Josslyn: Hi.

Cameron: Hi.  Come in, please. Okay. I-I just got to get my keys. Hey, Joss.

Elizabeth: Cameron, have you seen my —

Cameron: Mom.

Josslyn: Oh, Mrs. Baldwin.

Elizabeth: Sorry. Didn’t mean to interrupt.

Trina: Not that I’m complaining, but this is the second time we’ve worked remotely. You sure we can keep the gallery closed this much?

Ava: If a client needs me, they can call me. Besides, before you know it, you’ll be off at PCU busy with classes. Really, you should take every opportunity to enjoy this time with friends.

Spencer: I couldn’t agree more.

Nikolas: Okay, bye.

Sam: Hey.

Nikolas: Sam.

Sam: Hi.

Nikolas: I keep meaning to call you and your sisters.

Sam: That’s okay. Um, Mom told me you went to visit her at Spring Ridge. What did you think?

Nikolas: It’s not bad for a minimum-security prison. I mean, the facilities are infinitely better than Pentonville. The focus is less on incarceration, more on rehabilitation. I think on the whole, it’s a good move for Alexis.

Sam: But?

Nikolas: Ryan Chamberlain is currently being housed there.

Olivia: Who wants to help me decorate?

Brook Lynn: Well, Valentin can’t. He’s actually missing Bailey’s feeding for an important meeting.

Valentin: I thought you’d enjoy spending time alone with our daughter.

Olivia: [ Scoffs ] What are you looking for?

Valentin: My phone. Um, would it be too much to ask that we don’t let Wiley play with this?

Brook Lynn: Ask Michael or Willow. Not my kid, not my problem. Is it, sweetie? ‘Cause you would never take Daddy’s phone.

Valentin: Now I am late.

Olivia: Can we be expecting you for Wiley’s birthday party today?

Valentin: Wouldn’t miss that for the world. Au revoir, mon ange. Don’t miss Daddy too much.

Chase: Sorry about that.

Valentin: Please tell me this is not another toy for Wiley. Trust me, between Olivia, Michael, and Willow, we have that area covered.

Chase: Willow said I only needed to bring myself, but Wiley’s my stepson. I didn’t want to show up empty-handed. Thank you.

Valentin: Actually…

Chase: What?

Valentin: I owe you an apology.

[ Knock on door ]

Anna: Hi.

Dante: Why you holding out on me?

[ Door closes ]

Anna: I’m not.

Dante: Really?

Anna: Yeah.

Dante: I thought we were sharing our information in our investigation into Peter’s disappearance.

Anna: We are.

Dante: So what changed?

Chase: What do you have to apologize for?

Valentin: Detective, I am the reason that Peter was raised by his father, Cesar Faison. I turned a blind eye to his worst traits, and I was slow to react. I-I didn’t do anything until it was too late.

Chase: Look, there is a lot that you should be sorry for. But Peter putting me in this chair isn’t one of them. Only Peter is responsible for Peter.

Valentin: You’re a kind man. Thank you… for your willingness to let me off the hook.

Chase: And almost dying did have its good points. It sped up my relationship with Willow.

Valentin: That’s amazing. Congratulations on your marriage.

Chase: Thank you. Now I’m just waiting for the day that I can get out of this chair and be Willow’s husband in… every sense of the word.

Valentin: Well, they say attitude is everything. I have no doubt that your positive attitude will work wonders in your life. Just know that I deeply regret my part in the collateral damage in Peter’s wake. Have a good day.

Anna: I just saw you yesterday. If I’d found out anything more, I would have told you.

Dante: Oh, yeah, just like how you told me that you and Finn were gonna be in the sub-basement.

Anna: Yeah, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing.

Dante: Oh.

Anna: It was a long shot. I didn’t know until we got down there that it was a legitimate lead. Did you hear anything from forensics?

Dante: Yeah. They’ve been working through the night picking up partial prints.

Anna: Okay?

Dante: Mostly unusable.

Anna: Oh. So, any fingerprints or DNA that could help us identify Peter’s companion?

Dante: Just blood mostly, in the corridors and elevator.

Anna: Mm-hmm.

Dante: All belonging to Peter.

Anna: Oh. And this blood, is it… droplet or a smear pattern?

Dante: It’s droplets.

Anna: So that means that Peter wasn’t dragged out of there.

Dante: Yeah, it means Peter was carried out of there, or he walked out under his own power. Either way, it means he’s still out there.

Elizabeth: Good morning, Josslyn.

Josslyn: Morning. Um, I’m gonna meet you at the pool.

Cameron: Sounds good.

[ Door closes ]

Cameron: So, Joss and I are kind of together.

Elizabeth: Kind of? You guys looked pretty together to me.

Cameron: Are you mad at me?

Elizabeth: [ Chuckling ] No. No, I’m not mad. Josslyn is a sweet girl, and she’s been a good friend to you. And you’ve known each other forever. I’m glad you have each other.

Cameron: Me, too. And I-I’m sorry for not telling you sooner. I wasn’t intentionally keeping Joss and me from you. I guess I’m just kind of used to going to Franco with these kinds of things.

Brook Lynn: Once again, you’re criticizing my mothering skills.

Olivia: And once again, you are getting defensive over nothing. Honey, I was giving you a compliment. You’re always putting down your mothering skills, and I’m trying to tell you that the opposite is true. You’re amazing with Bailey.

Brook Lynn: I am?

Olivia: Honey, you’re a natural. And you were right, reminding me that I trusted you with Leo when he was a newborn. I actually forgot how good you are with babies.

Brook Lynn: Guess I keep forgetting, too.

Olivia: I know firsthand that you are capable of immense love and selflessness. Honey, and now with your own, I think maybe you’re being so generous with Valentin because you’re afraid to let yourself really feel that overpowering mother love.

Brook Lynn: Guess I never thought of it that way. Valentin’s just so good with her, I just figure, why wouldn’t I support that, right?

Olivia: Honey, it’s okay to be vulnerable. To let yourself love this baby. That tough shell of yours? Bailey already cracked it.

Spencer: I’m a firm believer in friends enjoying themselves.

Trina: Old friends or new?

Spencer: It’s always more interesting hanging out with new friends. Don’t you think?

Ava: You know, I wasn’t aware that the two of you knew each other — well, until the other day, when Spencer exposed you for trying to get Nikolas and me back together. “Parent-trapping,” I think he called it.

Trina: I shouldn’t have gotten involved.

Spencer: It was my fault, too. Trina and I learned a valuable lesson — to stay out of other people’s business.

Ava: Well, I hope you mean that, Spencer.

Spencer: I do. I’m sorry you didn’t bring little Avery with you. I would have loved to say hello. I’m sorry. Is she still living with Aunt Carly?

Ava: Hey, Trina, order whatever you want from the bar, as long as it’s nonalcoholic. My treat, okay? And I’m gonna go order myself a very bloody Mary.

Trina: [ Chuckles ]

Ava: Have fun.

Trina: Thank you.

Spencer: That was generous of Ava.

Trina: You seem surprised. Ava’s actually been a really good friend to me. And I think I know how to be one for her.

Spencer: How?

Trina: By finding out who’s been stalking her and Nikolas.

Sam: My mother didn’t tell me she was in the same facility with Ryan Chamberlain.

Nikolas: Uh, she probably didn’t want to worry you.

Sam: But you did?

Nikolas: There’s nothing to worry about. Ryan is still locked in. He can’t move. He can’t talk. He’s not a danger to Alexis or anyone else.

Sam: No, no, I’m not buying anything about that raging psychopath.

Nikolas: I wheeled him and parked him into a corner, literally. He couldn’t so much as twitch in protest. All he can do is blink.

Sam: Uh, I’m sorry to say this, but I’m with Ava on this one. I think Ryan’s capable of fooling anyone, including you and his doctors.

Nikolas: Well, whether it’s Ryan or some copycat devotee, Ava and I are getting divorced, since it’s what the stalker seems to want.

Sam: But getting a divorce wouldn’t be your first choice?

Nikolas: No, it’s not my choice. It’s Ava. I mean, the stalker proved that he can get to Avery, and that was it for Ava. It’s a line she won’t cross. And how could I blame her? Um, enough about me. What’s going on with you?

Sam: Okay, um… I’m working a case. And it’s no secret that Shawn Butler didn’t shoot Hayden Barnes, and he hired me to find out who did. And that’s why I tracked you down here to the Metro Court, because you’re gonna help me find him.

Brooklyn: Listen, kid, you’re cute, but I think it’s better if we keep our arrangement strictly professional. Look, I know you can’t do that with your daddy/papa, ’cause he doesn’t even know you’re not really his. And do I feel guilty about that? Yes…and no. Yes, because Valentin is turning out to be a really good father. Aww, here you go, Mama. And he’s actually a pretty decent guy, too. But no, and I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this, but your biological father is a wall-crawling psycho. So it’s actually much, much healthier for you to bond with Valentin.  [ Sighs ] I mean, he would protect you regardless. But it doesn’t hurt that he absolutely adores you. Aww, here you go, sweetie. Shh. Shh, shh. As for you and me, I think it’s better if neither of us gets too comfortable with one another. So save your adoring eyes for your real mother.

Chase: Real mother? What do you mean by that?

Elizabeth: I’m sorry you don’t have Franco to talk to anymore. But he would be thrilled you and Josslyn are together. He always just wanted to see you happy.

Cameron: Yeah, I think so, too.

Elizabeth: It’s tough, isn’t it? Getting used to not having him around. Sometimes when I have a really difficult day at work, I come home thinking I just can’t wait to tell Franco about it.

Cameron: Well, you can always talk to me.

Elizabeth: And you can always talk to me.

Cameron: Thanks. I’ll see you later.

Elizabeth: Okay.

Cameron: And, Mom?

Elizabeth: Yeah.

Cameron: Franco would want all of us to be happy.

Elizabeth: See, isn’t this nice — going for a walk, getting a little fresh air, soaking up the sun, little vitamin D?

Finn: Have a private conversation?

Elizabeth: Last thing I want is for you to turn yourself in to protect me.

Finn: And the last thing I want is for them to find Peter’s body and your DNA to be on it. I’d rather take the fall alone than implicate you in any way.  The best thing for everyone is if this body’s never found.

Elizabeth: I just got some stuff I need to work through first, nothing you need to worry about. But then I promise, I will be as happy as Franco would want me to be.

Cameron: Good.

Dante: So, you, uh, expecting someone? You seemed surprised to see me.

Anna: Valentin.

Dante: Mm.

Anna: Well, he wants to bring Peter in as much as we do.

Dante: I guess who you decide to collaborate with is your decision.

Anna: Yes, it is.

Dante: He doesn’t have the most reassuring track record, Anna.

Anna: I think he’s changed, Dante.

Dante: Well, people don’t change. And Valentin is always out for himself. Doesn’t matter who gets in the way.

Anna: I’ll take that under advisement.

Valentin: Hello, Dante. Have you found Peter?

Dante: Not yet. Have you?

Valentin: [ Sighs ] No. Not yet.

Anna: See you.

Valentin:Were you exchanging information?

Anna: Not all of it.

Sam: Hayden went to see Shawn while he was in prison, and she hinted that she might know the identity of her shooter. But she left Port Charles before Shawn could press her for any information.

Nikolas: This is the first time she left, correct? Months after the shooting?

Sam: Yes, correct.

Nikolas: I don’t know how I can help you.

Sam: Come on. You were married to her.

Nikolas: Yeah, the operative word being “were.” Our relationship was complicated, to put it mildly. I mean, technically, we were still married when I was presumed dead.

Sam: Oh, is that what you’re calling it?

Nikolas: How about the time Valentin tried to kill me, and so I chose to go into hiding?

Sam: For three years.

Nikolas: When I decided to take back my life, I contacted Hayden. She and Jax, they worked with me to reclaim what was rightfully mine, and I intended to cut her in on a share of the proceeds. But she took off, because she was afraid of Valentin.

Sam: Leaving Violet with Finn.  I mean, Finn told me that Hayden hasn’t been in contact with Violet at all.

Nikolas: Hey, I tried to track Hayden down. It’s like she disappeared in a black hole.

Sam: Well, we’re trying to look for Hayden’s mother, Naomi Dreyfus. Hopefully she could steer us in the right direction, but we’ve hit a wall there.  Can you do me a favor? If you can find out any information on Hayden, will you let me know?

Nikolas: Of course.  Just remember, Hayden made toxic friends and questionable choices. My advice to you and Shawn — stop looking for her unless you want trouble arriving on your doorstep. Now, if you’ll excuse me.

[ Spencer clears throat ]

Trina: You still here?

Spencer: May I join you?

Trina: It’s a free country.

Spencer: So, what shall we charge to Ava’s tab first? Does a virgin piña colada sound good? How about a mai tai minus the rum?

Trina: I don’t think you were included on my tab. Besides, can’t Cassadines cover their own drinks?

Spencer: A Cassadine can not only cover his own drinks, he can supply them, along with a castle and a state-of-the-art sound system.

Trina: Is that an invitation?

Spencer: Are you accepting?

Josslyn: Accepting what?

Trina: Spencer just offered to throw us a party.

Nikolas: Put that drink on my tab. Shouldn’t you be swimming in the pool instead of a bloody Mary?

Ava: Pool bar doesn’t serve booze before noon. And you should not be seen with me. Our stalker could be watching.

Nikolas: Is that what has you so upset?

Ava: [ Sighs ] I was just reminded that I cannot be with my daughter until you and I are divorced.

Nikolas: I’m sorry. Does it help that I saw Ryan?

Ava: When?

Nikolas: I visited Alexis at Spring Ridge. Ryan Chamberlain is staying at the same facility.

Ava: Why didn’t you tell me sooner?

Nikolas: Because there is nothing to tell. Ryan’s condition is unchanged. He is completely locked in. I honestly don’t see how he could be stalking anyone or even communicating to someone to carry out his orders.

Ava: Well, if that’s true, then it really just makes things worse. We have no idea who’s terrorizing us, just that they’re as sick as Ryan, and their anonymity makes them even more dangerous.

Josslyn: Spencer. God, it’s just so nice of you to throw us a party.

Trina: Oh, we’ve got to have a photo booth.

Josslyn: A deejay and a full lighting package.

Trina: Bungee jumping from the parapet —

Spencer: Slow down. I haven’t agreed to anything.

Trina: So much for making it up to me.

Cameron: Ooh, what’s Spencer making up for this time?

Trina: First, he sabotages my plan to get Ava and Nikolas back together. Then he offers to throw a party to make amends. Now he’s backing out of said party.

Cameron: Dude, you got to throw that party. I thought you were the guy with no limits. I mean, didn’t you rent that yacht one time in, uh, “Ibeeza”?

Spencer: First, it’s pronounced “Ibitha.”

Cameron: Oh, right. Sorry. I don’t know what I was thinking.

Spencer: Second, I’m not backing out of anything. Whatever the lady wants, the lady gets.

Olivia: Hey, honey.

Dante: Hey. Whoa, that’s a lot of glitter. But you got a lot of glitter in your hair, too.

Olivia: Uh, yeah, come on in. Come in.

Dante: Hey.

Olivia: Charlotte thought it would be a good idea to make a birthday card for Wiley out of glitter. Rocco and Leo thought it’d be a better idea to throw glitter all over the backyard.

Dante: Oh, he didn’t. No, and all over themselves and all over you?

Olivia: I’m very glad that the boys are good friends. They are very happy. Charlotte, not so much.

Dante: I can imagine.

Olivia: Yeah. So, Rocco told me that, uh — that you’re taking him to see Lulu in the next couple days, huh?

Dante: Yeah, yeah, that’s the plan.

Olivia: It’s good. That’s good. He should, uh — he should be seeing his mom.

Dante: Why do I get the feeling you’re gonna tell me something I don’t want to hear?

Brook Lynn: God, Chase. You could give a girl a heart attack, sneaking up on me like that.

Chase: Why are you telling your daughter you’re not her real mother?

Brook Lynn: Because I don’t feel like her real mother.

Chase: Look, I’m not an expert on babies, but I think you’re selling yourself short. I think you are a real mother to Bailey.  Come on, I-I was your roommate. I’ve seen firsthand how fiercely devoted you are to the people that you care about.

Valentin: Have you seen Finn?

Anna: I did.

Valentin: And?

Anna: It was him. He was on the roof with Peter.

Valentin: Anna, I am so sorry.

Anna: Yeah, it is what it is. I just have to figure out a way to protect him.

Valentin: From what? Why does Finn need protecting? Anna, what is going on? What happened on that roof?

Anna: Finn pushed Peter. And he fell down the stairs. And, um… he’s convinced he’s dead.

Elizabeth: Well, this is a surprise. Come in.

Sam: Thank you.

Elizabeth: Did you bring more of Jason’s stuff to burn?

Sam: Oh, gosh, how embarrassing. No, I think that was enough danger to last me the rest of the year.

Elizabeth: Well, after finding out that Jason and Carly were engaged, I think we both needed to blow off some steam.  Elizabeth: Hope Dante didn’t give you a hard time.

Dante: You know, for what it’s worth, I think Jason messed up. He had a chance at a lifetime. And he didn’t take it. If it were me, I would have chosen you.

Sam: It turned out alright at the end.

Elizabeth: Well, if we’re not burning anything, what brings you by?

Sam: Your sister Hayden. I need to find her.

Anna: Finn confronted Peter on the roof when he was waiting for the helicopter, and he begged him for the antidote. But Peter refused and chose to toss the vial off the roof, which just… infuriated Finn. He lost it and shoved Peter. He fell down the stairs, smashing his head open in the process. By the time Finn got to him on the landing, he checked for a pulse, but there wasn’t one. And at that point, it was more important for him to save Chase. So he took Peter’s body and deposited it in a — in an abandoned lab, in the sub-basement.

Valentin: Helena’s lab.

Anna: Yeah. Um… Finn put Peter’s body in a freezer.

Valentin: What, by himself?

Anna: He’s vague about that.

Valentin: Meaning he had help.

Anna: Yeah, possibly. Probably. But he refuses to admit it. But listen. This is the important part. He put Peter’s body in the freezer because he couldn’t figure out a safe way to move it. And now he took me there yesterday to show me, but the body’s gone. There’s no sign of Peter.

Valentin: Dead or alive?

Anna: That’s the million-dollar question. The PCPD, they found traces of Peter’s blood in the lab, the elevator, the access corridors. But it’s not clear yet whether the body was carried out of there.

Valentin: Or if he walked out.

Anna: Yeah.

Valentin: What does Dante know?

Anna: Just that Peter’s missing and hurt. He found a lot of the blood actually yesterday. But the PCPD, they obviously — they don’t know about Finn’s connection to any of this.

Valentin: Yet.

Anna: Yeah. Jordan says she wants to put most of her attention on the person that was on the roof with Peter, which is concerning. And all forensics has proven is that, dead or alive, Peter was removed from the basement.

Brook Lynn: This whole baby thing’s got me rattled. I mean, I was fine when Olivia gave me Leo to take care of, but here, I just feel like I’m under a microscope.

Chase: Lots of people living under one roof telling you how to raise your baby?

Brook Lynn: Yeah, and not enough space to get this mothering thing right, although, shock of all shocks, Olivia told me I’m doing a good job.

Chase: Well, if anyone can sense someone going through the motions, it’s Olivia. I wish I could say the same for myself.

Brook Lynn: What are you talking about?

Chase: Going through the motions. I feel like I’m — I’m putting on a front for Willow. It’s — it’s like I’m this optimistic guy who thinks he’s gonna jump out of the chair any day.

Brook Lynn: You will.

Chase: Yeah, I’m trying. I really am grateful to the Quartermaines for asking me back to stay at the house.

Brook Lynn: Trust me. They’re putting up Valentin. You’re easy-peasy.

Chase: It’s the perfect situation for me. The house already has wheelchair access because of Lila, and Willow’s just up the driveway. What more could I ask for?

Brook Lynn: To walk.

Chase: Yeah. Yeah, that. It’s like I’m faking it, or I’m bluffing until one day, I miraculously wake up, and I actually feel like Willow’s husband.

Brook Lynn: Meanwhile, thanks to, uh, Nelle Benson and her scissors of doom, I can’t even sing Bailey a lullaby.

Chase: Maybe I can help with that. Can I hold Bailey?

Brook Lynn: Of course. Come here, sweet one. Take this.

[ Bailey fusses, Brook Lynn clicks tongue ]

Brook Lynn: Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh. Shh, shh, shh, shh.

Chase: Aww. Hey, you. Hey. Oh, my gosh. You know, when my mom would rock me to sleep, she’d sing me this song. She’d sing…lullaby and good night you’re your mother’s delight shining angels by your side my darling, abide soft and warm is your bed close your eyes and rest your head soft and warm is your bed close your eyes and rest your head

[ Bailey fussing ]

Chase: Yeah. Yeah.

Olivia: I-I don’t mean to pry.

Dante: Well, but you’re gonna.

Olivia: Uh — every time you see Lulu in that facility, it costs you. Now, and don’t get me wrong, I am so thrilled that you are back at the PCPD being a detective. But a job does not equal a life.

Dante: Lulu was my life, Ma. And now I barely even have a legal right to see her. Thankfully, Laura allows me to.

Olivia: Oh, of course she does.

Dante: But — but my point is, the — the divorce, I-I’m the one who insisted on that.

Olivia: And you’ve been beating yourself up about it for months. But it just seems like lately — I don’t know, maybe seems like you’re lightening up a little bit, trying to cut yourself some slack. I just wonder if — if maybe that didn’t have something to do with Sam.

Dante: [ Sighs ]

Elizabeth: So, what, Shawn was framed for Hayden’s shooting. The judge who sentenced him is now being investigated for racial bias. And now Shawn’s been released, and the governor commuted his sentence to time served.

Sam: Yeah. That’s pretty much it. Now that the truth is out, whoever framed Shawn could pose a danger to Hayden.  I know that you and Hayden weren’t exactly friends at the time.

Elizabeth: We didn’t even know we were sisters.

Sam: But you eventually did grow closer. And if there’s maybe some sort of information that Hayden told you at some time that you didn’t think was important then that is actually important now, I mean, anything that could help us figure out who shot your sister.

Elizabeth: Was Hayden in the wrong place at the wrong time? Or was she shot because of you? Were you the one behind this? Was Hayden…

Spencer: Do you want something to drink or eat? I’ll put it on the Cassadine tab. You can save Ava’s offer for another time.

Trina: I’m good, thanks.

Spencer: Okay.

Trina: Spencer.

Spencer: Change your mind?

Trina: Yes, about the party at Wyndemere. If you don’t think your dad will approve, don’t have it. Joss and I kind of forced you into it anyway.

Spencer: Thanks.

Trina:  I know things are just getting back on track for you and your dad. I wouldn’t want to spoil it.

Spencer: Trina.  Just get ready.

Trina: For what?

Spencer: For the biggest rager Port Charles has ever seen.

Ava: Until we figure out who is stalking us, who’s threatening us, threatening Avery, there is no future for us, Nikolas.

Nikolas: Oh, don’t say that.

Ava: Please don’t. Really, you j– you just make things more difficult.

Nikolas: I don’t mean to. Don’t you know? There’s just — there’s nothing I wouldn’t do to make you feel safe.

Ava: I do know that. And I hate seeing you hurting, too.

Valentin: We’ve got to find Peter before the PCPD does, before he can hurt anybody else.

Anna: W-we don’t know if he’s alive or dead. Finn is convinced that he’s dead.

Valentin: Anna, I say this as delicately as I can. I am not emotionally attached to Finn like you are. I don’t have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Anna: [ Sighs ] Where do we go from here? I mean, I-I’m lying by omission to Dante and Jordan.

Valentin: There are two possible scenarios. Peter is dead, and somebody has moved his body, or he’s alive, and he’s in hiding, and we’ve got problems. And I think it’s much more likely that he’s alive.

Brook Lynn: Shh, shh, shh, shh. Bailey’s sleeping like, well, a baby.

Chase: My singing put her to sleep.

Brook Lynn: Yeah.

Chase: You know, maybe you could tell Willow that. Can’t help but feeling that this version of me isn’t enough for her.

Brook Lynn: Chase, any woman would be lucky to have you as a husband.

Chase: And Bailey is lucky to have you as a mom. I’ve seen the way that she looks at you and the way that you look at her. And I-I know I’m not a parent, but I think going all-in on loving your child, it’s half the battle.

Dante: We have talked about this, okay? Sam and I, we’re just friends, okay? And we’re barely that after she threw us both in the harbor on the fourth, okay?

Olivia: You see?

Dante: What?

Olivia: This is what I’m talking about.

Dante: What?

Olivia: The — the — the spark!

Dante: No. What spark? This is nothing. I don’t even know what you’re talking — Rocco, let’s go, man!

Olivia: No, you’re smiling! You’re — you’re laughing! The other day, I saw you do a completely spontaneous rant about the Yankees. Honey, you’ve got such an amazing capacity to embrace life. And maybe it’s got something to do with Sam. Maybe not. I could be right. I could be wrong. I don’t know. But I know that if Lulu was here, she’d want you to stop moping around. She would want you to live your life.

Dante: I know. And I’m — I’m trying to, Ma, to be in the present moment as much as I can, but it is — it’s really tough. Maybe I-I do have to start thinking about… letting go of Lulu.

Olivia: So, I’m right?

Dante: [ Sighs ] Uh, yeah. Okay. As much as it pains me to say that, maybe you are.

Sam: Elizabeth, can you think of anything that Hayden told you that might be relevant?

Elizabeth: No. No, I-I can’t think of anything. I’m just trying to process what you told me.

Sam: Shawn seems pretty convinced that she knew who was behind her attempted murder.

Elizabeth: Well, she didn’t talk to me about it. But there were a lot of things we didn’t talk about. She changed a lot once — once she became a mother. Everything she did was about Violet. She was so loving and committed. That’s why it still doesn’t make sense she would just disappear and leave Violet behind.

Sam: Okay, so maybe she disappeared to protect Violet.

Elizabeth: Or something happened, and Hayden can’t come back.

Josslyn: Were you and Spencer finalizing details for the party?

Trina: Actually, I was gonna let him off the hook, but he wasn’t having it. He swears it’s gonna be an epic party.

Cameron: Don’t get your hopes up too high, Trina. Spencer’s a nice kid and all, but sometimes, he doesn’t deliver exactly what he promises.

Trina: So you’re saying he’s a liar?

Josslyn: More of a compulsive exaggerator. You see, Spencer is capable of some incredible things, but he thinks he has to be all incredible all the time, sometimes to the point of being obnoxious.

Trina: Are you warning me away from Spencer?

Ava: I miss you so much. And I miss Avery. I want you both back.

Nikolas: I know. Me, too.

Brook Lynn: I tried not to get attached. You’re Maxie’s daughter, not mine. But you’ve grown on me, Bailey. Good god. Who wouldn’t fall in love with a face like yours?

[ Bailey fusses ]

Brook Lynn: Yeah. Yeah.

Dante: No, no, no, Rocco, Rocco, Rocco, no, no, no! No glitter on your person bef– off before you get in the car, please. [ Sighs ] What do you think the odds of that happening are?

Olivia: It’s going all over your car.

Dante: Yeah. Yeah. Alright. I’ll see you. Bye.

Olivia: Hey. Come on back if you need any advice.

Dante: Oh, yeah. I know where to go if I need someone to talk to. I think I’m good for now, though. But hey. And this is the only thing I’m gonna say about Sam.

Olivia: Mm-hmm.

Dante: Butt out.

Sam: I’m sorry if my investigation has dredged up painful memories for you. If I learn where Hayden is, you will be my first call.

Elizabeth: Thank you.

Sam: Of course.

[ Cellphone rings ]

Nikolas: Hello?

Elizabeth: You need to come over right away.

Nikolas: Everything okay?

Elizabeth: We need to talk about Hayden.

Nikolas: What about her?

Elizabeth: About what you did to her.

Josslyn: I’m not warning you away from Spencer.

Cameron: Although that might actually be a good idea.

Josslyn: I have a noninterference clause when it comes to other people’s relationships, or lack thereof. You know, if you want to be with Spencer or Victor or someone else or nobody at all, I am here to support, not to judge.

Trina: Thank you.

Cameron: And besides, Joss and I, we’re still figuring out stuff for ourselves.

Trina: What’s to figure out?

Josslyn: Well, Cam’s mom, for one thing. Mrs. Baldwin walked in on us.

Trina: Embarrassing.

Josslyn: Yeah.

Cameron: Very. But after my mom and I talked, she was actually pretty chill about it.

Trina: Lucky you. I would actually sink through the floor if my mom ever caught me kissing a guy.

Ava: [ Sniffles ]

Spencer: Everything okay?

Ava: What do you want, Spencer?

Spencer: I guess I deserve your suspicion. I wasn’t very subtle about my anger toward you.

Ava: I know you have your reasons. I know that — that you needed me to testify to help you with Valentin. And when your father came home, I practically blackmailed him into marrying me.

Spencer: No one’s perfect.

Ava: Certainly neither of us.

Spencer: Since I’ve been home, I’ve seen how much my father loves you and you love him. Do you think that we can put the past behind us, start fresh? Is it possible that we could declare a truce?

Anna: Why do you believe that Peter survived?

Valentin: Who’s gonna move the body? What’s the point? I mean, unless Finn has some unknown ally ready to cover for him. Come on. This is Peter we’re talking about. He’s not the first dead man to get up and walk away in Port Charles. And now he’s had weeks to go to ground and cover his tracks.

Anna: Yeah. That makes sense. I can’t help hoping that he’s dead.

Valentin: I know. I know.

Anna: It would just be a relief to know that I wasn’t the one who had to kill him.

Valentin: See, this is how you and I are different. I’m ready to kill Peter myself. I want him dead and buried, where he’s no longer a threat to anyone I love.

On the next “General Hospital” —

Brook Lynn (to Valentin): What you need to do is back off.

Elizabeth (to Nikolas): You had Hayden shot.

Spencer (to Ava): Why do you keep sending my father mixed signals?

Austin (to Chase): Do I need to watch my back the way Valentin says?

Sam (to Shawn): I’m afraid I have bad news.

Michael (to Jason): I’m going to take a page out of your book.

Carly: What are you two doing?
