JJ talked to Chad at the hospital. He told Chad that the kids were with Jack and Jennifer. JJ told Chad he went with Jack and Jennifer to protect the children. He said he wasn’t involved with the custody battle. Chad said there were no hard feelings. JJ told Chad he was afraid that Theo would still hate him. Sarah and Maggie talked about Xander not fighting for custody of Victoria. She told Maggie that he was being a decent guy. When Sarah left, Xander showed up with a gift for Maggie. Maggie thought Xander was trying to butter her up. She told him she only put up with him because of the company. Xander wanted her to open the gift and if she didn’t like it, she could throw it out. The gift was a portrait of Victor. Xander said he wanted to make up for ruining the other portrait and for hurting her. Maggie thanked him and told him Victor loved him.
Brady and Sarah ran into each other at the town square. They talked about family problems and how they were making peace with their exes. While they were talking about Kristen and Xander, they noticed the mistletoe. They kissed each other. Some of the Hortons showed up at the Horton House. Jack and Jennifer showed up with the kids. The kids were excited to see Chad. Jack and Jennifer explained to Chad why they took the kids. Chad thanked them for taking care of the kids. They thought they shouldn’t take Chad to court for custody since the kids were upset about him being gone. Chad let them know he was not giving up his kids. The rest of the Hortons showed up and put up the ornaments on the tree.
