“SurrealEstate” tells the story of real estate agents Luke Roman and Susan Ireland and an elite team of specialists that handle the cases no one else can: haunted and possessed houses that literally scare would-be buyers away. Researching, investigating and “fixing” the things that go bump in the night, the team works to create closure – and closings – even as they struggle with demons of their own. The series stars Tim Rozon, Sarah Levy, Maurice Dean Wint and Elena Juatco.
George R. Olson
Creator, Showrunner, and Executive producer
George R. Olson is a recovering advertising executive, having spent most of his career as writer/producer and chief creative officer at one of Colorado’s largest ad agencies. Recognized with over 300 creative awards, George turned to writing for film and television. One of his first original screenplays, a bio-pic of Nikola Tesla, attracted the attention of filmmaker Barry Sonnenfeld, with whom he developed the script. George developed another award-winning original feature WHITEFISH with actor/director John Turturro, and the Jesse Owens Olympic saga MASTER RACE with Anthony Mackie attached to star. In television, George has developed several original pilots including BITTERROOT at USA Network, POISON COUNTY and GODSPEED with MGM Television, THE NATURE OF YOUR EMERGENCY with Keshet Studios, and RUTHLESS with the CW Network. George is just completing his third season as creator, executive producer and showrunner of SURREALESTATE on SYFY.
