Ridge: My dad is dying and you didn’t tell me.
Donna: I’m sorry, okay? I am sorry for not telling you and I’m sorry for what you’re going through. But you know what? I wanted to tell you. I wanted to tell both of you, but Eric didn’t want you to know because he didn’t want this. He didn’t want your pity!
Ridge: This is not about pity. We gotta try to find some answers to save my dad.
Steffy: I hope she got the message.
Finn: Well, you punched her in the face. Message received.
Steffy: I wasn’t planning on that. Deacon, he’s– he’s– how could he be so gullible? Like, Sheila is incapable of love. It’s just–
Finn: It’s mind-numbing.
[ Kelly and Hayes roaring ]
Steffy: It’s monsters!
[ All laughing and shouting ]
Steffy: No, get him. Don’t get me.
[ All screaming and shouting ]
[ Steffy laughing ]
Steffy: Get him! He’s more delicious.
[ All laughing ]
Finn: Oh, my God, I miss this. Thanks a lot, Bodie. I’m being feasted on over here.
Bodie: What am I supposed to do? I’m one of them!
[ Bodie roaring ]
[ All shouting and laughing ]
Bodie: Oh, man. I’m so glad you guys are home. I really miss babysitting.
Steffy: Oh, thank you again, and helping us get back into a routine. We’ll see you soon?
Bodie: Absolutely.
Steffy: Thank you.
Bodie: How about some claw-fives? Yeah! Bye.

Finn: All right, you little monsters, who’s hungry?
Kelly: I am!
Finn: Yeah? Okay, well, dinner’s ready, but first, I kinda need an appetizer, so maybe this little arm right here might be tasty.
[ Finn growling ]
[ Finn laughing ]
[ Steffy laughing ]

[ Finn chuckling ]
Bill: Wanna hear the specials?
Liam: Huh. Hey.
Bill: What do you got there? Hm. What’s going on? You sounded pretty intense when you called.
Liam: Steffy’s home.
Bill: So, Steffy’s back from Europe.
Liam: Yeah, fresh off the plane.
Bill: You seen her?
Liam: No, I just, uh– I talked to Kelly and she said that she and her mom and Hayes were back in L.A.
Bill: Well, now it all makes sense. The woman you love is back. The question is, what are you gonna do about it?
Finn: So, how is it? I still got it?
Hayes: Yummy.
Kelly: Best ordering ever. All my favorites.
Finn: Mm. Well, it makes it easier when your mommy’s favorites are your favorites, too.
Steffy: What can I say? She has good taste. Little mini me.
Kelly: Dad says hi by the way.
Steffy: When– when did you talk to him?
Kelly: Earlier.
Finn: So, Liam knows you’re back?
Kelly: Yep. Can’t wait to see Daddy. Europe was fun, but it’s good to be home.
Steffy: Couldn’t agree more.
Eric: Yes, it was a banner day. That’s a great way to put it.
[ Eric chuckling ]
Eric: Absolutely. Yes. Oh, wait, I’m gonna have to go. My brilliant co-designer just came in. Yes. Thanks for calling. Bye. So? So, we did it! We did it. Congratulations, my boy. We beat Ridge! Yeah. [ Chuckling ]
Donna: I mean, it has been appointment after appointment and test after test, and it was only since Eric started coughing up blood that the doctor was able to pinpoint the diagnosis.
Ridge: Pinpoint what? That he’s got a few months to live? That’s not good enough. Who is this guy? Who is this doctor? I wanna go talk to him, talk about– about– about medication and treatment, not a death sentence.
Bill: I’m sorry, Liam. I wish you could just be excited that Steffy and Kelly are home.
Liam: I mean, listen, I am excited, in a way. It’s just complicated because of the fact that Sheila–
Bill: Yeah, yeah, nobody understands more than I do. Sheila. Of course.
Liam: You know, did I miss Steffy and Kelly like crazy? Yes, I did. Do I think it’s a great idea for them to be back home with a psychopath roaming free, especially if they’re gonna be staying with the aforementioned psychopath’s son? No.
Steffy: Is that a yawn? I think you two are exhausted. Time for bed.
Finn: I saw you rubbing your eyes, Hayes. You almost fell asleep in your moo shu. Mummy’s right. Time for bed. Why don’t you guys go get washed up, brush your teeth and, uh, be in to tuck you in soon. Okay?
Kelly: Come on, Hayes. I’ll race you.
Finn: Aw. You’ve no idea how much I missed this. Missed you three.
Steffy: Mm. Oh.
Finn: Hey, thanks for coming home.
Eric: We had a great day. It was really wonderful. Yeah, it was really hard work, but it all paid off. And Ridge really gave it the old college try.
Ridge: I won. And I’m sorry, man. I– I know the work you did with granddad was amazing and your time will come, but not right now. Right now, it’s me.
RJ: Granddad’s dying.
Ridge: How long does he have? Do we know?
RJ: The doctor says he has a few months.
Eric: You know the results.
Ridge: I do.
Eric: Well, I don’t want to wait any longer. I don’t have all the time in the world, you know. Who won this fashion challenge, you or me?
Ridge: You won ’cause you’re the master.
[ Donna gasping ]
[ Eric chuckling ]
Donna: Oh, my god.
Ridge: Congratulations.
Eric: Thank you.
Eric: I really have to commend Ridge for how graciously he handled the defeat.
RJ: He did. He, um… he loves you, Granddad. He’d do anything for you.
Ridge: Where’d you find this guy?
Donna: Eric’s doctor?
Ridge: Yeah.
Donna: Uh, he’s one of the best in his field.
Ridge: Maybe he’s one of the best, but we need the best.
Brooke: Ridge.
Ridge: What?
Colby: Hello, everyone. I’m Dr. Colby. Still trying to get that top spot in the ranking.
Ridge: Sorry.
Colby: Now, I assure you, Mr. Forrester’s health and wellbeing are my top priority. You must be Ridge, his son.
Ridge: Yeah, and this is Brooke, Donna’s sister.
Colby: Nice to meet you. Just wish it was under better circumstances. I must say, Donna here has been quite the advocate for your father while he’s been keeping this quiet.
Ridge: Well, he’s still keeping it quiet. He doesn’t know that we know, but here’s my question. How does this vital man, this force of nature, now, all of a sudden, is on his deathbed? How does that happen?
Colby: Once the hemoptysis presented itself, it made the diagnosis clear. Again, combined with these elevated levels that we saw–
Ridge: Doc, I’m sorry, I don’t know how to read this stuff. What I do know is I want to save my dad, so we gotta do that. Whatever it takes: Clinical trials, whatever medication there is, maybe talk to somebody else. No offense, but we gotta do something.
Colby: I assure you, I’ve called in every contact, every consult, every peer. They all agree. I can set up any call or appointment you want. At this point… we’ve done all that we can. I’m sorry. I wish I had better news. The best advice I can offer: Don’t waste the time that you have left together. Be there for your dad. He’s gonna need you these remaining days.
Liam: I never had an issue with Finn until Sheila became a threat to Steffy and Kelly and Hayes.
Bill: Yeah, the clown should be doing everything in his power to keep Sheila away.
Liam: Right, but he’s not doing that. Instead, he’s– he’s calling her Mom, and he’s embracing her. And he– you know what? He didn’t even give Steffy a heads up about the fact that Sheila and Deacon are hooking up, and I was like, “okay, you know what? I just– screw it.” So, I called her myself. I left her a message and I told her.
Bill: Because you love Steffy, Liam. She knows that. We all know that. Don’t ever forget it.
Steffy: I knew they would pass right out.
Finn: I know, right? Not even half a book. I think that’s a new record. But, hey, look. Gives us more time for this.
Steffy: Mm-kay.
[ Finn chuckling ]
Finn: Cheers.
Steffy: Cheers.
Finn: Hey, hold on. I just want to be clear. I’m sorry for letting you down, okay? I’ll never make that mistake again. You will never hear me say “Mom” when it comes to Sheila. And I will always protect you and the kids, even though I know you can protect yourself. I saw it firsthand the way you clocked Sheila.
Steffy: Look, I, uh– I won’t lie. Sheila is a risk. She’s unpredictable, but it suddenly hit me that I don’t… I don’t want to be away from you. Everything that we’ve built. I will not let Sheila separate me from my family. Make no mistake how much I missed you, too.
Eric: I’m very aware that, um, this whole thing put a strain on our budget and on other departments, but I’m very, very pleased that your dad agreed to go along with the– with the challenge. And I’m even happier with the outcome.
RJ: He loves you. And– and he respects you. And you should know there’s nothing that he wouldn’t do for you.
[ Ridge sighing ]
Ridge: Oh. Sorry, I gotta get used to knocking.
Eric: Yeah, it’s a pretty good idea, actually. I’m not naive, you know. I am going to get used to sharing the office from time to time with other people. I just want everyone to remember whose name is on the door and I never want to see anyone else sitting in this chair.
Ridge: We got it. You should be the only person in that chair.
Eric: That’s right. And I’m not going anywhere.
Bill: You know, Sharpe must have spent more time in prison making pizzas than license plates ’cause I gotta say, this is really good.
Liam: Yeah, no, his pizzas are good. It’s his decision-making that, uh, tends to leave a bad taste in your mouth. I mean, him cozying up to Sheila effectively destroys any chance of her leaving town because now you know her– her focus is gonna be entirely on Finn and Hayes.
Bill: Keeping Steffy and Kelly in danger.
Liam: Exactly, and this is– this is why, as much as I want to enjoy the fact that they’re all home, I– I can’t because I don’t want Sheila to hurt any of them. And I’m not– I’m not gonna let her.
Bill: I love this, you see? Here are genetics at work. A man who will stop at nothing to protect the ones he loves.
Liam: I mean, you’re not wrong. I’m past the point of denying my feelings for Steffy. I– I don’t– I don’t want to cause her any grief, but you know what? She and I are a family too, and the fact is, I can give her a better, safer life than Finn can.
Finn: I’ve wanted this for so long.
Steffy: You have no idea how much I miss this.
Finn: I never want to be away from you and the kids again. We have gone through too much to allow anyone or anything to come between us. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you for a reason. You are the most incredible, caring, intelligent, sexy woman I know. You’ve changed my life and there is no going back. And you prove it again today just how amazing you are by confronting Sheila.
[ Steffy chuckling ]
Finn: With this.
Steffy: Stop talking about Sheila. I don’t want to hear her name anymore. I just want to be with you, in your arms… and the warmth of your body. I just wanna be with you.
Eric: I really needed to win this competition. It was like– like my life– my life depended on it, you know? I’m not sure I can– I can successfully describe to you how it feels to me to be back in this– this office again and have this desk here. Um, the stapler, for instance, I mean, this– the stapler, I’ve– I’ve missed it for so long and here it is. Luna found this. She’s wonderful, you know. We should make her Co-Co-CEO.
Ridge: Mm-hm.
Eric: She’s terrific. It may seem silly, but this stapler means a lot to me. It’s been with me since the very beginning and, uh, it was lost. It was gone. Like it was dead and forgotten. Like me, yeah?
Brooke: Eric, you will never be lost. You will never be forgotten.
Ridge: No. Glad you’re here. This company needs you. We need you. I need you. I need my dad.
[ Eric chuckling ]
