensive. You can deny it all you want, but you contributed to Neil’s death. You need to make things right.

Alexis: I will never stop wondering what happened to Neil, how he became an addict and how that addiction took his life. And I will tell you, Iā€™m not at all satisfied that thatā€™s the truth. But I will not be browbeaten into paying for his brotherā€™s mistakes. And thereā€™s nothing you can say thatā€™s gonna change my mind.

Brendan: Are you sure about that?

Alexis: You need to leave.

Brendan: Iā€™m not leaving until I get what I want.

Harmony: Oh, Alexis, am I early?

Alexis: No, actually. Youā€™re right on time. Brendan was just leaving.

Harmony: Hey, Harmony miller.

Brendan: Brendan Byrne, Neil’s brother. Harmony miller. Why do I know that name? Have we met before?

Harmony: No, no, I donā€™t think so. You might have seen me on TV in, uh, connection with an organization called Dawn of Day. I was pretty notorious back then.

Brendan: Well, that must be it.

Alexis: Harmony and I were just leaving, Brendan, so if you donā€™t mindā€¦

Brendan: Of course. Iā€™ll send you my contact information. If you see an opportunity you think I might be right for, just let me know. Ms. Miller.

Harmony: What was that all about?

Alexis: [ Sighs ] I donā€™t know, but it was scary.

Sonny: You donā€™t have to worry about me. I spent all those months in Nixon Falls. If I can survive that, I can survive anything.

Brick: But you werenā€™t alone.

Sonny: You talking about Nina?

Brick: Uh, yeah. She must be one hell of a lady to come between you and Carly.

Sonny: You still have something for my wife?

Brick: [ Chuckles ] Donā€™t you mean ex-wife? I just admire your taste. But you gave up Carly. I hope this new ladyā€™s worth it.

Scott: Thank you.

Nina: Okay. You need to hear me say it. [ Clears throat ] [ Lowered voice ] I made a mistake.

Scott: What?

Nina: [ Normal voice ] I made a mistake, okay? Alright, I shouldnā€™t have pinned all my hopes on Willowā€™s compassion.

Scott: [ Sighs ]

Nina: Do you feel better?

Scott: You know, maybe you ought to hire Martin Grey. You know, that folksy, down-home charm, I-I-it works with a few judges.

Nina: I donā€™t need folksy, down-home charm. I need a fighter, a killer thatā€™ll leave his opponents bloody on the field.

Scott: Ohh. Thatā€™s me. However, Iā€™m a little busy right now with Trina Robinson.

Nina: Scott, I need your help, and Iā€™m willing to put you on retainer immediately.

Scott: Before I take your money, I need to know that youā€™re gonna fight for Wiley. No matter what, youā€™re gonna fight. And if that means kicking Sonny to the curb, then youā€™re gonna do that.

Portia: What do you think?

Trina: Itā€™s a great room. Thank you.

Portia: I made it up just like your old room. You probably want to get rid of all of those stuffed animals. Youā€™ve probably outgrown them.

Trina: No. No, no, never. But, I mean, Iā€™m still looking forward to returning to my dorms whenever this nightmare ends and I prove my innocence. Then this place will be yours.

Portia: This is your home, too. You hear me? And you donā€™t have to be brave. Weā€™re all in this together.

Curtis: All of us.

Portia: Come here.

Josslyn: What part of ā€œno wayā€ do you not understand?

Cameron: Just give it up, man.

Ava: [ Scoffs ] A ā€œjournalistā€ like Mr. Smoltz wonā€™t stop until you slam the door in his face ā€” or, better yet, on his writing hand.

Smoltz: Excuse me, Ms. Jerome, havenā€™t you heard of the First Amendment?

Ava: Yeah, comes right before the Second.

Smoltz: Oh, that sounds like a threat.

Ava: I was hoping it would.

Cameron: Ms. Jerome, Joss and I, we can handle this.

Josslyn: Weā€™re not interested in boosting your career.

Cameron: In other words, get lost.

Smoltz: Fine. Your loss. And your friend Trina’s.

[ Door slams ]

Josslyn: This wasnā€™t your fight.

Ava: Well, no, on the contrary. Avery would never forgive me if I didnā€™t stand up for her sister.

Cameron: That guy had one thing right. Trinaā€™s in deep trouble until we can prove sheā€™s innocent.

Josslyn: And Esmeā€™s guilty.

Esme: I just got an alert on my phone. Trina pled not guilty.

Spencer: I hope she can prove it.

Esme: Even if she tries to accuse me instead? When I might be carrying your child?

Spencer: Letā€™s find out. Why havenā€™t you taken that home pregnancy test yet?

Esme: Iā€™m scared, okay?

Spencer: I get it, Esme. But are you scared that youā€™re pregnant or that youā€™re not?

Harmony: I assume Brendan was here talking about his brother. Is that what caused all the tension when I walked in?

Alexis: That was really weird. He shows up all sympathetic, not at all like the guy that heaped all this abuse on me at Neilā€™s funeral.

Harmony: Has something changed?

Alexis: Yeah, he thought this ā€œMr. Nice guyā€ act would convince me to help bail him out of his troubles. And when I refused, he went from Jekyll to Hyde. He thinks I owe him for causing Neilā€™s relapse that caused his death.

Harmony: Well [Sighs] It was a good thing that I walked in when I did. Just stay away from Neilā€™s brother. The farther the better, Alexis.

Ava: Donā€™t lose any sleep over Esme. The truth will come out, and Trina will be vindicated.

Cameron: You sound confident.

Josslyn: Yeah, Esme has skated so far, Ava.

Ava: I have spoken to someone who has an interest in seeing that Esme is punished for targeting the two of you.

Cameron: And whoā€™s that?

Ava: I know itā€™s difficult for you to trust me. This time, youā€™re gonna have to. Esme is gonna get whatā€™s coming to her.

Esme: I want you with me when I take the test. But I donā€™t need a test to tell me what I really want.

Spencer: Which is?

Esme: You. I want to be with you. But do you want to be with me?

Spencer: Esme ā€”

Esme: N-no, no. Donā€™t answer that now. Just ask yourself this. With or without the baby, does my being here work to your advantage?

Spencer: How?

Esme: By driving a wedge between your father and Ava. I mean, isnā€™t that what you wanted all along?

Sonny: Iā€™m taking it day to day, my friend.

Brick: Hm.

Sonny: Uh, as far as me and Nina, I canā€™t read into the future. But I will say this. [ Sighs ] That the connection we had in Nixon Fallsā€¦ ā€¦was real.

Brick: Sonny, I know you. When you want something, you go for it and you usually get it.

šŸŽµ But peace, peace, peace / and loyalty is needed

Nina: Oh. [ Laughs ]

Brick: Youā€™re thinking about her right now, arenā€™t you?

Sonny: Can we get back to the matter at hand?

Brick: Ah, the future. [ Sighs ] Without Jason. Thatā€™s something we can work on. But a future without love, with all due respect, my brother, thatā€™s not for you.

Nina: Sonny knows that I am not gonna force him to pick sides.

Scott: Yeah, but, uh, Carly and Michael and Willow will. So if Sonny has to chooseā€¦

Nina: Heā€™s gonna do whatā€™s best for his family. And Iā€™m going to do whatā€™s best for mine.

Scott: Are you willing to lose lover boy?

Nina: I wonā€™t lose him if heā€™s the man that I knew at Nixon Falls and the man that I see in Port Charles.

Scott: What makes you think that you can just have it all?

Nina: Iā€™m gonna have my grandson in my life, Scott, and Iā€™m going to have the man that changed my life for the better.

Scott: Well, Iā€™m sorry, but nobody gets it all. Nobody.

Nina: Thereā€™s always a first.

Sonny: Letā€™s, um, regroup after Jasonā€™s memorial service. In the meantime, are you willing to take on more managerial responsibilities?

Brick: Iā€™ll head the search for the facilitator to take on some of Jasonā€™s other skill sets. Donā€™t worry about that.

Sonny: Okay. I got one more job for you.

Brick: Yeah.

Sonny: I want you to find out how Esme prince engineered that video.

Brick: Iā€™m on that. No problem.

Sonny: Alright, you want a drink to seal the deal? Sparkling water.

Brick: [ Chuckles ] And to think I thought I always admired you, Sonny.

Sonny: Not anymore?

Brick: More than ever.

[ Glasses clink ]

Scott: Michael is out to win, okay? And Diane Miller, sheā€™s a tough cookie. She will dig up whatever she can.

Nina: I understand.

Scott: Okay, then is there anything I need to know before I file this petition?

Nina: No, I mean, donā€™t faint, but I think my life is pretty much an open book at this point.

Scott: Really? No little secrets in your diary, skeletons in the closet?

Nina: No. I mean, Wiley is the only thing left of my daughter in this world. And I owe it to Nelle to be in his life. Whether Michael or saint Willow like it or not.

Scott: Okay, then hang your hat with me. You wonā€™t regret it.

Nina: I hope not.

Alexis: Anyway, you never did say what brought you by.

Harmony: Oh, itā€™s nothing important. It can wait. You know what? Iā€™m gonna cook dinner for you tonight. Iā€™m gonna make something soothing.

Alexis: Good. I can use something soothing. Having his brother here reminds me how horrible Neilā€™s death was. And I-I really canā€™t help wonder if that addiction is the thing that caused his death. Ah, shoot. I forgot my phone.

Brendan: I knew that name was familiar.

Trina: Itā€™s one thing to plead not guilty, but now I have to live with that decision. That ADA is obviously out to get me. I couldnā€™t believe what she said ā€” $250,000 bail.

Curtis: Um, well, honey, I do believe that she was just grandstanding. You know. Uh, the judge ignored her recommendation.

Trina: This time, but she thinks Iā€™m guilty. And Scott said sheā€™s out for blood. What if she convinces the jury that I am guilty?

Portia: Thatā€™s not going to happen. And instead of dwelling on it, why donā€™t you go on upstairs and take that nice long, hot bath that you were talking about earlier? Itā€™ll make you feel better.

Trina: Okay. You talked me into it.

Portia: [ Chuckles ] Good. [ Voice breaking ] I donā€™t know how long I can keep this up. What if Trinaā€™s right? We have no idea whatā€™s gonna happen. I donā€™t know what Iā€™m gonna do.

Curtis: Trina has a lot of people by her side, okay? And that daughter of yours, she has more courage than anyone I know.

Portia: And I donā€™t disagree with you. I-I-I do. I have faith in my daughter. Just not in the world.

Curtis: Babyā€¦

Portia: [ Sniffles ]

Curtis: ā€¦As long as we have faith in each other, we canā€™t lose.

Cameron: Ready to go home?

Josslyn: Actually, I think I want to go back to the dorm. What?

Cameron: Itā€™s just Trina isnā€™t the only one being brave.

Josslyn: Oh, Iā€™m not being brave. I just want things to go back to normal, if thatā€™s even possible.

Cameron: And I will try to help make that happen.

Josslyn: Thank you.

Cameron: Come on, letā€™s go.

Josslyn: Actually, can we go out the front?

Cameron: Are you sure?

Josslyn: Yeah. I mean, if I can face a bunch of people on campus, I can face a couple reporters outside. Itā€™s hard to believe that Trinaā€™s gonna come back here and fight for her innocence.

Cameron: It doesnā€™t matter what Ava says. This is going to be tough.

Josslyn: Yeah, which is why we need to help Trina. We ā€” we need to help find a piece of evidence that Esme framed her.

Cameron: Okay, but how do we pull that off?

Josslyn: [ Sighs ] By proving that Esme can be in two places at once. Well, come on. [ Sighs ]

Ava: Nikolas, my sweet! Where are you?

Esme: Heā€™s upstairs.

On the next ā€œGeneral Hospitalā€ ā€”

Female child (to Brook Lynn): Howā€™s your baby?

Finn (to Elizabeth): Iā€™m right here, by your side, no matter what happens.

Gregory (to Chase): So good to see you, son.

Brad (to Terry): And I was just hoping that ā€¦ you might still believe in second chances.

Britt (to Selina): And why would I do that?

Ava (to Nikolas): Whatā€™s it gonna be?

Spencer (to Esme): Itā€™s time to take that pregnancy test.
