Li: Oh my god, finn! See? My beautiful, sweet boy.
Sheila: You’re coming back to us.
Li: Ahuh, he is. It’s mom. Both your mothers.
Sheila: What– he’s trying to say something.
Finn: S—
Li: What is– what is it, sweetheart? What– what are you– what are you trying to tell us?
Liam: Man, I’m still– I– I’m not over the whole eric and donna thing, that’s–
Hope: Yeah, no, I am just as shocked as you are. I mean, I’ve– I’ve– I saw it and then I confronted donna. And–
Liam: I mean– eric’s a married man and I– you know, I know that he and quinn have had their issues, but I kinda thought that they were on the other side of that. And now you’re saying–
Hope: No, I’m saying that I wish I never walked in on that because I hate knowing what I know now! And– and that conversation with eric, it wasn’t easy.
Liam: Yeah, well, that couldn’t have been easy for either one of you, if he’s betraying his wife.
Hope: Just follow
your heart, eric.
Whether you tell quinn
the truth and recommit
to your marriage to her,
or you tell her the truth,
and you let her go.
I just think you and I both
know that the important thing

Quinn: Give me the ring back, carter.
Carter: No.
Quinn: Don’t do it.

Quinn: Don’t give that ring to paris. Don’t do something you’re going to regret. Carter, please listen.

Quinn: I want that for you. I want you to be truly happy.

Quinn: That may be. But that doesn’t mean that you should propose to paris. You don’t love her. Not the way a man is supposed to love a woman, he wants to spend the rest of his life with!

Hope: You know, I believe that wedding vows should be respected. And I’m not condoning what eric and donna are doing.
Liam: Are you about to say, “but…”?
Hope: Well, it’s just– it is evident that things have not been the same since quinn and carter had their affair. And you should have heard the way that eric and donna were talking about each other–
Liam: I mean, I– I’ve heard the whole thing about how eric is donna’s one true love, and I just don’t– I mean, does he feel the same way about her?
Hope: I think he might. But donna begged me not to say anything. What are you going to do?
[ Knocking on door ]
Liam: Hey.
Ridge: Hey. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to just burst in, but, uh, you need to know this.
Liam: What’s up?
Ridge: Sheila has escaped.
Li: It’s okay, son. Don’t exert yourself.
Sheila: Oh, I’m just so happy you’re awake.
Li: Yeah.
Finn: So.. stef– steffy–
[ Groaning ]
Sheila: Finn, baby. Stay with us, come on, don’t– don’t go.
Li: It’s okay. It’s okay. He needs his rest. Yeah.
Sheila: Steffy! He said, “steffy.” He’s going to make it, li, against all odds, finn is gonna pull through. Oh my god. I didn’t– I didn’t kill my son. I– I’m gonna have another opportunity to be a mother to him. Yeah, baby. Age-related macular degeneration may lead to severe vision loss.

Eric: I wasn’t expecting you home so soon. I thought you had a meeting with the supplier later.
Quinn: I rescheduled it.
Eric: Yeah– oh, at the last minute? Like that?
Quinn: Yeah, uh, it’s okay. Franco didn’t mind. Do you?
Eric: No. Why would you think I would?
Quinn: Nothing. Nothing. It’s just– it’s– it’s been one of those days.
Eric: Are you all right? Something happened at the office?
Quinn: I’m just– uh, I’m worried about carter.
Eric: Carter? Why?
Quinn: I– you know what? Forget it. I– I am sorry that I even brought it up. I don’t– I don’t want to talk about that. In fact, uh, let’s not talk at all. You know, eric, I hope that we can find our way back to to way– to the way we were, you know, when you hung that portrait of me over the fireplace.
Hope: Do they know about the guard, or whoever it was inside that helped her?
Ridge: The police? I don’t think the police knows anything other than sheila’s running around out there somewhere.
Liam: Okay, but we– we’re we’re, like, absolutely sure that– that sheila doesn’t know where steffy and the kids are?
Ridge: Yeah, we– we are absolutely sure. That’s what I told you. If I thought that they were in danger, I’d be over there. Trust me.
Hope: Well, you said that mom knows, but does li know what’s going on? Has anyone talked to her?
Ridge: I– I left a message. Haven’t heard back from her.
Liam: I mean, might be worth trying her again.
Sheila: Is– is finn all right? He– he was conscious. And then he slipped back under, you’ve– you’ve got to do something, li. Our son needs you. I– I need you.
[ Phone ringing ] Why is ridge calling you?
Li: I– I don’t know.
Sheila: Well, don’t answer it.
Li: If I ignore ridge’s calls or texts, he’s going to get suspicious.
Sheila: Yeah, well. I don’t care. It’s too risky.
Li: You don’t trust me? Sheila, like I said, I don’t want to contact the police. I’d end up in jail myself. That– then what would happen to finn, huh? He needs me. He needs us. We can’t turn against each other now.
[ Phone ringing ]
Sheila: All right, answer. But you keep it on speaker. I want to hear everything ridge has to say.
Li: Hello, ridge.
Ridge: Li, hey, uh,
thanks for picking up.
Li: Um, I’ve been busy.
Ridge: Did you get my message?
Li: Yes. That sheila has escaped?
Ridge: Yes. And has she tried to get in touch with you? Make contact in any way?
Li: No. Sheila hasn’t contacted me. I haven’t seen or heard from her. I can’t believe it. But if I see anything, I’ll call you.
Ridge: All right, and– try to keep in mind that she’s very dangerous.
Li: I know. Thank you, ridge.
[ Machines beeping ]
Sheila: Thank you. I really want to believe that everything you have said, you’ve– you’ve meant. But I also want you to believe how much I love our son. You understand that now, don’t you, li? If the peanut butter in a reese’s could talk
Paris: Our future?
Carter: Yes. Yes, it’s waiting for us, paris, we just have– we have to reach out and take it. I’m ready. Are you?
Paris: Of– of course I’m ready. I told you that before, but–
Carter: It– it still feels like it’s coming out of nowhere.
Paris: Before today, I didn’t think we were going to end up together. But I hadn’t given up hope. I mean, you were the one that was so adamant–
Carter: I know, I know. I know. I– I was deluding myself. I– I wasn’t seeing things the way they really are.
Paris: Are you sure this is what you really want? I’m absolutely sure. This is what I need.
Eric: Quinn, you’re still that same beautiful woman. You haven’t changed.
Quinn: But our marriage has. I feel it. And I know you do, too. It’s probably why you spend so much time at the club instead of wanting to be here with me. And, you know, I don’t– I don’t blame you. I know this is my fault. I know that I’m the reason for the strain in our marriage.
Eric: Quinn.
Quinn: No, it’s okay. I don’t want to hide from the truth. But, eric, you need to know, despite what’s going on between us, I believe in us, in our future. And I hope you do, too.
Li: How can anyone not love finn? Decent, kind, caring young man he is.
Sheila: Those are attributes that he got from you. I’ll be forever grateful for the mother that you were. That you are, li. Forever thankful for bringing our son back.
Li: He still has a long, uncertain road ahead of him.
Sheila: Yeah, between the two of us, I– I know that we can nurse him back to health. I– we– we can love him back to what he was before this horrible thing happened. Yeah, it was risky for me to come here, but I had to know what you did with my son. Had to know if you buried him, or if you were holding on to his ashes, because– I wanted to say my final goodbye. But then, this– I– I found out he’s alive. Finally, this– this crushing burden that I– I’ve been living with, it’s– it’s– it’s like it’s been lifted. And finally, there’s something to be hopeful for.
Li: I need to get medicine for finn. I have to leave. For copd,
Carter: I should have done this before now. Moved forward with you. But I’m ready, I’m ready to– to turn the page. I’m ready for a new chapter. A new chapter where I can– I can build something wonderful with you, paris. Something that starts with this.
Paris: Is– is that what I think it is?
Carter: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It’s an engagement ring.
Paris: You want to marry me?
Carter: Say yes. Say– say you’ll be my wife.
Quinn: Sorry, I didn’t mean to bring all this up.
Eric: No, no, don’t apologize. You have every right. This is your marriage.
Quinn: This is our marriage. This is our future, as husband and wife. I miss you. Miss us.
Eric: I know.
Quinn: I believe that we have a marriage that’s worth fighting for. And I want to know that you feel the same way.
Liam: Hey, kids okay?
Hope: Yeah.
Liam: Yeah. Well, here’s hoping the next phone call you get is baker saying they caught sheila.
Hope: Just wonder where she could be.
Ridge: The only thing we know for sure is that sheila is out there. We got to find her. Put her behind bars before she causes any more havoc.
Li: Did you hear me, sheila? I need to get medicine for finn.
Sheila: You think you’re going to just walk out that door?
Li: Yes. And you’re going to let me. Because you know what will happen if you don’T. Finn will die. And that I won’t allow. I sacrificed too much to save our son.
Sheila: You know what? Then I’m going to go. I will go to the pharmacy and pick up finn’s medications.
Li: You don’t have access to the hospital pharmacy, sheila. I do. Plus, there are cops everywhere looking for you. This can’t wait. Finn came to. He’s so close to returning to us. All his progress will be ruined if I don’t get his medication today. Now.
Sheila: I understand that, it– but it’s just too–
Li: Look, I know why you’re hesitating. You heard me on the phone with ridge. I could have told them you’re here, but I didn’T. Like I said, I have so much to lose here. I’d end up in jail, separated from finn. And I don’t want that. And I know you don’t want to be separated from him either. But we both will, if finn doesn’t get his medication. We could lose him forever, sheila. Let me go. Our son’s life depends on it.
Sheila: All right, you go and get finn’s medications.
[ Machines beeping ] I’m trusting you.
[ Exhaling ]
